Date Submitted: 14th June Paper application Biometrics done: 14th June Medical request: 14th August Medicals done: 22nd August at IOM lagos IOM sent me the delivery message on 30th August BVL: 3rd September Approval(Letter of Introduction): 7th September VFS pickup mail: 9th September
I was unable to link it so I left the application like that not knowing what's up with it. The days between 3rd and 7th September looked like the longest days of waiting in my life. CIC no go give us high BP..

I wasn't employed as I was still doing my NYSC and didnt submit any nysc stuff.
In term of family ties, I included my mum and my sister who is a doctor here in Nigeria. I also included my other sister in Ukraine still studying medicine. Finally backed it all up with prayers and fasting.

Honestly I started reading through the thread after applying and I almost lost hope on my application as i was seeing well pacakaged applications getting refusals. I can never forget June to September as they were my most spiritual months..

Please can some one help me out with this.
My sponsor to be is not related to me by blood, his my late dad's friend and he has transferred my first semester tuition to my account which i did used to paid for my tuition.
Can i front him as my sponsor with his commitment? because his the only person that have all the requirement in terms of his bank statement. |

Thanks for the explanation, my thoughts were right. abelorode: Study gap is simply explaining what you have been doing since graduating e.g full-time employment, voluntary activities, professional trainings e.t.c. Then backup your claim with appropriate documents. |

Please can you explain in details what study gap is all about? For instance, if some one graduated 2009, and from 2010 to date the person has been working, what exactly will be the person study gap in this scenario. abelorode: Hello, I don't think he not adding his statement of account is 'what killed his application. Insufficient fund could be from the side of the sponsor especially if he/she have dependent(s). To the moniker, if re-applying soon, get a Co-sponsor, and age shouldn't be a problem if you can explain any study gap. |
