....Dude don dey regret sha. I really pity him.
Baba is just stubborn. He’s forgotten that players are more powerful these days. He better sit up else his career will be tainted. Even the more experienced managers that won something for us had their careers dented by the club.

ETH did okay in his 2nd season? From your mouth?
cheesy Not fantastic, I said okay given he won the FA cup.

Okay = Not badly given our current situation.

We were actually 14th before ETH was sacked.

It's these same Glazers and Sir Ratface that gave ETH a new contract after finishing 8th in the league only to sack him few months later.

These are the people nitrogen is defending. grin
Tbh, it is on Ineos, and I don’t know why they did that. Quite absurd. They were going to set up everything including the team, and then bring a manager to play based on the style they have determined. But then, they panicked or something. I guess Ineos believe the team is ready (based on signings made under ETH) and Amorim will come do his magic.

What did we finish in the league last season? grin

What about the champions league? grin
ETH did okay in his first and second. It went downhill the third season. That’s understandable, which is why very few teams have the same manager after three years. And the reason a new manager comes on board is for another perspective and new ideas to help the team.

Adapt a bit?
This was a slippery slope ETH embarked on, and we all saw how that ended. He could not recover from the slide down that slope. lipsrsealed
Wrong! ETH adapted, and used the team to achieve something in his first and second years. for some reasons, he forgot to go back to his style after getting his players, and he got sacked for it.

Yes, I will enjoy the game and make comments about it, whether positive or negative, but won’t be here everyday complaining about the owners of the club not buying players for Amorim. That’s for you and Goldbridge, and I hope you are making money from it. Them influencer Utd fans you see on Twitter and YouTube are making money off your lamentations. They form and drive the narrative (of always blaming the owners), so you guys can indirectly or directly secure them traffic.

Sometimes you dey talk offside. Which formation or style Amorim dey play when una go sign ham?

Plenty people don ask you which formation you want Amorim to play, you no answer. ETH that was sacked played 4-2-3-1 and the players were arse also with nonsense display or why else was ETH sacked. Amorim came with his own style and the same players are still arse. The only constant is the players but to you, it's the manager that should be trying adapt to the players as if we haven't seen these players in another formation before.

Bros go talk to your fellow board members to buy players for the manager they signed 2 months ago else your wailing for here just dey start.
The same players played for ETH, won him two trophies and he was 3rd in his first season, until he could not get them to perform any longer. That’s the cycle of life, there is a reason performing managers see a dip in form and they get sacked, while new managers come and make the team play better.

Lol, it’s you guys wailing not me. Thank God the board/owners don’t care, they will do what they think is the best. When they are ready, they will give Amorim his players, until then, your lamentations about not buying players for him will reach heavens and come back 1 million times.

He suppose dey laugh and pop champagne with them after that disgraceful performance now.

Better tell your fellow board members to sign players for him. Even City don sign 2 CB and a forward and they have a better squad and depth more than us before.
It shows he’s getting frustrated and losing it. You can’t force the players to play just one, new, style. He should stop being stubborn and adapt a bit until he gets his players. Unless he is not as good as we think.

The player they signed 100m under ETH is the same player they are sending on loan now. They spent money on dross.
I hear you. Don’t worry, he’ll get his players soon, and hopefully things work out. If it does not, we would be back to this conversation and situation. We signed players that don’t fit the next manager’s philosophy and system. Oya, another overhaul needed.

You want to give players that have been here for years and on multimillion dollar contracts more time but the coach that just arrived must get it right in 3 weeks or you fire him.

You need to calm down more than me oga.
Players ETH signed have been here for years? Lol. What are you smoking? Is it not normal for managers to meet players and then overtime sign their players but ensuring the results are not totally bad until they get their players? Let him start getting some results by crook or hook with whatever he has, pending when he gets his players.

We the fans are one of the major issues rocking the club. Loyalty to managers because they were performing in some shitty leagues before joining us. Other big clubs don’t have time for this nonsense. Several clubs have sacked underperforming managers within a few weeks. Even Sporting sacked his successor within weeks.

Shey we’ve seen what is happening behind the scenes. Baba don dey break screens and stuff, I am sure he will lose the senior players very soon, and the younger ones will start aligning accordingly. Stubborn brat of a manager!

I don’t get. He knew what he was getting into, no? Plus very few managers have the luxury of coaching a team valued at 600-800m. We’ll sign players for him, you guys should calm down.

For some reasons Nitr.ogen never supports the signing of the new players but will always criticize the ref for losses, even when it’s glaring that the goals conceded were due to schoolboy mistakes from players.

Beats me.
Not saying we should not sign new players, I said we should give them time. No be same owners give 600m to ETH for an overhaul? Amorim knows he will get his players soon, and I believe he also knows that he needs to use the current resources to stay afloat. Just calm down.

City don buy 2 CBs already. Marmoush of Frankfurt is doing medical at the moment.

Our own board and owners are unlooking. Bunch of never do well.
When they were giving 600m to ETH over the last 2 years, you did not complain. Give them time, they will do what is best for the club.

This season is long gone. As long as we no relegate i would leave Amorim to continue with what he knows so that he won't cause confusion like ETH by changing style all over the place for temporary benefit only to ultimately waste our time.

Let Amorin coach as he sees fit. If he fails, he should be sacked. If he changes his style to another formation and fails now the excuse will be that he it was because he changed style and that he will succeed when he changes to his own style. That is how we will waste another 2-3 years. like we did with ETH. Let us know quickly whether there is hope with this guy and if he fails let us sack him.

The original sin made by the club was not sacking ETH in the summer of last year. They now compounded it by an in-season appointment of a manager with a formation and style that did not fit the players we had in the team.

There is nothing we can do about all that now, so we just have to roll with it.
But it’s also a gamble. We could go all out and change the whole team because of him and give him 2-3 years, and still be back here, with another overhaul needed after he is gone. It’s worrisome tbh.

What's funny is that Welbeck would be the best striker at the club if he was still at Utd.
Man Utd fans wanted to kill Welbeck that year. We know how these things go. They will bad mouth the player and ask for another who will eventually be labelled a flop.

nah, against southampton we saw it, with amad and anthony on the left it was hard for dem to pick both of dem up,

They are upfront enough. Infact, if not because Brighton have been a bit defensive we would have conceded more goals as there are spaces left by both players for them to exploit. See Brighton’s first goal na.
