I watched a TV show yesterday which was actually a recreated true live story of rape and murder crime committed by a 17year old African American in the city of Portsmouth Uk . The victim a 16 year old talented dancer was brutally murdered by her male friend who equally happen to be her dance partner and violinist. The amazing thing was that, the murdered according to the police has never been involved in any crime and was a regular visitor to the house of the victim and was equally well known to her parents. Unknown to the victim and her parents, the young man has been having feelings for this her .This feelings gradually developed into obsession and before you say jack, the unthinkable happened. The young man gained entrance in to their House through the window and attended to rape Anny who was alone on that particular day. At first she thought it was a joke but when she realized he was serious she put up a great fight. On realizing he won't succeed, Jake ran to the kitchen and pull a knife from it racket with which he stabbed her severally. He quickly ran out and left her in a pool of blood. The police was called in as usual the house now a crime scene was thoroughly inspected for clues as to who committed the crime and his motives. The knife and other items where also taking for forensic analysis. The police also started arresting and talking in a lot of people for questioning. six months into the investigation known of the finger prints of the suspects arrested matched that of the killer. The police officers handling the case where becoming frustrated as the more they try to unravel the details of the killer the more they meet a dead end. The police finally had a breakthrough when a top ranking officer suggested they carryout an expensive forensic test which will reveal the race and the sex of the person who committed the crime. It was at this point that the family of the victim remembered Jake the victims dance partner and violinist. He was her only close African American friend. Jake was among those earlier arrested and questioned by the police and was released as his DNA sample did not match that of the killer. Unknown to the police he was actually the one that committed the crime. Jake mislead and deceived the police by changing the chewing gum he had in his mouth for a different one that he has in his jean pocket. The police took the wrong chewing gum to the lab for forensic test and the result was negative. The police was determined to unravel the reason why Jakes DNA sample returned negative. He was rearrested and kept in custody. Under intense questioning, Jake confessed to committing the crime and a second DNA sample taking by the police from his tongue and handle of his car door also confirmed he was the killer. Jake was sentenced eventually and he is to spend 42 years in jail. |

A friend shared this with me and I decided to bring it here in other to get advice. He works with a company as an admin officer and part of his job description is processing of expenses for daily purchases and payment to vendors and suppliers. My friend is in a fix right now and he needs advice. The problem started when his former boss boss was sacked due to downsizing. His new boss is a terribly corrupt person. Inspire of the fact that his boss earns good salary which ordinary should be enough for him, he still manipulates figures and orders my friend to raise fictitious expenses which he converts to private use. My friend also notice that his boss connives with vendors to inflate price in return for kickbacks. Recently my friend processed and got approval for purchase of tyres for their operational vehicles in the office only for his boss to collect the money without buying the tyres. The internal auditor who is suppose to check mate this excesses has been quiet . My friend is thinking of using the company's wishle blowing mechanism but this might affect his boss as he could be sacked. Kindly advice. |

Not all Ecobank tellers are rude. The guy that handles transfer in their makurdi branch close to access is simply amazing. I had issues with Ecobank mobile app which he helped me to resolve after weeks of visiting several branches without solution. |
I was motivated to go back for Bsc Economics after HND Statistics and PGD as a result of the policy of the organisation I work for. After working for some years as a contract staff, the company decided to convert us to permanent staff but only those with Bsc where considered. It was a very low moment in my life as staffs that understudied me on the job where elevated before my very eyes. I had to humble myself by starting from 100 level and I will be graduating soon. No regret. Na the time when person wake up from sleep na him daybreak. |
] God is a scam Jesus Christ is a scam Religion is a scam Bible (story book) is a scam. May God forgive you. |
Its either Bsc or nothing. The Nigerian educational system has designed polytechnics/HND to produce middle level manpower as such obtaining an additional qualifications like MSc might still still not place you at per with you peers in a highly competitive labour market like Nigeria. As you progress in your career, reference will still be made to your first degree which might deny you of some leadership and headship roles in your organization. My candid advice is go for a Bsc instead after which you can now do your MSc. |
Copied... #QUOTES From Fmr Gov Peter Obi. "To you young people, Take Back your Country...it is your future they are toying with". - Peter Obi "I reduced my convoy to 5 vehicles and you cannot buy fuel unless I am in the car".- Peter Obi "If I sleep in a hotel and have to pay N250k a night, I will be awake all night...feeling like I was robbed". - Peter Obi "You know there are many big men in Anambra state, so when they want to see me, I say to them I will come to you instead".- Peter Obi "We handed schools back to Churches and by 2013, we were number one in WAEC."- Peter Obi "I beg you to participate more in politics, the society we help them abuse today will take its revenge tomorrow".- Peter Obi |
The initial impression was that it was the executive that carried out the padding of the budget. The truth is gradually coming out. In obasanjo's voice national Assembly members are thiefs. |
One bank that I know does not allow bsc third class to write it test but allows HND. |
Please has any one who attended both the first and second interview been contacted. Kindly share your experience during the interview. I notice the second interview centred more on renumeration and why are they hiding the identity of the hotel that is recruiting. |
A friend of my who has spent five years as a contract staff in a bank has been invited by the bank for a test which hopefully might lead to his conversion to core staff. While this sounds like good news , if he is successful his new level will be an ET.Should he accept the offer or resign at the end of this year to pursue a business he has been saving toward as the bank in question has a reputation of keeping staffs on one level for more than 7 years. |
