Web2020:I don't think so. It's the clueless OBIDIENTS. They are the ones pushing him against his wish. |
Felabrity:You think so? Not all battles are worth fighting. Thanks. |
I sincerely hope and pray that anyone close to the Labour Party Presidential aspirant Peter Obi will read and advice him accordingly. Please help me to tell him that: 1. He has a very bad irredeemable case of a lost mandate. There's no precedence to this. 2. Court cases are not free and he should stop waisting his time and resources to pursue a case that will last several years as an exercise in futility. 3. He should accept the verdict of the electoral umpire and congratulate the winner of the 2023 Presidential election. 4. Requesting for seven weeks to produce witnesses at the election tribunal shows that he is not serious with this clout chasing. 5. Nigerians from all tribes loves him and would wish him another shot again in four years' time. That's if Tinubu failed to perform as president. 6. The judgement of the Supreme Court in favour of Adeleke has destroyed his chances of winning this mandate challenge. It's not a stolen mandate. It's a lost mandate. Please whoever will tell him this should be more emphatical about this. 7. Nigerians will benefit from his entrepreneur expertise by joining the team of government of unity of the incoming government. |
I was very surprised at the recent call of the Ohaneaze Indigbo worldwide for the release of Nnamdi Kanu as a parting gift of the outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari. Nnamdi Kanu in his wildest imagination knew all along that his arch enemy will be the last person to grant him a pardon. Buhari is a soldier and has spoken to the coward in the language in he will understand. It is on good authority that this man committed a treasonable offense that bordered on terrorism. He is a leader of the proscribed IPOB which has been labelled a dangerous terrorist organization seeking to secede from Nigeria. While he was outside the country, he called the sitting president a clone from Sudan and Nigeria a zoo. He coordinated a lot of attacks against the military who come to the South East. He also threatened President Buhari but the Jubril el Sudan must take his pound of flesh. Having violated the Terrorism Prevention Act 2013, he was granted bail but later jumped the bail to spew trash and threats against the Nigerian State. Tinubu has had no hand in his matter since the case was initiated before his swearing-in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Let the Supreme Court decide his fate otherwise, there will be grave consequences if the incoming President should veto the release of the Coward Terrorist for the following reasons: 1. It will amount to a betrayal of trust Tinubu. 2. Nnamdi Kanu will never drop the BIAFRA agitation as this may further worsen the security situation in the South East. The combo of Kanu and Simon Ekpa will boost the morale of the IPOBs to continue the carnage in the southeast and the call for the BIAFRAN nation. It will be a call for ANARCHY and WAR! 3. This will amount to ridicule of the judiciary 4. No Nigerian president has any grudge against the South East, but it’s a case against an individual whose action has caused so much pain to the people of the Southeast. 5. It may set a bad precedent for the emergence of terrorist organizations in Nigeria. I am glad the Federal government has pressed new charges at the Supreme Court against the enemy of the Nigerian State. No nation in the world will release such an endangered specie called Nnamdi Kanu. |
The recent judgement by the Supreme Court in declaring Adeleke as the authentic winner of Osun governorship election has finally dashed the Labour Presidential flagbearer's hope at the Apex court. Same is applicable to the PDP. The PDP and LP are currently challenging the validation of the ruling party during the February 25th Presidential election at the Elections Tribunal. In the kitty of Peter Obi's legal team is this decider which is their strongest defense against the APC victory as announced by the electoral umpire, the INEC. That decider is the real time electronic transmission of results to the INEC's Irev servers. During the last judgement by the supreme Court that validated the victory of Adeleke in Osun State, the Apex court ruled that it was not compulsory or constitutional for INEC to transmit the polls result electronically. This has become a reference for the APC legal team. It is very glaring that the 25% of the Federal Capital votes and drugs issues has been laid to rest. So, what next will the opposition contend against. Could this be the case of a lost mandate? |
The elections have come and but there are palpable tensions with the sitting of the Election Tribunal to validate or adjudicate on election matters. Both the PDP and LP are accusing the ruling party, the APC of stolen mandate. It will be a legal fireworks between the PDP and LP versus the INEC and APC. The INEC will have to defend their results the Presidential election on the front burner. Is it a case of a lost or stolen mandate? This is one important issue the courts will decide. It is widely believed that elections lost on the presidential level is a LOST MANDATE. It's IRREDEEMABLY LOST. We have had few cases the Supreme Court reversed the lower courts judgement or upheld at the state level. Can the Supreme Court set a precedence at the Presidential level? |
The elections have come and gone. In Nigeria, the final arbiter of elections are the courts. In 1993, the court stopped the swearing in of that epic election which MKO Abiola was widely accepted as the winner. It's now 30 years and the election tribunal is inundated with electoral matters awaiting adjudication. The opposition seem hell bent on stopping the inauguration of the 2023 winner of the Presidential election. Can 1993 repeat itself? Can any court stop this much awaited swearing in of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? |
GreyLaw:Why not write a rebuttal to the topic. Do not take it personal please. Obi is our brother and not an enemy. I love him too. |
Peter Obi was the Presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party. The former Anambra State governor made a triumphant entry into the three-horse race. Obi was very strategic in his election bid for the highest executive office in the land. He was able to change the status quo and gave the ruling party a run for their money by winning States like Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Unfortunately, the youths' sensation came a distant third as announced by the INEC. Obi's loss at the polls was indeed a blessing in disguise to all Nigerians. That was Providence's answer to our collective prayers for the emergence of the right leaders who will bring succor to our country. Barely twenty-four hours to the Presidential election, nearly all his state party chairmen had cried out to the world that he was not going to win the presidential election. These people accused him among others of nepotism. That was a serious allegation. Peter Obi shocked Nigerians during one of his interviews when he averred that the proscribed terrorist IPOB were gentlemen. He never condemned the nefarious activities of these blood mongers who had killed and maimed many security men and innocent people in the South East. These same terrorists boasted in several videos that went viral on social media that the elections will not hold in the South East. However, the elections were conducted and Obi won both the South East and the South-South. It was indeed a political permutation that the emergence of Obi as the next President will help the actualization of the Biafra Republic. In my candid opinion, if Peter Obi had won this election, the elders of Igboland will prevail against him to drop the charges Nnamdi Kanu is currently facing in court and set him free. The release of Nnamdi Kanu as a free man will no doubt change the polity. As the Commander in chief of the Armed forces with all the machinery of power at his disposal, the fear of the balkanization of Nigeria may be rife. The Biafran agitation and agenda will become a topmost priority for the IPOB. The unity of Nigeria may no longer be guaranteed under this man who does not believe that the IPOBs are terrorists nor condemn their carnage. Under these circumstances, Nigeria may have compromised her unity. This may be the reason why God stopped this man which many had adjudged to be honest and good with sterling leadership qualities to win this all important election. I have no personal beef against Peter Obi, just that his position on the IPOB calls for great caution because a stitch in time saves nine. The unity of Nigeria is not negotiable. Just my candid opinion anyway. I expect the reprimands and bashings but the truth must be told. |
There have been many unfounded speculations over the media as regards the arrest and detention of the Labour Party Presidential flagbearer Peter Obi in the UK during the Easter holiday. One narrative had it that he was a victim of identity theft. Obi is a former state governor in Nigeria with no diplomatic immunity. Just recently, news make the round that the UK government tendered an apology to Peter Obi over his arrest and detention. This claim has been rebutted by the UK government. Thanks to the Nigerian government that came for his release. The request by the Premium Times to the UK government to clarify Obi's arrest and detention has been turned down. We have no one to tell us the grilling drama between Peter Obi and the UK immigration officials. What was his offence and what did they ask him? Is there something that Peter Obi does not want the world to hear? Peter Obi is a man of integrity. He should come clean and clear doubts in the minds of people who are insinuating the unimaginable. He should grant a press conference on his arrest and detention. |
The elections have come and gone. It is apparent that the people are still angry over the outcome. In every election, not everybody wins. However, a winner must emerge. No election is perfect all over the world but this 2023 elections in Nigeria has cause some sleeplessness. Right now the election tribunals are sitting to adjudicate over petitions. The buck stops here and life must continue. We pray for both a paradigm shift and change from the old narrative. No man is born perfect but our collective prayers and attitude can bring the desired change. |
Nigerians have accused the duo of Peter Obi of being economical with the truth, especially during interviews. There have been cases where some information given by him has been debunked. Lai Mohammed has been accused of the same allegation. Some believe he is supporting his paymasters. They are not liars as that may sound derogatory. Anyone can choose to be economical with the truth. Most of us are guilty of this. So, which of them has been more economical with the truth? |

Have you noticed that these dreadlock children are not common in the Pentecostal churches. You will hardly see Muslims wearing the dreadlocks. Are the normal children? Yes and NO. These children are convenanted. Most of these churches where they are born have dealings with the water spirits and the name of the one that give seekers children is called ' Dada. ' The dreadlocks cannot be shaved until a specified period. Sacrifices must be offered before they are shove. No matter how unkempt the hair may look, the carrier cannot be shaved without following specific instructions. In most cases they are male children. |
Not all pastors are neither born again nor knew who Jesus is. I am a proselyt who had an unforgettable encounter with Jesus Christ. I was a Muslim when He came to me and spoke with me. He called me and gave me evidence of my encounter and prove of my calling in the miracle ministry. Of course, as a Christian, we are told to be Christ like not only in the church but in the public. He said " Let your light shine so that men will see and glorify God." Apostle Paul said we are the epistle that men read. It's not about quoting d Bible cos Satan and his Minister's also knows the Bible. Satan quoted the scriptures to Jesus during the temptation of Jesus. Jesus said by their fruits, you will know them. It was in my first year after my encounter that God showed me His crucifixion. It was in the afternoon when I returned home from the campus. I saw the Roman Soldiers and the thieves on the cross. I heard them speaking a language I didn't understand. The atmosphere of the world was dark like when the clouds gather for a heavy downpour. I saw everything about His death on that cross. I was singing in an unknown tongue and getting the interpretation at the same time. Suddenly, I screamed and jumped off my bed. The Roman soldiers were nailing Him. God returned me back to the trance to continue watching the video of the crucified and Resurrected Savior. Prior to this time, I didn't believe that He was actually crucified because of my former religious beliefs. I saw Him hanging on that cross looking very battered and disfigured. I also saw the crown of torn on His Head. It was indeed horrendous and frightening. Jesus died. I saw the two thieves crucified with Him hanging on their crosses but not as battered as Jesus. I wept for a whole week. My perception changed about His death. He was crucified. Each time I remember His crucifixion I still cry. THE PASSION FOR CHRIST movie was a bit close to it but far from it. This happened in 1988 many years before that award winning movie was produced. After a decade, the Father showed me His ascension back to heaven. It was a moment of regret for me cos I cried and ran towards Him as He ascended shouting Lord, take me with you. Anytime, I share this experience in any Christian gathering, the power of God begins to heal the people and miracles happen. I don't understand how God does it. He comes to confirm the Sonship of His Beloved Son. Without the Cross there's no salvation. No hope of eternal life. Of course, No cross No crown. Today, the cross is offensive to many and that's why they don't preach about the cross. The cross has been replaced with the Mammon in the world. You cannot serve God and Mammon. I celebrate Easter everyday of my life. It was on that cross that my salvation was purchased. At the end of the day, the gory cross leads home(heaven) God bless you. |
Please I urgently need your advice in this direction. I intend getting a loan facility for a modern epic movie. I want to be sure that I will recoup my investment after production. I have knowledge about movie production. Thanks. |
I personally listened to the leaked audio conversation between Peter Obi and Bishop Oyedepo. In my candid opinion, I was convinced about the authenticity of the secret audio. Even the LP spokesman Kenneth Okonkwo affirmed it's originality too. Few days later, Obi came up with a rebuttal and went to court. Why is Daddy Oyedepo silent over this issue? Just wondering anyway because I had expected a rebuttal from him too. |
Election matters especially at the presidential always end up in the court. The Supreme Court has always been the final arbiter in such matters. Since INEC uploaded the presidential election results, the tempo of the noise has reduced. Of course, the courts will rely on the irev server results. I had wished Obi forget about the election outcome and move on with his life. He has a lot to offer towards the development of this country. He can wait for another four years to build his structures for a better and stronger competition. |
Just thinking wild. The election has been concluded and the winner announced. Supposing there should be a repeat of this election, who do you think will win? Any reason for your answers? |
We read in the Book of Kings that Elijah did not die but rather was driven to heaven by chariots of fire. In the new testament many have argued that God returned Elijah to the earth in the person of John the Baptist to die so that he can enter paradise. Do you as a Christian believe this narrative? What's your take on this? |
From the results the INEC released from the Presidential election conducted on the 25th February, 2023, Peter Obi came third. Going by the voting demography, it was clear that Obi's entrance into the race changed the status quo. He gave the ruling party a run for their money. Obi did not win this election which every Nigerians knows for obvious reasons. I am happy that the matter is before the court. This election can be rated 98% as no election is perfect anywhere in the world. However, I have my respect for Mr. Peter Obi. It will be in the spirit of good sportsmanship if he calls and congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It's never a do or die affair. I believe he can contribute his own quota to the development of his country. This election should not create any ethnic bad blood especially between the Ibos and the Yorubas. We are one unified people. |
I have heard from my childhood that mermaids are fallen angels. I don't know how true is this. People claimed to have seen these creatures I do not believe exist. I am speaking from my Christian perspective. How true is this claim? Can anyone help? |
Congratulations to the winner of the 2023 Presidential election. Nigerians have high expectations from Tinubu Presidency. Of course, we expect a paradigm change and shift from the old narrative. We look forward to a new Nigeria. President Buhari and Bola Ahmed Tinubu are two different persons despite coming from the same party. As a progressive, what are expectations? |
Have you ever asked yourself if the two prominent losers of the just concluded Presidential election stand any chance of becoming presidents of Nigeria? Surely, and candid speaking they will never be presidents of Nigeria. Barely, 72 hours ago ATIKU finally quit partisan politics. The man who had been appellated a serial loser finally threw in the towel after six attempts at the presidential shots. He was indeed a very strong contender for the highest executive post until Obi's emergence came as a spoiler for him. He would have won the election. The 76 years old man has equally withdrew his redressal knowing fully well that it will end up like other legal challenges. An exercise in futility. He will be 80 when Tinubu completes his first tenure as President. Peter Obi is 64. He was the youngest among the three contestants. He gave the ruling party a run for their money by capturing Lagos and Abuja. He performed excellently well in the SE and SS. Going by the doctrine of power rotation,my good friend may have to wait for another 16 to become our president. By then he would have clocked 80 and that will make him the oldest contender in Nigeria political history. I am pretty sure that it would be unreasonable for him to contest any election at that age. I may be wrong but this is my humble assertion. Only time will tell as Providence is the final arbiter. Good morning folks. |
I have been wondering what are the offences of the president elect that has made all kinds of human beings in Nigeria to hurl abuses at him. Currently, he is the most abused person in Nigeria today. No nation abuses their presidents and public office holders in the world like Nigerians do. Recently, Tinubu confessed that he no longer read the social media because of the way Nigerians abuses him. What has he done to warrant those derogatory insults like a thief, druggie etc. What did he steal and which court convicted him of stealing? Some of these folks who abuse Tinubu come from regions where they have no respect for their elders. Many of them have never seen Tinubu nor had any interaction with him yet, they hurl abuses on someone's husband and father. Can they allow their fathers to be insulted this way? Some go to the extent of accusing of stealing a mandate that belongs to another political gladiator without prove. I strongly believe that someday Providence will vindicate Asiwaju. I have a good upbringing just like any omoluabi not to insult elders or accuse them falsely. I believe that God will use Tinubu to change our narrative in this country. Then those abuses will have boomeranged effects. |
Too many fingers have been pointing unfounded accusations on the President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu since his presidential victory. All these accusations by people who didn't know Asiwaju was born out of hatred for the Yoruba people and Tinubu. I was privy to see online the letter sent by the American government to Tafa Balogun in 2003 when Tinubu was governor of Lagos State concerning Asiwaju and narcotics. He was given a clean bill of health. The questions that begs for answers are: 1. In what year was he arrested with narcotics? 2. What was the nature of the narcotics and quantity. 3. In which American state was he arrested? 4. Which court convicted him? 5. How many years did he spend behind bars? 6. Are there supportive documents to these allegations? |
The introduction of BVAS into our electoral process appears to a game changer in the history of electioneering in Nigeria. However, it is instructive to note that there's no perfect elections anywhere in the world. The use of the BVAS was experimental and has been applauded as the best voting technology. It is on good authority that every Presidential election do not end at the polls. The Supreme Court is the final arbiter. President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu is very much aware that his victory will be challenged in the court. I see him as unperturbed for very obvious reasons. He was confident that he going to win this election. He had long prepared for this with formidable structures. I also want to believe that the legal war is between the plaintiffs and INEC because he was not the person who declared himself winner neither can anyone accuse him of vote buying. The courts will reply greatly on the IREV results and the INEC legal team are fully prepared for this. With ATIKU and OBI claiming victory, this case will spend a long time with the judiciary. Having put in place a very formidable legal team of repute, Asiwaju had to travel out for a recess. He needed the rest to prepare and strategize for the task ahead. As for the drug case file, it's a dead on arrival case. It has suffered several setbacks in the past. Nigerians should pray for a successful handover and a paradigm shift in our narrative. God can use the vilest of men to bring a turnaround to our country. What we need now as a country is a government of competence and that was why Tinubu needed the recess to plan his government. I have no iota of doubt that Nigeria will be great again. |
The victory of the Labour party in Lagos during the Presidential election was unprecedented. It came as a rude shock to many. The victory can be premised on the fact that the Muslim Muslim ticket of Asiwaju was not welcomed in Lagos. So he lost because the voting pattern was on a religious sideline. The Labour Party quickly cashed in on this shocker and the Obidient movement started chest beating avowing to vote out the sitting governor . They called Lagos a no man's land. This drew the ire of d omoluabis who will stop at nothing to reclaim their state through the ballot box. It was indeed a very credible election which saw the incumbent winning 18 out of the 20 LGAs. It was indeed a landslide victory for Sanwolu who turned different professionals like phone repairer and hairdresser in a salon. He ran from church to church to canvass for votes because the soul of Lagos was on the line. His victory didn't come as a surprise to many. This is because many anti Yoruba tweets of Sanwolu opponent surfaced online. Secondly the Igbo and Arewa communities promised him their votes prior to the election. It was very evident that Sanwolu would be returned and he was. Just my humble submission. |
NaijaSumigan:Why? So who should be the president? |

It is clear that the soul of Lagos will be highly contested come Saturday, 18th March 2023 by the two major parties the APC and LP. The victory of LP during the last Presidential election in Lagos State took many unaware and has been a great moral booster for the Labour Party candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor. The truth remains that the incumbent governor Sanwolu is currently the best-performing governor in Nigeria. I stand to be corrected. He is also a Christian. President-elect Bola Tinubu lost in Lagos due to his Muslim-Muslim ticket. His opponent Mr Peter Obi enjoyed bloc votes from the Christian communities which cut across the ethnic line. It was after this feat that Gbadeo suddenly sprang up with his CV that he is a Lagosian even though he cannot speak the Yoruba language. No doubt, he is a Lagosian. Ever since the Labour Party won in Lagos, the OBIDIENTS have been chest beating and boasting to repeat the same feat during the governorship election. In my candid opinion, it may not happen as they envisaged because of the voting pattern that may be experienced come Saturday. Lagosians are not complaining about their governor not performing. He has a very high-performance rating on his scorecard. If Ambode had contested on the labor party platform, Sanwolu may stand no chance of returning to Alausa. Lagosians will vote massively for Sanwolu for the following reasons: 1. He is highly loved by the indigenes 2. He is a performing governor 3. Lagosians cannot experiment with an inexperienced hand 4. Lagosians will not throw away the baby and its bath water for a greenhorn. 5. Both the Christian and Muslim communities are routing for his reelection. 6. Lagosians will prove to the foreigners that their State is not a NO MAN'S LAND So, it is very glaring APC will surely win the election come Saturday. |
THIS IS OBI LAST CHANCE Sure, this is Obi's last chance at the Presidential shot. Ask me how? Providence never beckoned and favoured him to be our president. He was rather used to stop the presidential bid of another Fulani man who wanted to sell off Nigeria. Secondly, Providence used him to wake up our compromising and redundant leaders to do the needful thereby changing the status quo. It is evident that the southwest will complete their two terms of eight years. It will then be d turn of d north as par rotational agreement. Obi will be 80years old in 16 years! |
