This is normal, they (babies) even strain to fart and pee. They do so because they don't know which muscle and body part to use yet.
Relax and do nothing. She will soon figure it all out.

Let her go back to the hospital so doctors can examine it. For me i was told to sit in warm water, dettol and salt for 30 mins everyday.
