Watching Wunmi who was born in Nigerian pronounce Akindele as Akindili, made a weird impression.

It's a 4 part drama about a murdered schoolgirl of Nigerian origin. It's on Channel 4. The plot, story and acting is fantastic, but as usual the Nigerian accents are terrible. The bits where they speak Yoruba as just cringe af. I don't know why they can't just hire actual Nigerians for these roles...
