PoliticsThis May Be Peter Obi's Last Chance by nikky5(op): 11:33am On Mar 10, 2023
THIS IS OBI LAST CHANCE

Sure, this is Obi's last chance at the Presidential shot. Ask me how?

Providence never beckoned and favoured him to be our president. He was rather used to stop the presidential bid of another Fulani man who wanted to sell off Nigeria. Secondly, Providence used him to wake up our compromising and redundant leaders to do the needful thereby changing the status quo.

It is evident that the southwest will complete their two terms of eight years. It will then be d turn of d north as par rotational agreement. Obi will be 80years old in 16 years!
PoliticsReasons Why Lagosians Will Return Their Governor On 11th March by nikky5(op): 1:36am On Mar 07, 2023
The stakes are high and the political gladiators battling for the soul of Lagos will leave no stone unturned come 11th March, 2023. This is a 'war' between the Labour Party and the All Progressive Party Congress.

If anyone thinks that Lagos will fall to the opposition the second time must be daydreaming.

The initial loss of the ruling party to the LP was a wake up call and blessing in disguise. It was better it happened during the presidential election which has no consequential effects to the victory of asiwaju.

Tinubu is unperturbed neither is the sitting governor losing sleep over the upcoming governorship election in the State. The APC has learned from their previous mistakes.

Gbadebo is unknown to Lagosians even though he came from a family who has no record of achievements either politically or otherwise in Lagos. The fact remains that the devil we know is better than the angel we don't know. Lagos is not a no man's land and this is what the real owners of Lagos want to prove this weekend.

Lagos has a strong historical background and the omoluabis will never allow non Lagosians to dictate who leads their state. It is an affront and insult because this effrontery can never happen in other regions in the country.

While it is true that not all yorubas in Lagos supported the presidential ambition of Tinubu, however they cannot throw away the baby and it's bath water. The yorubas in Lagos have çome to realise that non Lagosians are at the fore front of those trying to impose a governor on them calling their city a no man's land. What an insult!

Of course Tinubu and Sanwolu are two different persons. The thousands who didn't vote for Tinubu will surely vote for Sanwolu. There's a great joy in the Southwest right now over the emergence of Tinubu as president elect. It was the victory of Obi in Lagos that suddenly woke Gbadebo the Yorubas sees as an IPOB apologist. If he claims to be a Lagosian, where's is family compound many are asking.

If anyone thinks that the APC will lose such an important election in Lagos must have his or her brain rechecked.

I am a Lagosian from a very popular family on the Island.

The victory of Sanwolu is sacrosanct and will come as a rude shock to many.

God bless the yorubas!
God bless the omoluabis!
God bless governor Sanwolu!
Eko oni baje o!
PoliticsLagos Guber Race: Reasons Why The Igbos In Lagos Must Return Sanwolu by nikky5(op): 12:35pm On Mar 05, 2023
Like the proverbial saying that " Soldier come, soldier go barracks remain the same," the Presidential election has come and gone and nothing seems to have changed in Lagos. The soul of Lagos will be on the frontline during the next gubernatorial election. The victory of the Labour party during the last Presidential election came as a rude shock to the APC and the entire country because the state is considered to be the political stronghold of Bola Tinubu. As a result of this unprecedented feat, it has served as a moral booster for the Labour party to unseat the current governor of the state during the next governorship election in the State.

Have you asked yourself why Sanwolu deserved to be unseated? What crime has he committed? Has he been hostile to non-Lagosians? Are there non-Lagosians in government parastatals? will Lagosians allow non-indigenes to dictate who rules their state? There are indeed so many questions begging for answers.

It is instructive to note that politics is a game of numbers and has its reward system. If the opposition plotted the fall of Sanwolu who is loved by his people more than the non-indigene fail to unseat the governor, will things ever remain the same again in Lagos? I speak in respect of their relationship and the goodwill they enjoy.

Lagos is never a no man's land. An Hausa man or Igbo man cannot be the Oba of Lagos.

The Igbos in Lagos make up about 30% of the population in Lagos. These industrious people enjoy the goodwill of the people of Lagos and do their businesses unhindered. They own landed properties in Lagos and some of them were born and bred in Lagos. Some of them speak the Yoruba language more fluently than their own dialect. This set of Igbos love the governor and the people of Lagos.

About a week ago, the Ndigbo in Lagos unanimously agreed to vote en masse for the return of governor Sanwolu. These people are endowed with wisdom knowing fully well that come what APC cannot be defeated in Lagos. So, it will be wise for them to support the governor in other to enjoy more goodwill in the State bearing in mind that there is a reward system in the APC government.

I am not a politcian nor a surrogate for the APC. I am a yoruba man from Lagos from a very popular family on the Island.

The truth remains that if these my brothers refuse to support our governor at this crucial time and he returns elected, the governor may decide to relocate their markets to the outskirt of Lagos like Badagry and Epe. he cannot be challenged because Lagos is not a NO MAN'S LAND.

I pray that both the non indigenes and indigenes will support the return of our governor to continue the good works he is doing in Lagos.
PoliticsWhy Labour Party Cannot Win Lagos Gubernatorial Election by nikky5(op): 12:02am On Mar 05, 2023
Lagos undoubtedly fell to the Labour party last Saturday Presidential election for very obvious reasons. Not all yorubas supported the presidential ambition Tinubu. Majority of the Yoruba Christians who formed the majority voted against him. It was not the Igbo votes alone that gave Peter Obi that feat
It was indeed a wake up call to the APC because it was unprecedented. So many igbos were chest beating that they defeated Tinubu in Lagos was laughable. This never affected his victory in any way.

Anyone thinking of a repeat of that victory come 11th March, 2023 during the governorship election must be hallucinating. It's never going to be possible.

First and foremost, Sanwolu is a christian and greatly loved in Lagos. The Muslims also enjoyed his style of leadership and the great work he is doing in Lagos infrastructure wise. He will surely enjoy our bloc votes cos we shall massively vote for him. This will help him to continue the projects that he initiated to the benefits of Lagosians. Lagosians cannot experiment with an unknown candidate.

Another reason the Labour Party cannot capture Lagos is that it's candidate has come to prove to the yorubas that he is a mixed blood. There's a video that has gone viral showing that Gbadebo is a supporter of IPOB. We see him as a full fledged Igbo man who may support IPOB operation in Lagos. Besides, he does not know Lagos neither can he speak the Yoruba language. In all, he is a green horn without any experience to lead a mega city like Lagos.

CAN and the Ndigbo in Lagos has promised Sanwolu their full support during the election. Sanwolu has been very friendly with the Igbo community in Lagos and allows them to do their business without any hindrances. So, why will Sanwolu fall on Saturday?
PoliticsAfter The Presidential Election, What Next? by nikky5(op): 1:24pm On Feb 22, 2023
Countdown to the February 25th Presidential election, the nation seems set for this most important election that have brave the odds. There had been speculations of either a postponement or the enthronement of an interim National government. Last week, the president assured Nigerians that the election will surely hold and he hand over come 29th May, 2023.

So, after the election on Saturday will Nigeria remains the same? Will the results be accepted? Will the result elicit hope or despondency? Will there be qualm and tranquility? What will the security situation look like?

So, we need to pray for our country. The success of this election lies on our hands.
PoliticsTinubu's Winning Strategies Come 25th February Election. by nikky5(op): 10:34pm On Feb 21, 2023
Many Nigerians have hailed the recent demonetization policy of President Buhari. Some belong to the school of thought that President Buhari had parted ways with his benefactor and would throw away the baby and it's bath water come 25th February Presidential election. These uninformed people believed that the APC Presidential flag bearer lack capacity to win any credible election without vote buying. The opposition were hailing and eulogizing the CBN governor and President Buhari on the February 10th deadline for the currency swapping.
Have you asked yourself how much Tinubu paid to the Mammoth crowds that greeted his campaigns especially in all the states he visited? Do you understand what political structures are? Do you think the real voters are social media hypes and netizens?

The nineteen Northern governors unanimously agreed that power must return to the South. That is sacrosant. These governors are closer to the grassroots. Tinubu has perfected his wining strategies immediately he won the primaries. He is very confident that he is going to win the presidential election.

The opposition never knew that the new CBN monetary policy will favour Jagaban. He is not going to buy northern and Western votes. The bloc votes are coming from these regions. The people are eagerly waiting for him to revert this draconian monetary reform.

President Buhari is in full support of Asiwaju right now to take over from him. The APC is a formidable team poised to win this election. Money or no money Providence will surely reward the man who had paid his dues for the enthronement of democracy in Nigeria.

God bless President Buhari
God bless Nigeria
God bless Asiwaju Bola Tinubu
PoliticsNaira Swap: A Blessing In Disguise For Tinubu's Victory In The North by nikky5(op): 10:03pm On Feb 16, 2023
The CBN and FG stance of phasing out the old currency is a big blessing in disguise for Tinubu's victory in d North. The people from that region are no longer complaining about the naira design policy. They are spending both old and new notes with the assurance that Tinubu will change that policy if he wins the presidential election. This is more than vote buying. They will not take their monies to the banks until after May 29th, 2023.
CultureWhich Tribe In Nigeria Is The Most Abusive? by nikky5(op): 7:21pm On Feb 14, 2023
Abusive languages no doubt is in virtually all our languages vocabulary in Nigeria.
I used to think the yorubas are the most abusive in language until lately when I discovered other tribes that are also very abusive.
What's your take on this?

Your daughter must have gone through alot and the skin must have really affected her self esteem.

You would have seen a dermatologist a very long time ago (considering that she is a girl child) and shouldn't have waited this long.

Please take her to a teaching hospital and let a dermatologist see her. Do it fast, your daughter really needs it.
Thanks.

HealthUrgent Help! See My Daughter's Skin by nikky5(op): 3:40pm On Feb 04, 2023
It's been over five years we discovered this skin problem. The doctor told us that it's a fungal infection and it's very stubborn. We have used different types of medications and herbal remedies too. She has never gotten a complete healing. Rather, with herbal remedies it will show signs of recovery for a short period only to get aggravated.

I was advised against seeing a dermatologist that herbal cure remains the only viable solution.
My daughter is 17. I need urgent help to avoid inferiority complex. Thanks.

LiteratureReading Habit Enhancement by nikky5(op): 12:45pm On Nov 20, 2022
It's very true that our youths have a very poor reading habit in our contemporary time. Reading could be fun when it is creative and engaging. I was able to capture my young readers through my humour and comedy books. I sell these books in few private schools in Lagos.I have received several calls from my young readers in their schools wanting to meet me in person. I was able to honour few of the invitations. In some of the schools i visited, the children will often ask, " How were you able to write those funny books?"

The fact remains that I am yet to find any humour and comedy books writers in Nigeria and Africa that will beat my books. I love to entertain children with comical stories that that cracks the ribs. These stories are replete with chilling suspense and didactic too. Often times, i had to advice teachers who will use my books for their pupils and students to maintain a high level of discipline when reading my books in the classroom. It's the funniest books like the children will often say they have ever read.

Adults read these books too. i was once asked to take them to the hospitals for aged patients. It's a very good tonic for relaxation as well as comic relief. I have three on Okadabooks, Amazon, Smashwords, Draft2digital etc. You can contact me via my signature.
BusinessWhat Should Be Done To Revamp Our Economy? by nikky5(op): 4:51pm On Aug 28, 2022
It is very glaring to all and sundry in this country that inflation is almost 20%. This is just too high in a country that has devalued it's currency.

The present government at inception promised to float the sinking economy. The cost of living keep increasing almost on a daily basis. Life has become very unbearable.

Is there anything the incumbent government or any incoming government can do to revamp our economy and strengthen the naira which has been on a free fall?
EducationThe Federal Government Should Proscribe ASUU (opinion) by nikky5(op):
With the current lingering impasse between the Federal government and the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities, in my candid opinion, it is time the Federal government proscribe the union.

It is very clear that the union has never been considerate with the plight of the students. The government stance of no work no pay is justifiable.

The dissolution of the union will bring sanity to our universities. This is the worst strike in our universities. Six months strike has really done unpardonable harm to our children's education.
PoliticsCogent Reasons Why Peter Obi Deserves To Win 2023 Presidential Election by nikky5(op): 12:51am On Aug 23, 2022
I have never been a supporter of Peter Obi until lately when my instincts opened my inner eyes to see reasons why Peter Obi deserves to win this epic election.

The OBIdient movement is a revolutionary movement that has created fears in the camp of the opposition. It's a movement of the Nigerian youths who have suffered untold hardship from a clueless government for more than seven years. Hence, the need for a paradigm change from the old recycled political inarticulate politicians.

The Nigerian youths wants a repeat of the 60s when the youths were at the forefronts of our nation. Indeed, Nigeria was an enviable country among the comity of nations.

A victory for Peter Gregory Obi is indeed a victory that will cut across ethnic and religious divide. It will mark a turning point in our national life. It will be a victory of hope and restoration of lost glory. This I believe is the mantra of the OBIdients.

The emergence of a Peter Obi Presidency will put to rest regional agitation for seccession. This will usher in peace in the South East and encourage foreign investment.

I foresee Peter Obi's government revamping our epileptic economy and the comatose power sector. With the help of Providence, he has all it takes to achieve this feat.

I do not know how far he will deal with the monster of insecurity, but the security forces will be on top of their game.

The victory of Obi will be the beginning of a new dawn of young energetic leaders who will not waste our taxpayers money on medical tourism.

Nigerians will vote personality rather than political parties.

To be candid, every Nigerian including my humble self is tired of this hopeless and rudderless government that has pauperized the citizenry.

It's time to vote out the old men because governance is very rigorous. Vibrancy and intelligence should be the selling point of any candidate at this time.

Peter Obi remains the candidate to beat in this election. A Muslim Muslim ticket could be another time bomb.

Well, you are free to crucify me on my disposition. Another eight years of servitude might be another nightmare.

God bless you all.
PoliticsWhat Will Happen If Tinubu Should Dump Shettima For A Christian? by nikky5(op):
There have been several agitations for a Christian VP for the APC Presidential flagbearer Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Many Nigerians from mostly the Northern and Western blocs didn't subscribe to a Muslim Muslim ticket.

The choice of Shettima by Tinubu came as a result of wide consultation with the relevant stakeholders in the ruling party.

The question now is, what will happen if Tinubu should drop Shettima for a Christian VP? Tinubu knew the anticipated backlashes he will receive for picking the former governor of Borno State as his running mate.

If Tinubu should succumb to this temptation,he will lost the election. There are no northern Christian he can pick for the job that can match Shettima's record and acceptability.

This will give Atiku a walkover victory against the ruling party.
PoliticsWhy Do Political Aspirants Visit Obasanjo? by nikky5(op): 9:26pm On Aug 19, 2022
That has been the norm over the decade. It's commonplace to see these political zealots paying visits to former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Why is this so? What does he tell them? Does baba have the power to influence the winner of any election in Nigeria?
PoliticsNo More Ballot Box Snatching And Election Rigging by nikky5(op): 2:46pm On Aug 16, 2022
THE TRUTH ABOUT THE NEW ELECTORAL LAW:

1. No manual accreditation.

2. No use of incident forms.

3. All accreditation is electronic.

4. Accreditation is Bimodal meaning facial recognition and finger printing.

5. No pre-election cases after conclusion of Elections..

6. No election cases after swearing into office of the winner.

7. All results must be uploaded to INEC official website at the polling units before taking it to ward, constituency, LGA or state collation centers.

8. If the number of votes cast is more than the accredited voters the polling unit result is cancelled.

9. No more agreement between parties to share the remaining ballot papers that were not used.

10. No more massive thump printing and stuffing of ballot boxes. If you like go and steal ballot boxes you are wasting your time. You cannot change the result.

The people's votes are counting now. If you didn't serve the people well when in public office or you are not popular in your political locality, it is advisable to save your money because they will collect your money and vote against you.

End of ballots snatching has come to stay in Nigeria. With the amendment of Nigeria Electoral Act, our votes now counts.

PoliticsWhy Tinubu Is Confident Of Winning The Presidential Election In 2023 by nikky5(op): 3:08pm On Aug 10, 2022
Tinubu remains the candidate to beat come next year 2023 Presidential election. The facts are very glaring and intimidatory to his opponents.

1. Tinubu is the only candidate that has done what no other governor has done in Nigeria. The transformation of Lagos reputed to be the most dirtiest and noisiest city in the world to a megacity is a case study. He introduced the Single Treasury Account which the Federal government borrowed a cue from.

2. He is a kingmaker and raiser of champions.

3. His party which is the ruling party has political structures across the entire federation.

4. The BAT Train is a Tsunami. APC will win the election by a very wide margin across the federation.

5. He has travelled wide mending fences where required and consulted with the major stakeholders. He has done his homework.

Other contestants cannot match his credentials. He has paid his dues to enthrone democracy in Nigeria. He is healthy, intellectual and has the capacity to rebirth the new Nigeria of our dream.
