If you dig well enough, you will find that everyone has said something about someone/something they should quite rightly distance themselves from. In my own case, like Diggz so desperately likes to make all see, I did say Morata was not a striker. What he doesn't tell you in the same vein, is that I made that statement almost 18 months ago (he was just over 22) when I didn't consider him a good striker but I never doubted his ability as a footballer.

What happened between then and before he signed, is that I watched countless Morata videos and understood what he was all about. I changed my mind. And I was the most vocal about Morata on this thread before he signed, when he signed and even after he first played in PS and was considered rubbish. I made numerous positive comments in defence of Morata.

There is nothing wrong with changing one's mind. Everyone has a right to it and anyone is welcome to switch positions. I think I speak for all when I say though, that there is a code of moral conduct, though implicitly agreed, one nonetheless, that when you switch positions, it should be publicly declared. I think.

Remain a doubter if you so wish. Or a believer if you please. Heck you can even be undecided. But declare where you stand. What you shouldn't do is like when the trail is good and throw shades at the earliest sign of a stumble.

So yeah, I did say Morata is not a striker but I was calling the odds for Chelsea signing Morata over Lukaku and stating my preference for him, long before he was signed.

Those that looked down on Morata have not done anything wrong. Those who continued to find something wrong even when Alhaji was playing well and tucking goals in are the problem. What is more surprising is them claiming support for Morata at the exact same time they are slagging him off.

They need to let us know where they stand.

I'm firmly in the Team-Lukaku-Proving-Nateevs-and-Timbros-Wrong Camp.
