You got it. The hole is too big even for three midfielders. I have no idea why we are not compact at the back and midfield. Better to choke the middle and allow the opposition take over one or both wings. This is insane!

This guy shouldn’t be starting at all. He’s had it too easy, majorly because he scored on his debut. He’s one of the slowest players on the pitch, second to Casemiro.

That was how his slow mentality caused Garnacho’s goal to be ruled offside vs Brighton.

Having Ugarte won’t change anything. The system is shyte. Just look at the gap between Mainoo and Case in the midfield. What are we playing? Also, the way opposition players are unmarked in our box is just unbelievable. The set up is absolutely shit!

100% true. We most times buy players who are used to a certain system to play a different style, hoping for a similar outcome. An example of that was Sancho. Based on what I have seen so far, I would think Zirkzee would be better in away matches where we need to play false. However, he doesn't seem to be a workaholic who could cover areas like ETH would have wanted.

My worry is most of the players we have signed are related to Ajax and ETH, if they can’t play ETH’s ‘system’, what the fuvk are we doing?

Not Sure ETH is seeing what we are seeing. Yes, midfield is not too good, but you see that Zirkzee upfront won’t do us any good. When we win the ball upfront, we don’t do anything with it because of Zirkzee. Very slow and sloppy dude!

Let's take it easy with our expectation this season. We ain't gonna win the league rather we should hope top 4 finish, which as well ain't sure.

Most important to me is building a team with clear identity - style of play this season. I don't wanna see the team conceding recklessly or losing steam at last quarter of match either.

Eth ain't the Messiah we seek, hope to see him gone before its too late.

It’s a cycle. We need defenders and midfielders, after making the signings, we start hearing stuff like we need to sign strikers. Rinse and repeat!

There's only ONE person that makes things happen in that team and serves as the connector- Bruno. You took him out and brought in someone whose role is not defined apart from making late runs into the opposition's box.
