Many women have become a single mother today due to mistakes they were force to make by Thier partner.

It's very easy for a man to move one and remarry whenever he desires while many single mothers out there looking for who they will spend the rest of Thier lives with.

So, Should a man be force to marry a lady he impregnated by mistake?

Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/CqPlm_Yuau7/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=

How do you mean impregnate by mistake?
Does that even happen? You had unprotected sex, what were you expecting to happen next?

Anyways, I'm not an advocate of forcing marriage on anyone but you must be ready to take responsibility for your actions or your so called "mistake".

Dear God, I am appalled by the comments above me.

A majority of Nairaland commentors are Dundees. There are over 2million members on Nairaland with an estimated 10million non registered members. Out of the over 2million register members, only 0.5% of them are regular commentors who also push the like, share, and mention buttons. 70% are active readers who go through the comments but don't like, share or mention. 29% are active readers only. They don't wish to see the rubbish posted by half of 0.5 commentors.

That is why the average maximum likes fluctuates between 100 - 300likes per very good and very useless comments and peak at 400likes for great and most useless comments. There is a battle for the soul of commentary amongst the 0.5% with a significant push and leanings towards the 'useless'.

If the high nos of reasonable readers from the 99% push the buttons, the average likes, shares or mentions for a great post will peak at over 200k or more just like you find in Instagram. However, the ruthlessness and insolence of half the 0.5% who quickly post the 'useless' has painstakingly made it difficult for the 70% who regularly search for good and great comments and 29% who rarely are interested in going down the journey of 'useless'.

When I write, I write for the digestion of the 99% and half the 0.5%. The most reasonable and important part of the group who although, stay quiet, are far more active in mind and reason.

Romance / Re: Date With My Colleague: I Have Ruined My Reputation At Work. by Nnemaranma(f): 11:22am On Apr 09, 2019
Gaspardd:
There is this lady at work, she works for the client and i work for the contractor. She has a nigga friend who is my padi and he has been talking to me about her, after so much persuasion, i said fùck it and gave it a shot.

Really she was so receptive than i envisaged and since then we've been casually saying hi and stuff.
On saturday i called her and asked about her weekend, she told me she wasnt doing anything, i suggested we meet on sunday(ytd). She said she wud call me wenever she's back from church.
She called around 5pm, i dressed up, all my clothes were creased so bad so i had to borrow a niggas Tshirt, pocketed 2k cus i am cheap and i live cheap, so i cant spend more than 2k on a date.

I got to d venue, she was waiting already, she was putting on a gown revealing some cleavage which was a very nice sight but really unlike her as she always dress modest to work.
Long story short, i ordered for drinks, all was 1400 naira, which was within budget, d 100 naira change will be for my TP and i will give d maruwa guy 500 for her own TP to give her d remaining change. Everything was going according to plan, things were going fine , what a good time to be alive. Suddenly she said she feels like chewing sth.
I initially made as if i didnt hear what she said, she said it again and i interjected with "NOPE, CHEWING IS BAD FOR TEETH" She laffed and beckoned on the waiter to come over. In shock i yelled wait wait, i brought out the whole of 1500, dropped it on the table and told her this all i have with me, already she knows there is 1400 payment to be made.

She didnt give a shìt, she called the guy, brought 2 plates of meat, i was just feeling awkward watching how the whole shìt wud play out. At last she brought out her purse, gave d guy some money, i picked the 1500, gave it to the waiter but he returned the money, said the money she gave him is complete.
Seriously i was ashamed of myself, i wanted to talk about it but i decided to let it slide so as not to overflogg the issue.
Later we were done and i saw her off, i gave d driver 500 for her TP. Some hrs later i saw 3missed calls from her, i texted her back and she responded with... see you tmao. While i dont know wht that means but i know she is gonna tell everybody at work about what happened, about how i am a stingy pig. But i aint stingy, i just priotize things i spend money on.
Today i told my niggas what happened, i have only two niggas, but neither i nor any of them has heard about the parol from another source. But then i am sure that if words get around, my reputation = Ruined embarassed embarassed embarassed

I'm disappointed in you and your write up.
What do guys really want?
Your expectations were cut. You expected that after the cheap hangout, you'll invite her over to come pay in kind, but she beat you to your game and you ran to Nairaland crying foul.
Next time don't go for ladies that know their worth, go for your type of girls; the hungry girls. Those that hardly spend on themselves not to talk of others. That's the type of female you need in your life.

A Nigerian burn survivor, Kay Obum who's also a Psychologist , took to his Facebook page to share his inspiring story. He is a graduate of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He's really an inspiration to many.
Here is what he wrote:

Now
I get lots of requests,
Lots of God bless you,
Lots of this n that cos I decided to go viral on my list with my one through friend Chizzy Francess.
You don't know the pains of burns if you don't feel it.
Am not bringing back those memories but we are products of grace.
The burial grounds couldn't hold us.
And were too young to be forgotten and too rare to be ignored.
Now my dear, always know that you are important and blessed.
"My mama use to say " don't loose faith your life is in the hands of God, he neither sleeps nor slumber.
Bottom line: its not easy living a regular life with irregular scars.
We are human we feel demoralized too.
We feel incomplete too.
But we have no choice than to survive.
Lest I forget ( come take plantain)

A Nollywood actress, Uche Eze, has accused Pastor Lazarus Mouka of the Lord's Chosen Charismatic Renewal ministry of attempted kidnap and murder. She claimed the pastor have used her in toto. She also claimed his men have accosted her twice but she was lucky to have escaped unhurt.
In her previous post in January, she claimed the pastor tore her family apart just because he wants her to be his wife. She also claimed he married a wife for her husband.

Literature / That Scary Night. by Nnemaranma(f): 5:40pm On May 30, 2017
There was total darkness and a heavy downpour as I was returning from a friend's birthday party on Sunday night. Since it was dark and I was already drenched to the skin; I need not find a place to take cover but stood at the roadside waiting for a cab. After waiting for sometime, there was no sign of any vehicle and due to the several scary stories I've heard about the road; I decided to trek to the nearest junction which was always busy. Though it was quite far, I had no other option. The road was very lonely and scary.

After I had walked for about 25 minutes, a car pulled up close to me. Due to the darkness, I didn't care much about seeing the driver's face. I never thought of asking the direction he/she was going due to my desperate desire to get off the scary road. I just hopped into the car immediately.

The car was just moving slowly and I was wondering why. Few minutes later, a car drove past our's and with the light, I saw that no one was sitting on the driver's seat though the car was still in motion. I was overwhelmed because I haven't seen or heard of such before. Just then, I recalled the scary stories I had heard of that road and how ghosts operate there at night. As all those thoughts were running through my mind, another car drove past us again and that time, I almost fainted. I saw a hand controlling the steering wheel through the side window. I wanted to scream but the voice was not there. My heart was beating so fast and loud and I felt goose bumps all over my body. I couldn't even open my eyes. The most scary part of it was that at a point, the car started moving around or so I thought.

When I regained myself a bit, I opened the door and fell off. I stood up almost immediately and took to my heels without looking back. Fortunately enough for me, it was almost the junction; atleast it wasn't dark because of the light from the junction.

On getting to the junction, I comported myself, walked into a fast food, sat down and ordered for a soft drink almost immediately just to steady my nerves. I was sipping the drink and thinking of what would have happened to me when two handsome guys, dressed in muddy clothes walked in and sat close to me. They were waiting for their order when one looked closely at me and said to the other "See that girl wey enter our car when we dey push am".
