Police Raid Hotel Where Underaged Girls Trafficked From Rivers State Are Used As Sex Slaves In Delta

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command has raided Fagboma Hotel where underage girls trafficked from Rivers State are used as sex slaves and rescued the victims.

Focus Naija can report that the sting operation was carried out on Friday, 15th April, 2022, after the command received information that the hotel located at Aragba in Otokutu Town, Ughelli South, Delta State was been used as a brothel for underaged prostitution.

According to the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Mohammed Ali during a press briefing at the Command’s Headquarter in Asaba, investigations revealed that a woman simply identified as Joy trafficked the victims from Rivers, took them to Patani to forcefully swear an oath then brought them to Otu-Jeremi and handed them over to the owner of the brothel by name, Edwin Etareri.

He said that the owner of the hotel is currently at large but his wife, Grace Etareri is currently in custody alongside ten men and ten suspected prostitutes that were arrested during the raid.

The press briefing goes thus;

“On 15/4/2022 at about 2330hrs, the Command received information that Fagoma Hotel located at Aragba in Otokutu in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State is being used as a brothel where underage children are trafficked and used as sex slave. The command upon receiving this disturbing information raided the brothel and the following underage girls were rescued:

1.Happiness Johnson ‘f’ age 13yrs
2.Esther Godspower ‘f’ age 21yrs
3.Angel John ‘f’ age 22yrs
4.Miracle Bishop ‘f’ age 19yrs
5.Happiness Isreal ‘f’ 19yrs

“Investigations revealed that one Joy ‘f’ surname unknown now at large trafficked the underage girls from Rivers State took them to Patani where they were forced into taking an oath before they were brought to Otu-Jeremi and harbored by one Edwin Etareri the owner of the said brothel and his wife one Mrs Grace Etariri currently in custody. Ten other male suspects and ten female suspected prostitutes were also arrested during the raid. Investigation is ongoing.”

According to her, she accidentally took in for her 34-year-old boyfriend that she has been dating for 2 years plus not knowing that he had another girlfriend.

She said the other lady moved in permanently to live with the guy upon hearing of her pregnancy.

Her own parents are already aware and disappointed but the guy’s family acknowledges his relationship with the other lady more than hers.

She further revealed that the situation is making her frustrated, apprehensive and depressed.

A young lady was allegedly murdered inside a hotel room in Ozoro and her head cut off.

Focus Naija can report that the victim simply identified as Late Miss Adegor Rukevwe was said to be a socialite of the student community before her demise.

According to reports gathered from multiple sources, her headless corpse was found in one of the rooms of a popular hotel (name withheld) in town.

The hotel manager was said to be the one who reported the incident at the station, he was thereafter detained alongside other workers on duty that very day the incident took place and the hotel sealed up.

Messages sent to the image maker of the Delta State Command to confirm the incident were not replied as at the time of filing this report, however, sources privy to the incident told our reporter that the corpse was been evacuated to the mortuary.

EXCLUSIVE: 10-year-old Girl, Victory Subjected To Hot Knife Torture By Aunty Who She Does POS For In Lagos

A 10-year-old girl simply identified as Victory was allegedly subjected to hot knife torture by an aunty, Evidence Eseoghene who she does POS for in Lagos.

Focus Naija can report that the incident occurred on Thursday at their residence in Adeba Lakowe, IBEJU-LEKKI Local Government Area of Lagos State.

According to reports gathered, the victim was hungry on that fateful afternoon then took hundred naira to buy zobo and “kpuf-kpuf” for lunch.

Getting home, the aunty allegedly descended on her, put pepper inside her eyes and used hot knife to inflict multiple injuries at her back and on her thighs.

Speaking with the victim on Sunday afternoon, she told our reporter that she is going through severe pains on the hospital bed on admission. She revealed that she has been living with the woman for two years and that they hail from Isoko in Delta but she doesn’t know the exact name of their community.

While on the other hand, a Good Samaritan that rushed the victim to the hospital said the the Aunty is currently on the run as she fled their residence after committing the act.

“We demand justice for this victim. We beg Nigerians help to us demand justice for victory, she lamented.

Head usher and Pastor’s PA allegedly defile church boy in Kwale. Give him infection (video)

A head usher and Pastor’s PA of a popular pentecostal church has allegedly defiled a church boy in Kwale and infected him with STI.

Focus Naija can report that footages showing a mob parading the two of them at Umusadege has since gone viral online.

According to an eyewitness, their cover blew when a mother allegedly learnt that her son contracted STI making his organ to rot and peel. Upon enquiry, the lad exposed the activities of the duo.

The church said to be located around the Eke Market area, according to a source, is always in one controversy or another.

“It is known for many immoral acts, they have disgraced the pastor before when his wife said she saw a skeleton and she was having many miscarriages. In response he said that is because he is a spiritual man.

As at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the alleged pastor or the two disgraced church workers proved abortive.

However, it was gathered that one of them escaped from the mob when the beating became too severe. Whereabouts of the other remained unknown as at press time.

A House of Assembly Hopeful for Ughelli North Constituency II, Abel Izomare was seen earlier with a legislative mace during his ward to ward consultation in Delta State.

Focus Naija can report that Oharume, an aspirant under the APC, started his consultative visit earlier on Wednesday 6th of April, 2022 and visited both Agbarho Ward I, Ward II and Ughelli Ward 1/5.

According to reports obtained from his media team; Oharume went with the mace to inform APC party leaders of his intention to contest the Delta House of Assembly and to seek the party's nomination as candidate for Ughelli North Constituency II.

It was also reported that, he decried lack of effective representation and infrastructural decay across the constituency believing that real development has greatly eluded the people of Delta over the years of PDP leadership.

DTHA 2023: Abel Oharume Kick Off Ward Consultation.

Ahead of party primaries scheduled to hold in May 2022, a frontline aspirant and House of Assembly hopeful of the All Progressive Congress, APC Dr. Abel Izomare Oharume has kicked off his ward to ward consultation.

Oharume who began his consultative visit earlier on Wednesday 6th of April, visited Agbarho Ward I, Ward II and Ughelli Ward 1/5 to inform party stakeholders of his intention to run for the Delta House of Assembly and to seek the party's nomination as candidate for Ughelli North Constituency II.

During the visit, Oharume thank the party executive for their unwavering support in his past contest and for their firm resolved to deliver Delta from the claws of those holding it down from development amidst huge oil wealth.

If given the baton to run as candidate of the APC in the constituency, Oharume promised to work hand-in-hand with the ward excos to bring dividend of democracy to the people.

He decried lack of effective representation and infrastructural decay across the constituency believing that real development has greatly eluded the people of Delta over the years of PDP leadership, and that it is time we collectively work together to create a new pathway of development for the people of Delta especially in Ughelli North Constituency II.

Speaking during the visit, Oharume said; "My desire to run was born out of human related issues that has befall our constituency mostly under the leadership of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa with no voice to speak on behalf of the constituents. I believe that my candidature is key for our party to win the general election give my wealth of political experience and to further liberate our constituency from the shackles of neglect and underdevelopment through effective representation".

He vowed not to disappoint his constituents if given the mandate to represent them at the Delta State House of Assembly.

The ward chairmen, elders and leaders offered prayers of sound health, ceaseless financial flow and victory as Oharume proceeds from ward to ward.

A massive crowd gathered to witness the lynching of a middle aged man accused of trying to rob a POS outlet along Isoko road in Ughelli, Delta State.

Focus Naija can report that he was burnt at the NNPC roundabout after his corpse was dragged from the spot where he was caught and beaten to death by the mob.

According to reports, the middle aged man said to be from Uwheru had attempted to rob the POS beside the popular fast food located at the roundabout.

An eyewitness disclosed that in an attempt to escape, the victim allegedly fired a shot at a bike man that summoned courage to approach him but missed his target. The action infuriated others who laid ambush and mobbed him before he could escape.

As at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command for comments proved abortive.

A yet to be identified young man was captured fighting with a hooker that he had a nice time with in Ughelli, Delta State and the video has gone viral online.

Focus Naija can report that the duo were exchanging words after making out together when it degenerated into the fight.

From the video, the lady was heard accusing the young man that he left his baby mama with a massive backside to sleep with her.

According to her, he lodged a separate room where they made out and he didn’t last long. During the exchange of words, she grabbed the young man’s shirt asking him to beat her.

He stood up and started punching her while loosing her grip from himself. Friends that they were chilling with stood up to separate them but it was already late as he held on to the shirt that she was wearing and pulled it off, exposing her bare chest to the public because she was not wearing bra.

Youths reportedly ambush James Manager as he goes for consultation, halt convoy over poor state of road at accident scene.

It is reported;

“A PROTEST INTERCEPTED J.E MANAGER'S 2023 CONSULTATION CONVOY- REHAB THE OHORO-BOMADI ROAD

“The YOUTH of Odorubu Community in Patani LGA, along Ohoro-Bomadi road, at the seen where an accident occurred yesterday, staged a strong protest which intercepted Hon James Ebiowou Manager 2023 consultation convoy.

“The basis of the protest, which was carried out by the youth at the seen of accident was that the Ohoro-Bomadi should road should be rehabilitated. Their grievance was that the road, which is now in bad shape and riddled with potholes, has taken the life of many of their loved ones.

“They have cried and cried but their representatives in government seems not to listen to their painful cry. And then just yesterday, another ghastly accident occurred in which a pregnant woman was burried under a load of 2by4 planks when a lorry carrying a load of wood from the creeks stepped into a steep slope by road side and summersaulted.

Five undergraduates have reportedly lost their lives after their Benz ran under a stationary truck along Kwale expressway in Delta State.

Focus Naija can report that all five including two ladies were returning from a night club in the early hours of Tuesday, 15th March, 2022 when the fatal accident occurred.

According to reports gathered, the young men alleged to be students of a Federal University in the state bought the Benz shortly before the ASUU strike and were returning from a birthday celebration held at the club house.

As at press time, Sector Commander of the FRSC could not be reached for comments but eyewitnesses disclosed that there was no survivor.
