To the extent that you cannot mention android without bringing Samsung into the picture . I can almost categorically say that without Samsung Android probably would have totally lost the ground to Apple's iPhone. Fast ward like almost a year after Samsung launched its idea of an infinity screen and Apple launched her iPhone x, Google decided to make or follow up on her pixel line up, and then she goes ahead to make it look almost like an iPhone. That to me automatically undermines and ridicules Samsung's idea of a smartphone. It's like Microsoft making a surface laptop that has almost exactly the same unique design of the Apple laptop,what message are they trying to pass to manufacturers using their operating system?. That the design and concept of their key competitor is better?. By Google taking sides with what is supposed to be your biggest competitor as against Samsung whom is supposed to be your greatest partner and symbol, does speak volumes. I have not used a pixel device before, but a lot people whom have, continuously claim it feels more like an iPhone than an android device, because most of its actions and gestures were just copied from the iPhone x. In general I think by making this move Google is indirectly trying to sabotage Samsung. All because of share jealousy, knowing fully well that if Google sides with Apple's concepts more it means that Apple is better, and therefore people will follow them and leave Samsung. Thus more and more Android users would buy the iPhone instead of Samsung because the Google pixel devices or looks and feels more like an iPhone. To me I feel Google has thrown a major shade on Samsung by aligning herself with the design language of apple, so therefore it's about that time Samsung starts looking away from Android and start the design of her own operating system.

For those who follow up on happenings in the mobile phone and electronics world. A couple of days ago Google launched a follow up on their pixel device line up, the pixel 3 and the pixel 3xl a lager variant of pixel 3. The biggest news from the release of both pixel devices is that pixel 3 xl had a "Notch". Now, That really got me soo damn pissed off at Google, because every single person knows that when it comes to smart phones, the two major stake holders in the business is simply Samsung and Apple. That is in terms of everything sales and popularity etc ,with Samsung having the highest number of sales worldwide. That been said, Every major player or brand in the business generally, especially those in product manufacturing and service rendering, knows fully well that uniquely branding your product with some kind of signature, logo or a peculiar design language, is extremely important, because that determines how your customers perceive and identify you. Take for example, most times you don't exactly need to see the logo on a vehicle for you to know ooh "that's a Mercedes, that is a Toyota or that is Honda" because over the years they have been able to distinguish themselves with a peculiar design language, thus people have identified them in that sense. Last year, the idea of making an infinity screen with out borders or bezels was much talked about. In response, Samsung came up with the galaxy s8 with minimal bezel and slight borders at the top and the bottom. Apple came out with iPhone x also with a minimal bezel, but to differentiate them from Samsung, theirs had what is called a notch at the top. Automatically both unique designs or representation of an infinity screen became their signature design language. Apple was known for the notch, while Samsung was known for slight pronounced borders on the top and bottom of the their devices . Now back to the bone of contention, Google knowing fully well that Samsung over the years has now come to be known and perceived as a symbol for Android operating system.

Automobile Audio system designs and integration goes beyond creating Bass and trebbles and tweet and mid ranges. This is cos of the irregular shapes of cars and their glass components. If these factors aren't taken into consideration, distortion and harmonic unbalance will be the resultant output. The sound engineers tuning most premium audio systems do go thru alot of stress in using sound dampers and sound enhancers where they seem fit so as to create a balanced natural sound with great crisp clearity in the cars they do tune.

Personally I feel those subwoofers are only good for suv because considering the amount of sound and vibration they would generate while playing. If a cars frame is not proper in place like say a sedan it just might start falling apart as a result

I would really love to get those customs fitted like yours because I think it provides the opportunity to set up sound units of exactly your choice. But as I mentioned earlier I am very much afraid of interior cusmetic damages it would cusre to the car like I can already see the one's on your vehicle

Damn those so subwoofers look like they could curse an earthquake, I don't think any car manufacturers can afford to fit such heavy duty subwoofers in their vehicle because of the space it might take up. But I can only just imagine that playing in a car with the sweet sonny to provide well balanced tweets, you would be a moving party on wheels. Really dope...... I am guessing it would cost a lot of money, like how much did you spend for it to be fitted?

Thanks for your contribution, my fear about replacing the stock sound system came about in my previous car I did fit or tried fitting a pioneer sound system in the car and in the process made some changes to fit the speakers because they were bigger than the stock that change I made later cursed some serious damage to the car because it affected the mechanics from performing some tasks. Since then I personally do like fitting my cars with materials or materials that are not built for it most times they do not exactly fit the custom personnel have to end up improvising which lead to the cusmetic damage of the car

If you know what I know about sound systems unless it is a top of the range luxury vehicle, buy a good car and then buy an excellent hifi sound system to replace the stock audio system, after researching options within your budget, even the stock speakers will need to go, not just the head unit and the amplifier

You fail to understand that there so many reasons why people buy a car, it's not always about how good economically or otherwise the car is. Sincerely speaking there is no sense in actually fitting a car with a non stock stereo system if you have actually taking your time to go for a car with a good sound system. So please let's stick to the topic of giving advice on car brands with good sound systems based on experience, and not advice on the durability or quality of the car I should be the one to decide that. I just need the car to pass the sound test first

Like someone said, focus on the car, the sound system is just an accessory which you can get for a few thousands. There are a lot of after market sound systems you can get, that is when your ride is running well, WHEN! You won't be jamming when your car packs up by the road side, will you?

You made alot of sense I have been in a lexus 330 it was not a base level I did not enjoy the jbl that much I have to say that it packs a lot of tweet and didn't have that sweet spot very discomforting to the ear when it was extremely loud. Because I am very sound sensitive as a music lover

@op, a lot of cars have good sound system. What you need to understand is that the base model of alot of cars carry ordinary stereo system, that's why you noticed those light and unimpressive sounds you talked about. Look for cars with full options spec; JBL sound systems for some Toyota's, Hammer kardon, Bang & Oluseng, Bose Stereo sound systems for most Mercedes Benz cars and also German cars in general. You can't go wrong with such sound systems ever! What ever brand and model of car you want, the sound system you get depends largely on the trim(spec) you buy.

How good is the nissan bose stereo system? I hear a lot of praise about on car reviews on YouTube but I have not had a chance to listen to it
