pamcode: At all bro there were periods that Bournemouth kept winning the ball and kept putting pressure on city backline, almost all the city defence cupped a yellow. They deserved a Draw for me. I guess we can agree to disagree on this one.... |

pamcode: How? They were in complete control of the game start to finish, and only conceded a magnificent golazo from near-impossible angle. A draw would have flattered Bournemouth in my opinion. |

Leyqute: Dude needs to be severely punished. He had two players there to pass to, one of them through on goal. It just baffles me to see him act so stupidly. He was Bournemouths number 9 in the later half of last season, and you could see that he went into Autopilot there in full striker mode. A more rounded player would have looked up and spotted the pass. Very poor from the guy. |

Posted at 46 mins Bournemouth 1-1 Man City I am surprised Nathan Ake has emerged for the second half, not because of the niggle he suffered in the latter part of the first half, but in embarrassment at his performance for much of the 45 minutes I cant believe a BBC reporter is allowed to be this savage |

Cybertext: @bolded please dont refer me to the books... I'd like to know; where in the show was it stated that the distance in the show is same with that of the book
Game of thrones is an adaptation from a book doesn't mean everything must be the same (that include dialogues and plots). The show runners might have their own size of westerousy different from that of GRRM.... https://www.nairaland.com/1243015/game-thrones-discussion-beware-spoilers/525#59792090This Chart is what I was questioning not the books |

gj22: No one said it was nonstop. You are the one that assumed that. You continue to display a shocking lack of comprehension. The only way a Raven could cover a 2500km distance in 32 hours flying at 80km/h is if it flew non-stop. There is no other way it could cover that distance within the time given in that chart. The rest of your post is just unintelligent garbage as usual. What I don't get is why you always feel the need to inflict your particular brand of silliness on me, completely unsolicited. I would appreciate if you just ignore my posts in future - your unique blend of belligerence and stupidity might be your USP, but I'm not interested in your market fam. |

hoopLA: Please again, I'm not as smart as you are.
But I don't necessarily agree.
The situation where all the best player categories were won by players above 30 sort of negates that theory in my honest view.
It can't be a coincidence the way I see it either.
Again, if those City players never had a chance to play for Pep, it would have been a different argument. But when you use them for a full season and suddenly remember they are old, then whoever is giving that excuse for City's poor season has a Centrino powered brain.
Not referring to you. How many 20 year olds are doing what Ororo is doing? Let alone 30 year olds. Once you understand that Ororo and Messi are not in the same class as the rest of these mere mortals, then you'll see why your argument does not hold water. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nihilist: 8:03am On Aug 25, 2017 |
hoopLA: @Nihilist, the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and attacker in the champions league last season are all over 30.
Please explain to me how that happened. I'm willing to understand, since you have a better grasp of issues than that village id10t forming intellectual.
Was it a function of speed, since certain positional players are expected to run quicker than others, since goalkeepers are supposedly exempt from this discussion (even though a near 40 year old goalie ranks among the best in Europe today)?
Or is that theory specially for defenders?
Since that empty barrel insists that football is for young people, please elucidate.
Thank you I answered you on the day sir. These people are all outliers. You can't hang your argument on the likes of Ororo and say because he did it, another 30 year old too can do it... |

sharex15: God........ people sha The only thing this guy is trying to point out is that it works if all this scenarios happened . This is just a theory and the fact that it adds up means the writers didn't just write the scene anyhow. This is just a rough estimate And I'm only trying to point out how unfeasible some of these ideas are... How many birds do you see flying at night? Yet for thus theory to work, the raven would have had to fly nonstop day and night for 32 hours straight without pausing to sleep, eat etc... If it sounds unbelievable, that's because it probably is... |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Nihilist: 7:43pm On Aug 24, 2017 |
Eberex: Make sense So a raven flew at 80km/h nonstop for almost 2 straight days . Or Gendry ran non-stop in heavy snow and inclement weather for 8 straight hours Danaerys flew in the sky for 28 hours straight without stopping to eat or shït. It would have been freezing up there but i can give them a pass to say the Dragon fit get heater. Not a single sentence in that theory makes even a modicum of sense. |
