nateevs: 3 in 3. Talk about hitting the ground running. I was looking at the stats as well...prior to tonight, he created quite a few chances as well....and all his attempts came in the box Ruthless finishing, ghostly movement, and an altruistic nature.... Reminds of Benzema in his prime... |

raumdeuter: Fabregas allegiance to Arsenal, RvP allegiance to Arsenal (both club captains), Owen allegiance to Liverpool(Club captain), Silvestre's allegiance to Man Utd, Tevez allegiance to man Utd, Sol Campbel(Spurs Captain)
All these didnt stop transfers between rivals
But Alonso who isnt a Liverpool youth, Who isnt English, who spent just 5yrs in Anfield, who has gone to Madrid afterwards I just confuse for the paddy.... Dahdemola is just in shock that his club missed out on what could have been an effective short term solution to their well documented central midfield problems |

Mourinho insists he remains open-minded to the possibility of Costa featuring at Goodison Park but revealed his £30 million man has missed two days of training with the injury.
"He is a big doubt, let's see," the Chelsea boss told reporters. "Everyone else is fit.
"We are trying everything for him to play [on Saturday]. He didn't train for the last two days. Today is the last day.
"We have to try and see if the reaction is positive. If the reaction is positive, we take him and select him on the bench." Best case scenario, Costa makes the bench |

SirShymex: But lyrically, was Biggie better than AZ?
Heck, a lot of rap heads and critics believe he was lyrically better than Nas back then - and Nas will always be better than Biggie. Nas has never been and will never be better than biggie IMO Illmatic was Nas's magnum opus that was rightly lauded when it dropped in 94 mainly for the way he changed the game then. Other than that, what other album or mixtape from his considerable body of work can be compared to biggie's 2 albums quality wise. Remember biggie was crowned the king of NY when Nas should have been at the peak of his career. |
Music/Radio › Re: Female Rappers That Made My Childhood: Have They Retired? by Nihilist: 3:10pm On Aug 28, 2014 |
SirShymex: Yes - but that wasn't even a competition. Junior M.A.F.I.A stood no chance: rapper for rapper, and bars for bars. AZ alone had more bars than Biggie - sad he never really made it in the mainstream. His verse on "Life's a Biitch" is still the greatest hip hop verse ever to me - and he was like 18 or 19 when he dropped it.
And you've got Nas, and Nature. Foxy Brown shiits on Lil Kim everyday of the week! Queens run circles around Brooklyn!
Erm, AZ and Foxy are from BK but I gotta cede The Firm to Queensbridge. AZ was underrated and unfortunately denied the spotlight by Nas's shade but it's disgraceful to compare him to Biggie lyrically |

Now I'm sober after getting high on manure's misery last night...
I seriously suspect that last night's game was sabotaged.
With no European commitments, and several players coming back from injury/lack of pre-season, last night's game should have been a perfect game to get these players(RVP especially) some important game time.
I think LVG threw the game solely to reduce the number of competing fronts for united. Nobody rates the league cup anyway, and it suggests that the EPL/Champions League Push is his prime target |
