JTF needs the prayer of every Nigerians against demons from hell who are relentless in their ungodly acts of wanton destruction of human lives.I will greatly appreciate if the military can be posting some the pix of killed and captured boko boys.We would like to watch executions of these prisoners of war.We want to see.

A semester is lost.Parents and students are tired of staying at home.I wish the govt will see this post and apply my candid opinion to stop this perennial scourge.

The Federal Govt should the governors forum and advice all state governors to register their state own universities as ASSOCIATION OF STATE OWN UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA.Their counterpart shall be called ASSOCIATION OF FEDERAL UNIVERSITIES OF NIGERIA.The private universities do not need an umbrella of association.The federal govt can then go ahead and disband ASUU and give all striking federal universities lecturers an ultimatum of seven days to return to work.Failure to comply will lead to summary dismissal.The govt should run recruitment adverts for replacement and am sure that those vacuum will be filled.

The student body under NANS should come out with terms condemning the strike and supporting the Federal govt.

Many believe that politics is a dirty game that may not be healthy for Christians who are heaven-bound.Some schools of thought believe that for you to be a successful and accomplished politician in Nigeria you must be fetish and be ready to dine with the devil and forget Christ.Beause of this many spirit filled believers shy away from politics saying we shall be praying for them.some pastors even discouraged their members from aspiring for political posts saying its a dirty terrain that will rub them of heaven.

What is your take on this cos i seem to hold similar opinion.

i suffered a great persecution.I lost my job in the Borno State as a lecturer in 1995 after repeated warnings.I lost several job opportunities.I lost my better half many years later when I was actively doing the work of God.A woman I met lost seven grown up sons and she told me that was the worst the devil can do to her that heaven is her goal.Real believers suffer for him and that ts the message of the cross.Today the cross is despised by men who are given to falsehood.We all must carry our crosses which signified pains.Christ also suffered leaving for us an example.God is glorified when believers suffer for Christ sake even to the point of death.

The work of God has to do with calling.Those who have genuine calling do not accept the call easily because of its attendant challenges and eternal consequences.Even with the manifestation of the gifts of the spirit in ur life there is still a time for everything.some of these nollywood pastors enter the ministry because nollywood is dead and no more business as usual.Many are called but few are chosen.Only time shall tell.

Are Nigerians so gullible?SHEKAU IS DEAD.I believe that they have a new leader they are not willing to make public.If he is still alive then I will surrender myself for three strokes of cane by any NL publicly.The federal govt must investigate this claim by daily trust ASAP.

Before closing for day I was alarmed when my student told me that "Sir, baba has not heard about the incidence".She was referring to her 98years grandpa who is the General oversee of the church.I asked she "Why?" And she covered her mouth with both hands and said baba may die.

she told me that the baby had been ill for sometime.The baby's parents asked that she be buried in the church premises.It wasnt only the pastor
who buried the child and that it has caused the church a lot of embarrassments .I wish you could see her sobbing,'Sir, what the paper reported was an incomplete report because the man involved is my dad'.She agreed that a neighbour actually saw the burial but it was just a normal burial but the hour was wrong.she is a very good girl in school and I believe her version because immediately she came to my office and saw me on NL, on the topic, she said 'Sir I am aware of this story'.I asked her "what story?". And she said the one on your laptop and she began the explanation.I am her college principal.

Same happend two years ago at oremeji street in Ilasa where an unarmed and young igbo guy rescued an old woman and her daughter from an inferno and died in the bath.It was a story building and the fire which many believed was caused by an electrical fault started in the night.No one could go near the fire but this guy went and rescued the old woman and her granddaughter by removing the AC compartment and pushing them out.I wonder if God could give me the grace to do such.RIP Mike.

Officials of the Lagos State Government in conjunction with the police taskforce have arrested four cows and 37 butchers for operating at an illegal slaughter slab at Otto Awori area of Badagry, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

Officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, with the taskforce, stormed the area on Tuesday and arrested the cows and suspects.

Four vans of butchered meat were also carted away to the Taskforce office at Alausa where the suspects would be arraigned in court. The four cows were taken to Agege Abattoir.

Chairman of the illegal butchers, Adewunmi Olaseun, said they normally slaughter about 20 cows on daily basis, adding that they also pay N18,000 levy to officials of the Lagos State Government and N5,000 to the Otto Awori Local Council Development Area, LCDA, on weekly basis.

He said the association did not know that they were operating at an illegal slaughter slab.

Olaseun said the meat being sold by the butchers was not contaminated, stressing that “the fact is that we also consume the meat at times. So, there is nothing wrong with the meat. We consume it. Our wives also consume it, so it is safe for consumption. We have the receipts of the payment made to the government in our office.”

When asked why they attacked government officials with charms, he said: “The charms on us were to protect us against armed robbers. We deal with money and we can’t allow robbers to kill us just like that. So, it is meant for protection against robbers.”

Another butcher, Ogundele Opeloyeru, said they had been operating in the area for the past 15 years, while corroborating his colleague’s statement that they pay weekly levy to the state government and Otto Awori LCDA.

“We are not aware that we operate illegal slaughter slab,” he said.

Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture and Co-operatives, Mr Nuraini Funso denied that government officials collect money from the illegal butchers.

“There are certified veterinary doctors in the entire registered and approved abattoirs in the state and there is a lot of danger in patronising illegal slaughter slabs. The state government is doing enough to eradicate illegal slaughter slabs and abattoirs in the state .

“Residents had been equally warned to desist from patronising unregistered and unapproved abattoir. The state is very must concerned about the health of individuals in the state. We can’t afford to allow Lagosians to consume meat that are not screened. They are not just ready to change. We have about eight slaughter slabs and over 200 refrigerated meat vans. They are just concerned about their pockets,” he explained.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Dr. Yakub Bashorun said government has declared zero tolerance for unwholesome meat distribution in the state, lamenting that those who operate illegal slaughter slabs do so without obtaining license from the government.

“They don’t have veterinary doctors to ascertain the health status of the animals before slaughtering them. They have been creating nuisance and we have to dislodge them. Ignorance is no excuse. They know they are operating illegal abattoir,” he stated.

Bashorun appealed to Lagosians not to patronize illegal slaughter slabs to purchase meat as such meat was not healthy for consumption.

He said those arrested would be arraigned in court and that they would be made to face the music to serve as deterrent to others.
