Who cares about the corruptions in Serie A?? Fact is the Serie A was a big deal in dat time period producing 2 UCL winners and a number of Semi-Final finishes. Zlatan was busy dominating the league in three different Serie A teams while his was happening. Whether Rooney would ve dominated the Serie A as well in that time frame still remains a mystery.

U people keep saying Zlatan plays against weaker opposition. Who cares?? He's 34 and he's still scoring goals for fun. Rooney is 30 and he cant even control the ball properly. Rooney has played a number of small teams this season. Swansea?? Norwich?? Newcastle?? Middlesborough?? etc.. How many goals has he scored??
And yes. I can boldly say it anywhere that Rooney wont amount to nothing in the Ligue 1 in his current state.

Corruption is the reason why Zlatan was stripped of his Seria A medals at Juve btw. Also Seria A has been consistently ranked by UEFA below EPL every year for the last 10 years.

I already stated it b4 that the only thing spoiling Zlatan's track record is his lack of a UCL medal. Other than that, Zlatan is still a better Striker than Rooney. If u were to choose now, would u rather ve Zlatan in ur team or Rooney??

Zlatan obviously....but that was not the point. The only thing in contention here is your statement that 'Zlatan has achieved more than Rooney ever will'.

Zlatan is a career local champion of inferior leagues. Rooney is a multiple champion of a league consistently ranked superior to 3 of the 4 leagues that Zlatan has 'achieved' in. Rooney is also a European Champion.

Zlatan has built his entire career on dominating opposition in relatively weak leagues. Can you genuinely say that Rooney in that time period would not dominate a corruption-ridden Serie A? Or Rooney wont be one of the top scorers in France even in his current washed up state?

That missing UCL medal is extremely important because that is where most pundits agree that Zlatan always went missing. I mean seriously, who wouldn't score in Ligue Un? PSG are already leading the league by like 20 points...

Lol I read the article this morning.

The author has some form on this particular subject.

At the start of the season, he wrote a previous article also seeking to portray Jose as being on the darkside of football dichotomy, and claiming that Jose still defined himself and his success in relation to Barcelona.

I found the article informative, but very biased in his portrayal of events. Even though most of the quotes from former players and colleagues mention Jose in a positive light, the author's agenda was to cast Jose as a villain.

That's alright by me though. Jose IS a bit of a villain though...but he was OUR villain...

And I think that that's what we loved the most about him.

Or maybe Jose's tactics are stale and have been found out by those teams. It happened to Klopp last season in Dortmund. This time last year they were bottom of the Bundesliga. The same players he bought were losing games not because of betrayal or some conspiracy like Mourinho would want to believe but because his tactics were stale.

Or Maybe Klopp overachieved with his Dortmund team and their real level was 18th place in Bundesliga

I don't watch bayernliga so I don't know...but I think that maybe the fact that one team kept stealing Klopp's best players had something to do with it...

Bournemouth was an anomaly. They scored from corner not from overrunning our midfield as everyone else has done.

The others all have more stable midfield than us defensively.

Unless you are willing to bet your balls that Kurt Zouma walks into Leicester, West Ham or Evertons midfield, THAT IS A FACT!

Lets get one thing straight. . .

A team does not drop to 16th in the table just because players are unhappy with the behaviour of the manager. . . there are clear structural and tactical issues which compounded with the players unhappiness brought us to this position.

An unhappy team does not concede 3 goals a game when it has Makelele, Ballack, Essien, Lampard sitting in front of the defence. Even a normal able bodied midfield would prevent the disaster we have witnessed eg Meireles, Tiago Motta or any midfielders that can do the basics.

A team that relies on the wingers to do its defending in the absence of a solid midfield will drop to 16th and that is a structural issue excarcebated by the players unhappiness.

Case in point. . .

Chelsea team under AVB were in open revolt against the manager.

Lampard said he didnt get on with AVB and AVB doesnt play him. Ashley Cole and Drogba clearly hated the manager.

Alex and Anelka openly challenged the manager and AVB SACKED them from the club mid-season which all their teammates were unhappy about.

Any issues you think players had with Jose pales into insignificance compared to the open war between AVB and his players.

This was a clear and open revolt against the manager, yet that team never dropped below 6th on the table despite CLEAR animosity between the players and the manager.

Half of Real Madrid team were at open war with Jose in his last season, yet they finished 2nd.

So anybody that tries to reduce Chelsea problems this season to simply player unhappiness is being facetious. There is a clear structural weakness we have all seen in the midfield especially which contributed greatly to where we are. A structural weakness we had to use Kurt phucking Zouma to plug for half of last season due to lack of stable midfielders!

Infact I fully believe we could have arrested our slide somewhat if the right midfield was in place.

Nobody said that there aren't any other problems...BUT...look at our performance in our last game and compare to the performance in any other game this season...

Are you genuinely saying that Bournemouth has a better midfield than Chelsea? Or Leicester even with Kante? Or West Ham? Or Everton?

I can understand if we were losing to big teams with Vastly superior midfields, but saying that we lost to Bournemouth's midfield of Arter, Gosling and co is itself an exercise in facetiousness...

Rumours of players not liking the system they play in and the ultra defensive football surfaced last season. People ignored.

Players like Remy will not believe what they have to do to play. Especially when he sees a dead Falcao barely able to trap the ball. Imagine all the players who felt Ivanovic should be dropped. Even fans could see it. Jose persisted. If this irked ordinary fans, how about players?

Many stupid things he did that I cannot begin to count, no time!

What we are annoyed about, is how far the players were willing to go to show that they didn't like the manager...

If the club gets relegated at the end of the season, Hazard, Fabregas and costa will still end up at UCL clubs next season while the club and the fans continue to pick up the pieces.

In situations like this, the easier solution is to sack the manager and keep the players happy.

But for a club that has been trying to move on to a long term strategy\manager, what kind of message does that send to the players?

If you don't like your manager, play rubbish and we'll replace him?
So what happens when the maybe Hazard and Costa don't like each other? Who gets fired?

The board should have backed the manager with more time and heavily in the transfer market, to prove that dissenting players will not be tolerated.

The players are paid handsomely to do a job. They are not being paid to make friends.

Make no mistake about it, these players just called the club's bluff, and the club blinked first.

A wonderful opportunity for the club to assert its authority over unprofessional players now looks to have been lost forever...

Any top manager that takes the hotseat at Chelsea dey gawk himself...

1. Avram Grant took over mid season and reached the CL final for the first time in Chelsea history

3. Di matteo took over mid season and won the CL title for the first time in Chelsea history

4. Benitez took over mid season and won the Europa League title which was another first in Chelsea history
