Lol. It's even in naija they keep saying bath with hot water, press with hot water, drink hot tea and all sorts.

In d US once u av ur baby until u r discharge, it's water with lots off ice blocks they ll give u to drink tru out. So I keep wondering what d myth about d hot stuff came about.

Also they advice sitz bath as well

My Mum and Mil said I should do it....I turned the offer down. She was waiting to tell me "I told you so"...lol....less than a month after birth, I was back to my old sef. Hello mamas, Please as regards cough and catarh, please we should be careful on what we give our kids whether home remedy or self prescription. Cough syrup is a no no for infants (so my paed said) especially when the cough is viral. We are to wait it out. Its not easy but if we are patient enough it will go. but to know if the cough or catarrh is viral or bacteria, then we would need to visit the hospital. My son has been having cough and catarrh for over 5 days now and when i went to the hospital, a full blood count was done and they found out it was viral and told me to go back home. That i could just continue with Vit. C. drops, nasal drop and also eucalyptus oil. The paed said the the time frame is 10days after which the baby's immune system is suppose to fight it but if after 10-14days no improvement, then the baby should be taken back to the hospital.

May God continue to protect our little ones and may they continue to grow in good health in Jesus name, Amen.

Hello Onegai, to an extent u r correct but some convertible car seats have same recline as infant car seat. I guess it depends on d one d person bought. Also for a carseat to be approved be it infant or convertible one, then d recline is correct. D only thing is convertible ones r bulky and u av to carry d baby out of it.

The infant one is better when they are quite young as they have the right incline for a newborn but babies outgrow them by 1year. The bigger chair is a convertible car seat, good for maybe 5 years (till the child outgrown it). The difference is that even though the convertible car seat can take an infant, it's still not at the right incline for a newborn (the baby is too upright.

Look at your lifestyle, if you know you will not use a car seat for long (though you should), get the infant car seat. I got a convertible and when I saw the incline, I borrowed a friend's own for the 2 months till my LO can fit in it comfortably. I'll take a pic of both and attach them.

1st is infant, 2nd is convertible.

It may be the weather too. I noticed that d cold weather abroad is not good for our hair.

Please do not massage. Give paracetamol to ease d pain and if there is high temperature. Just leave d leg it will eventually go down. She might be a little cranky cos of d leg but she ll be fine

Hello dear, no i do not grind it with the corn/millet. i grind separately and store in an air tight container. Also i use very clean and nice looking crayfish (don't know how to explain that). i add the desired quantity of the grinded crayfish when cooking the pap.

All u do is call them to inform about d part that is bad and they ll take ur information and send d replacement for free. Usually next day delivery if u calll b4 3pm US time. So if u av some1 that it can be delivered to.

Normally u r supposed to send d part that is bad back to them but u ll just explain that u r not in d country. Shikena.

I won't advice u add yellow corn. Just two types will do. I didn't start with crayfish though. I added crayfish from 8months. Some pple add soya as well. So I guess it depends on individual.

I m in Abuja so we use mudu here for measurement in d market. I do one mudu of guinea corn to half mudu of millet or one and half mudu of guinea corn to three quarter mudu of millet. A friend uses same quantity for both though.

Pls don't use blender because it won't blend it smooth and also might spoil d blender.

I used different nip.ple cream on mine but it didn't help. Ended up usin blue seal vaseline and that did d magic. I made sure my nipple was never dry. Kept applyin generously.

In addition to what av be said u can check ur car seat in at d check-in counter or at d door of d plane. But if u r using a stroller with it, I ll advice u check d car seat in at d check-in counter and put ur baby in a stroller then check d stroller in at d door of d plane. Pls if u r getting a stroller get d one with atleast 3 reclining position so u cud lay ur baby down and not sit down after d car seat has been checked-in.

No dear not all convertible car sets are forward facing only. Mine 4 example (graco 4ever all-in-one) is used from newborn to toddler stage. Thus can be rare facing until my son is 2yrs and then forward facing afterwards and also converted to toddler seat from 4/5yrs. And yes hospitals will discharge u with convertible car seat as long as it meets d requirements eg has rear facing option for infants

Most convertible car seats are bulky and heavy. Also the reasons most people prefer d infant car sear first because it's easier to use. U can leave d base in d car and carry only d car seat out with ur baby strapped. I feel it's most convenient especially if d baby Is sleeping. But for convertible car seats u ll av to go tru d stress of removin d baby from the car seat and it doesn't come with base.

Also, infant car seat can be attached to a matching stroller for those that want stroller unlike convertible car seat that can't be attached to a stroller.

Personally, I chose convertible car seat from birth because my son is very tall. He is less than a year old and infant car seat is too small for him already. I felt why spend money twice on car seat when I cud buy only once.
