That's what we did. Requested for our passports and the application was still running and they contacted me when they needed to put in the visas to resubmit our passports (I put the stubs of the boarding pass as evidence that we truly travelled sha) I got them back 2 days after that.

It use to be 29 days but I guess it's because this is their peak period. I m doin paper route cos that online thing is asking for documents like flight booking, proof of relationship with my host etc.

Also even if I submit online, I ll still go for biometrics too.

@Hotstepper my cousin got 6months visa last month oooo. Though she stated she was going for a conference. I guess thats why then.

Canada visa now is 4 yrs. They would give u the amount of time that your passport have before it expires. And I guess they don't want ppl coming every time. They ain't after money like ndi US nd UK. Even canadian passports now have option of 10 yrs if you don't want 5 yrs so most ppl go for the 10 yrs

Pls get gerber prune. It's about 450 for 2 in a pack. Give him half of it and he ll poop after a while. I m sure d 1st poop is hard thereby blockin d not so hard ones.

It's because u just introduced cereal. Like Beryl stated pls make sure d cereal is a bit watery since u just started it. After a while u gradually thicken it. Also don't load it in his tummy. I started with 2 level tablespoons.

Pls don't give wheat cereal yet until 6months. U can try oat instead.

I started with baby finger brush with a pea size of his paste. every child will definitely swallow thats why a pea size of the paste is recommended.But now i got a very soft baby toothbrush that i use.

My madam arrived Aug 26th. It all feels so surreal cos she's not a regular newborn.
She weighed 4.33kgs. Looks and behaves like a 3mths old, I'm confused on how to handle her. But I'm sure.this thread will provide all the support I need in raising a super newborn.

Tommy Tippee is very soft. I even had issues with it because anytime my son sucked on it, d teat pushes inside because of the softness. I had to change bottles to momma cos it has stronger teat

I don't really measure the cereal per say because i know the quantity he eats but before he stopped taking bottle, he finishes 210ml - 240ml (7-8 scoops) per feed so i just use the quantity he use to drink to make his cereal. But here is a picture of his feeding plate and its normally almost full per meal.

I use aptamil too. That 8-9 scoops is to how much of cereal pls. My baby eats around 180-210ml of cereal. Tot d milk will be too much

Its now 54 working days for processing time because according to them this is peak period.

Hi dear, I guess that should be enough since u still breastfeed and i guess he sucks well. As regards d formula with cereal, it depends on the quantity he eats. My son has very large apetite. He eats every 3:30mins - 4hrs thus eats 4 times daily cos he sleeps through the night. at every cereal meal i use 8-9 scoops of milk but its Aptamil formula which has very small spoon.

I give my baby 3-4 scoops of formula to his cereal at every feed. He eats 2-3 times before I pick him up by 4, from dt 4pm till 7am that I drop him off the following day he's on breastmilk alone.
Is he well covered or Do I need to give him extra formula?

since u still breast feed u can do 60ml twice daily for a start and gradual increase the quantity as time goes by.

Uwc dear. It actually depends on u. I think from 6months a baby needs minimum of 600ml milk daily. So even if u start start solid u should give milk inbetween.

My son stopped taking milk from bottle at 6months so I make sure 90% of his cereal needs addition of milk.

Also are u still breastfeeding?

U can start with 60ml and study how she takes it and as time goes by, u can increase d quantity . Also u can sterilise her feeders regularly.

For me, I used his sterilizin unit only twice tru out my son used bottles. But I made sure I washed his feeding bottles myself and refrigerate afterwards.

I beg to differ dear. I don't think d time frame really matters here. What matters is that she doesn't default in her payment. Adhere to d payment plan religiously and once they see that, the chances of going tru is very very high. #myopinionthough#

A payment plan for 5 years is too long a time. Renewing your visa isn't your problem. Its going back to the states within that period of the payment plan. Please try to reduce the plan to atmost 18months. 5years is tooo long. Your visa may get renewed but you may not be allowed into the states without a zero balance.
