LP was not going to make headway in the North and South west. And it made headway in the middle belt because of Obi's targetted campaigning, but it did not make impact in states like Kogi, Kwara and Benue as it should have.

Also, people vote for what they know, and PDP and APC are everywhere like coca cola. If I went to a village in say Kano, Katsina or Niger state and asked for LP, no one would know what I AM talking about.

The fact is, LP was the southern faction of PDP. And even then, most Southerners in PDP stayed with the party. And the division is why APC won, because most Nigerians did not vote for APC. Sadly we count votes according to party, and the anti APC vote was divided into 4. Had all LP VOTES gone to PDP, which they should if it was the status quo, APC would have never stood a chance.

That is why I keep saying, a divided oppositon loses elections, a united one wins. When the Kenyan oppostion was divded they always lost, when they united they won. Ditto Nigeria.

If the court rules in LP's favor, I won';t be angry, I would be happy. But the truth is, LP got as much votes as to be expected. Pretending they got a majoirty of votes in the eleciton is a dream.
