Don't know why I am always prone to feverish fantasies.

Actually, I am trying ma hands on a fight animation. Its a first for me. Inspired mostly by going via Reidkrugs thread. I won't have hi hopes for this , since its my first foray into creature animation. I expect to break all d laws woefully and Make Pixar send assassins after me..lol

So its going to be a lotta drunken walk cycle, thumping, Creature screams and fist cuffs.

let's see who wins. By the way, I learnt a new rigging process.

Actually, I have two projects running concurrent. This fight scene and a tracked scene that would involve me letting Incubi climb over my hand and leap onto the monitor of my workstation. This particular scene was shot with a Gionee mobile.

What I did not do with these x a facial Rig... Which x bad. But I have an expressive mouth controls anyway

He sent one his best Commanders, Imperator Dreadlocks, to fight Incubi.
The guy, unfortunately, could not stand the subtle pollens floating in Earthz atmosphere. He constantly sneezes but still looks lethal.

Lord Anonymos heard about my adoption of Incubi and the powers that he/she had and decided to take a fight to my door steps.... lol

@lofty, I use mainly 4 software

Blender: Character apparels, Environ layout, Hair, Water and Rendering
Maya: Rigging and Now Animation
Zbrush: Major Sculpting and wrinkles
Substance Painter : Painting job.

hi Femarse, Sometimes while learning a tutorial its best you do as u are told.....believe me, trying to know what each button do atimes can deviate u from d fun,

I will suggest you go to blenderguru.com
that's where almost all begineers start in their journey with blender. Andrew x super good.

Modeling a Cup x super boring...low but its necessary. U will learn d basics and interface with it. Next for you should be a coiled rope. Try to do it this way and you would leap.

That's how I work, u learn a simple task and jump headlong into a not so simple task. Blenderguru has a nice tutorial on how to make a coiled Rope. try it.

Just via with Rigging. I am now tracking and waiting to Animate . My first creature animation would be this .

I like ur interface and the general flow of your prototype Mr kanayo. I have tried it and it feels like a Blend of Nl and one other social media that I can't easily place my finger on

I wish u could dev a masonry gallery for 3d artists on it.

well, all of ya should just up una games and stop crying about softwares been expensive. There are torrents of these softwares

and like someone said... Any serious vfx techie should veer off Aftereffects. That thing x just a waste of interest and time.

We should strive to up the standards and not forever complain about phcn, cost of software, or that Hollywood is intellectually superior.

And A Mentor told me that the best way to get the interest of a producer is to arrange to do a vfx shot for him/her free. He said (hes the the co-founder of The Mill vfx house) that he and his co-artistes started out by offering their services free to top notch/upcoming producers. They put in their very best and the films got the bucks. With the success of the films, these producers came back asking for more and that was when they Cut (the Producers) Neck with Prize.
In these scenerio, the producers got no other option than to pay the money because they knew that these guys were good.

And we keep complaing about PHCN as a hindrance. Why? I dont seeit as enough reason to deter one. I paid a visit to Bangalore in the not too distant past and there were power cuts and Bangalore is an important hub of most IT and CGI outsourcing houses in India. Did they cringe and bemoan their own PHCN failures....I dont think so. They all possess Standby good old Gens.

Digikore Studios (an Idian VFX house) also had a similar growth pattern like The Mill House. They first started out as 5-6 members, approached some producers, did jobs free and perfectly for these producers and now Hollywood is even contracting them

And one thing that is working for these Indians is there super ability to collaborate on a project. There are no Tin Gods in theeir midst unlike here where someone would learn how to model a cup r move sometin along the x axis and immediately considers himself an intergalactic CG god.

We should all F.ucking Man-up and start working

Though I said i won't rigg this Guy/Gurl...I've changed me mind.

I will test my animation skills wt him/her. Make IC jump from a tree and chase.

I will, must, integrate it into a Live shot.

- I aim to combine biped with quadruped rig systems.
- Do Geometry tracking with Nuke (live action shot)
- Make belts and buckles (major aim)
- Animate

My little Incubus Chicken is gradually taking shape and had signed a contract with a modeling Firm. Watch out for him in Vogue or Vanity fair.

A little bio on Incubus Chicken

He was found along an estuary near the banks of River Omambala. A three yr old, abandoned intersex heterodont.

We discovered that the morphology is well suited for wading via swamps and estuaries (hence, the specimen's almost webbed feet) but can easily adapt to terrestrial habitats though.

High Cranium suggests an above par intelligence for the rest of he/she/it's species (mind u , the specimen is intersex) but Incubus Chicken is an Idiot Savant.

Excellent with complex binary calculations but cant differentiate between primary and secondary colors.
And he/she/it is always afraid of ultra violet light.

His/Her/it's eye sight is much keener at night than the daytime.

Incubus Chicken also could develop multiple personalities when it comes to role play.




Diet
IC is an Omnivore and likes Children.
We have subjected IC to mainly vegetarian food with an occassional Liver thrown in. The Burundian govt is keen on signing in on as the official 'Criminal Corpse Eater' (it could mean lots of much needed cash for us) but we are still indecisive on IC taken that role.
