I process information slowly, which in turn negatively affects the way I communicate with people. It makes me feel like what I call an "intelligent idiot" . The supposed idiocy manifests itself when I speak, and it goes the other way when I write or type.

I like to make friends but because of this, I hardly do and I feel that sometimes people misjudge and mistake me for a proud person. It's really frustrating because it restricts me. I can't really say I'm depressed, but I get mood swings most of the time.

You must be a super introvert.

All I can say is that I've always lived on borrowing & repaying. It all started from school days when friends would lend me some money to pay school fees & some other dues. They've never been disappointed in me though, coz I always ensured any money borrowed is refunded. I survived school days with grace. It's a long story, bro. I just hope I can live a life of no debt again.

That statement was deep coming from him. To even think he battled depression for 7 years while carrying out his daily activities makes me believe depression got no particular symptom to get people's attention to you.

You can look and appear like the happiest person alive in the public, social media or gathering, whereas you are mentally struggling and battling a lot.

You can battle it for 10 years without even knowing you are battling depression because you'll have to nurture your system on how to cope and endure overthinking, unrest and no peace of mind. All these will be endured without speaking to anyone because you've gotten use to it and feel it's normal until it hits you to the point you can't endure anymore which normally leads to suicidal thoughts.

Please learn to speak up when you start loosing your sanity and peace of mind.

Depression is no joke.
Have had my own share and when I couldn't help it,I tried committing suicide twice(2016/2020) but just happy that I'm alive now.
Sometimes life will seem sooo meaningless and worthless.
Never blame anyone that commits suicide out of depression. It can get really messy at times.

Just happy that the last one I tried didn't work.

The people of Uyo,in Akwa Ibom state were thrown into mourning on Sunday in the morning.
It all started when a young girl was caught trying to scale the fence of a compound...her cloths was stained with blood. So the people suspected her and apprehended her. It was later realized that she's a serving corper from Enugu but currently serving in Uyo and she had and argument with a young man concerning her charges after they where done with sex a night before.
She butchered the guy and tried escaping but luck ran out of her.
