First you wanted to go to malaysia, then someone suggested europe and just like that, you are thinking of europe. Am sure if someone else mentions australia, you'll be considering it as well. I'm not saying the visa cannot be extended but according to the new malaysian immigration laws, tourist visas cannot be converted to student or work visas anymore effective 20th of february 2012. Even if you get a job in malaysia(which is very slim within 2 weeks) you will still need to exit malaysia and travel back to malaysia with the work visa and talking about staying in malaysia for life, think twice bro because many have attempted it and they ended up regretting but if you do get a job in malaysia, then youre good to go!

Aha, thought you said you needed a "tourist visa"? Why are you mentioning work or extention of papers? You can NOt go to malaysia with a 3 months social visa and expect to find job that easy man!

Wrong! To go into malaysia with a tourist visa, you must be able to satisfy the immigration officer that you have indeed come to malaysia for " tourism purposes only" and also have sufficient money to cover your stay.
The basic requirements should be having a return ticket and the return should not exceed two weeks, BTA of $2500 or $3000 (note: you will be asked to show it at the Lagos airport if thats where you intend to fly from) and your hotel reservation!

alfablondy: You dont need any agent. Emirate Airline or Ethihad Airways can serve as your sponsor. You can submit visa application through either of them. If you meet the requirements you will surely get it.

For ethihad go to this site https://www.ttsuaevisas.com

click on or select the country where you are applying from. It will take you to the page where you will get the necessary information on online and paper applications.

For emirate check this http://www.emirates.com/sc/english/plan_book/essential_information/visa_passport_information/uae_visas.aspx

With ethihad you enter UAE through Abu dhabi and the airline takes you to dubai by bus, No charges for the ride. while you enter UAE through dubai if you get the visa through emirates. I think getting the visa through etihad is much easier.

Nice post but dont forget to tell him as well that Emirates and Etihad airways require you to purchase your air ticket to the UAE from them before they apply for the visa for you! I'm saying this because if they are your sponsors, even if you see a cheaper air fare, you wont have any other choice than to fly with the airline that stood for you!

If the ranking was based on the size of an airline, most U.S. domestic airliners/European carriers would have been in the world's top 10 list.

As to your point about 1 Time ceasing operations, the survey may have been conducted before the airline ceased operations.

Lol, beats me to it how someone can expect to see arik airline on the list. How many aircrafts do they have? How many destinations do they cover? Let that guy pick one airline among the top 10 and do a comparism with arik airline, I'm sure he'll be very much suprised as well!

She doesnt need to be confused about anything. What she need to do is to sit the guy down and explain everything to him as it is. We've all lied to someone at a point in our lives. She should explain to him she never thought both of them would come this far and that is why she has decided to come clean before he proposed to her. That way, if he's a reasonable man, he should be able to understand because it woulda been worse for him to find out when they woulda already been married.
However if the guy fails to be reasonable and accept her for who she is now that she has spoken the truth, then she should move on. Its not a do or die affair, its lyk a landlord giving his tenant quit notice, Leave my house doesnt mean Leave this world and I'm sure she would have learned to be more truthful when dealing with guys. I would advice that she say the truth because even though she was wrong, she got her point across!
