ifyeez: Let me tell you why I believe he did something, when I told him the amount I wanted, I was inside my car counting the money I wanted to pay him from, so immediately he started pumping, I wanted to come down to check the metre again, buh when I stood up, he was showing me something, like something fell from my car, and when I looked and saw nothing, he pretended like he wasn't talking to me, I believe that was when he did what he did, buh no problem, I will go back there tomorrow to buy that same amount of fuel, I want to confirm his tricks, and I must buy from that same guy. We learn everyday, will gist you tomorrow What he would have done is sell to someone maybe he or she brought 1000 or 700 then he won't start afresh he will continue from there and sell to you or option two they have tried that very well with me. When they ask you how much and they input the figure, they start selling ensure you ain't looking and press a particular button that shows how much you wanted to buy and you would assume he has finished selling the fuel to you. The last attendent to try it, I didn't even check I waited for him, there is a button that looks like X some it's like a circle with X, I wanted to buy 6K fuel, he sold up to 4575 and pressed the button to show 6k. I told him to press the button to show last sales and I must see it, when he pressed it I saw 4575, told him to call his manager he kept claiming nothing was wrong, then he knew I understood and he started begging and it was a pos transaction and I had receipt of what I paid for since he refused to call his manager told him to fill up my tank or I will wait for the manager. He filled up my tank and it was extra 5k fuel. Never went back to that station again. |

Fahrenz: The net earnings on taxify I posted above are for a period of 9 weeks ending today. Uber has no format similar to taxify so I had to manually calculate my earnings on uber for the past 9weeks.
Bear in mind that full 3 months is 12 weeks
Total net earnings for 9 weeks on uber and taxify = 1,006,381 Ojigbijigbi 1m in less than three months ha mo ti lo go slow ni o. Meanwhile it's a diet. |

pipz: A friends wife just arrived at my place from Nigeria to give birth here in the US. She’s not due not until mid January but she was surprisingly given only 30 days to be in the country at the airport after she was asked what is her purpose here which she told them she came to have proper medical care to give birth. She had earlier been here about 2 months ago with her husband Which they stamped them 6 months stay. They 30 days stay is not even enough time for her to put to bed. She didn’t notice this on her passport not until when she got to my place so she went back to the airport and the immigration officials said there’s nothing they can do about it. Please, any advice of what she can do in this situation. Thanks I think she should see the appropriate department to discuss this issue, she should also seek her doctor and lastly I doubt she would be fit to fly in early January. |

KaraDanvers: Here's the story, I applied online two weeks before my trip. I didn't get any acknowledgement. Waited for a few days and hubby called since he's in Nigeria. They said they have technical challenges or upgrades. That we should send the letter 4 days later. We waited but didn't still get the acknowledgement. Called again and they said technical upgrades. That if we know someone in Abuja the person can bring the hard copy documents to the HQ.
My sister in law took the hard copy documents to the HQ and someone was demanding 10k from her! Imagine? I am really angry right now. I spoke angrily to her that the visa on arrival application letter is free. She now went to meet someone else at the top who reaffirmed that the letter is free and directed her on who to submit her application to. She was asked to pick it up in the morning.
It seems like a ploy to delay the VOA letter to few days before you leave in order to drive you to desperation. The annoying thing is that those particular useless Immigration officers be comparing the 10k to the cost of shifting your airline ticket to bow you into submission. This is unacceptable.
So my advise to anyone applying for VOA with hard copy. When you arrive just tell them to direct you to where you will drop the applications. DO NOT drop a dime. Please don't spoil this fight against bribery and corruption. Let us stop feeding this monster. Please.
Vgil100 I went through the same thing |

KaraDanvers: I am still trying to get a hang on it myself. I've sent an email with the following information
The Comptroller General Nigeria Immigration Service Nigeria Immigration Service Head Quarters Abuja.
APPLICATION FOR VISA ON ARRIVAL
I wish to apply for Visa on Arrival for my infant son. His details are as stated below:
Name:
Passport number:
Address:
Date of Arrival:
Port of Entry:
Airline:
Please find required documents attached: His passport bio, my passport bio, hubby's passport bio, travel itinerary.
I've still not gotten any acknowledgement and this is the 2nd time I've sent this mail. I called and they said I still have plenty time but the lack of mail acknowledgement troubling. Does it take up to 24hrs to get an acknowledgement? When is the trip back, they usually tell you to apply for a visa if it's far it simply send mail acknowledged. I advice you use Gmail or yahoomail only. |

KaraDanvers: Good day all. Please I am having a bit of a challenge with the Visa on Arrival letter.
1. Should I fill the letter, scan and upload it to my email? 2. Is it necessary to include hubby's international passport biodata page as well as mine?
Thanks a lot for all your help. Good evening, 1. You can type, print, sign and then scan the letter or you simply type the letter and send via email. 2. Hubby's international passport biodata page must be attached also. Good luck with your application. |
