Not really surprised by all the sexual assumptions, most folks here don't think beyond that.

Btw, I personally find it irritating whenever people keep harping on "Okafor's law".

Like, what is with these sex addicted nomenclatures nitori Olorun!

Everything must be coloured with sex!

Who are the women running after you people sef?

Why do you still keep in touch with your ex, instead of Do you keep in touch with your ex

which is what should have been the question.

Interesting.

Not even "why do you keep in touch with your ex".

Pretty grandiose I must say.

Some people want to test the system and its laws, so they are not really about legal immigration like that.

My problem is they need other people (stooges) to help them achieve these goals.

The stooges often end up discarded and damaged/destroyed after.

Is it too much to ask for a virgin with wifely attributes?
Yes it is.

You have the option of remaining single like the op, it's not by force to marry.

enemy of progress.
Another emotional and overly heated debate for vague reasons.

The only thing which seems to be clear is some folks' desperation for reasons best known to them.

And not surprisingly, thread title says Nigerians abroad but the topic turned to America.

Is America the only abroad?

No, there's nothing so unusual about Nigerian Health Professionals setting up or owning clinics abroad.

But that is not what MadLov3 initial statement was.

MadLov3 stated that he/she knows a number of Nigerians who own "Hospitals" abroad...he/she keeps shifting the goal post because he/she knows that his/her lies have been exposed.

Any Health Professional can open up clinics in the US but not Hospitals.
The word hospital and clinic can be used interchangeably, the difference is not always clear especially in various contexts.

I guess he or she might not have realised that was the bone of contention.

The way and manner Nigerians are fixated on the US, I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before their deepest desires are granted them, namely to do away with freedom which they have no use for.

When it comes to getting married to a woman, is she preferably choosen because she is a virgin or because of her good characters?
Who, what why?

Is it your business, just wondering.

What are your own preferences, are you a believer in community marriage stuff where an entire community feels they are married to one single woman.

Does that make sense?

Love4God:
Does any genuine christian have to take permission from any person before going to preach were they sell hard drugs, in the prisons,on the streets, in the markets,on online platforms, in one's neighborhood, in correctional centers, in the hospital ,in schools or even in a motel ?
My answer is no ?
The bible does not forbid only one person from going for evangelism.
Nor
State that an individual must seek permission from the church or any Pastor before going for evangelism in any of the places i mentioned above.
Anybody may accuse the preacher but because the person went there because of God he has a special reward from God.
Whom would you rather please, God or man ?
Yes, a genuine and wise Christian should take permission and let others know he is going to preach in a brothel due to these reasons:

- He is male and he wants to go to a place where sex is expressly marketed and sold to males

- Just as he has the right to go wherever God sends him, others also have the right to assess the impression he is giving in the absence of any explanation he owes them. Namely, a man going alone to a brothel and interacting with semi naked women there.

Your zeal as a Christian should be accompanied by knowledge.

If a preacher goes to preach in a motel were half nude girls gather and while preaching to them and certainly he is watching and looking at their half nude bodies but not with a lustful intent of sleeping with any of the prostitutes nor going elsewhere to commit fornication or rape do you think that he is committing a sin ?
He can be accused of sinning if he cant prove he did not have lustful intent.

The onus is on him to provide evidence clearing his name.

He would also explain why, for example, he went alone to a brothel.

He could claim naivete or ignorance of other people's assumption of guilt, but he also placed himself in that position either intentionally or unintentionally.

Issues like these (appearances) are what gave rise to the phrase "It's not what it looks like" when something is ambiguous and looks like something else. But too many "it's not what it looks like" is suspicious unless the person involved is a habitual and well known scatterbrain or unorganized/careless.

When your secular job entails you look through videos and photos of a sexual nature in order to arrive at or investigate certain conclusions and in so doing, consider these actions relevant to the nature of your employment which was clearly outlined in your employee handbook and guidelines, that's different from voluntarily doing the same for personal gratification.

I doubt you or your church knows the meaning of "committed Christian".

btw, aren't you advocating human sacrifice on this thread:

How do you reconcile your support of human sacrifice with Christian beliefs you claim to have?

Rhetorical question o, dont bother answering because i know it's all lies you'll come up with.

Romance › Re: When Your Boyfriend's Mother Hates You, What Do You Do? by nlPoster: 3:42pm On Aug 13, 2019
There are many reasons why your boyfriend's mother might not like you. These include:

1. Perhaps a spiritualist said her family lineage would go extinct if you enter

2. You might be from a place she actively dislikes, is her traditional enemy, or where she had a bad experience

3. You might be too posh

4. She feels you are loose (it doesn't matter if the son is also loose)

5. She doesn't want her son to marry at this time

6. She has someone else in mind for him

7. She was told bad things about you

8. She doesn't want anyone sharing her son's affection

9. From your body language, you don't seem submissive or intimidated

10. She doesn't like your appearance, could be your makeup, dressing, shoes, etc. Too much or not enough.

11. You look like a spendthrift.

Ladies too should not date a man whose family clearly shows they don't want them together.

If he doesn't have enough sense to know what to do, but must place all the blame and burden on the girlfriend or wife, then you should care enough about yourself to note all these.
Romance › Re: When Your Boyfriend's Mother Hates You, What Do You Do? by nlPoster: 2:38pm On Aug 13, 2019
No serious and responsible man would be ok insisting on bringing a lady who his family hates, knowing the kind of agony she'd be forced to endure at their hands while he pretends not to know, or blames her for whatever they accuse her of.

That's sheer wickedness especially if the lady has no inkling of the kind of danger she's being exposed to.

If/when she's as witchy as the man himself, then it's a dog eat dog situation and let the most ruthless person win.

Otherwise, God should be the judge.
