mcobex: I don't know the applicant's profile, but this shows she was not able to convince the vo she will leave Canada after her program. She can do this by showing strong family-ties(parents and siblings), potential jobs waiting for her in Nigeria after graduation, family investments/properties she will like to go back to manage after studying...... Thanks |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobleman61: 7:13am On Sep 12, 2019 |
Qudkom: This is a case of poor job prospects and the poor economic situation in the country. Apparently the vo doesn't think the future job salary and all will compel her to come back to Nigeria. Also poor document compilation/expression and poor study plans was also a huge factor. I'll advice that your friend joins the thread to get more tips.
She also needs to work on presenting a compelling proof on why Shell return back home to take the job.
P.s: if the job isn't a government agency or family business then it's a waste of time really. All the best to her. Okay thanks |

NothingDoMe: The GCMS notes I see from this region of the world is lacking substance and is just a waste of money.
I am starting to feel that it is because we use a third party website to get it and that's why a lot of useful information is scrubbed. I don't buy that "they are overwhelmed with lots of applications" crappy story.
I think it's time to contact them about this. Like I don’t even understand o This guys are playing with us honestly With the kind of pressure we go through, all notes/refusals are now the same, uk will tell you the reason for the refusal you reapply or appeal God help us |
Hello good people!
My case goes this way, I submitted my application for a Canadian student visa via an online route on May 12, 2019. I did my biometrics on May 14, 2019. On June 25, I received a rejection letter from them. I was devastated and depressed, but I just had to move on.
I later applied for GCM Notes to find out the real reason for their refusal. Their reason was not worth it because I have a sister who was willing to sponsor my education with an available fund of 16,000 Cad for a start and she is based in Canada with her family.
I have attached the reasons the gave for my refusal.
What is the best course of action? Has their been anyone who has appealed their visa refusal and was successful? If so, can you refer me to a good immigration lawyer that will appeal for me (I suppose it is an immigration lawyer that will do)?
Please, I need help o, gurus in the house.[/
Same note for everyone They think they’re smart sha |

Frankrobbn1: CAIPS is the previous name before it was changed to GCMS note. It's same thing. You can't be too sure if finances were among the reasons for your refusal. The GCMS note will be in a better position to provide clarity to the factual reason for your refusal. Hence, it's important you order for one ASAP! Thanks bro But the problem here is this most gcms notes the reasons are same generic |

Frankrobbn1: Your refusal grounds have already been tackled and explained by me in a post as at December 2017. Kindly refer to this link; https://www.nairaland.com/3948393/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/391#63425662
After going through the post, feel free to ask me anything and I'll be happy to assist you. Also, order your CAIPS file as that will give us a clearer picture of the reason for your refusal.
Ps: Pardon me if I'm referring you all to my previous posts, but I'm doing this so you all would know that all your concerns and questions have already been answered on several occasions on this thread for over the past 2 years plus until now. Do good by reading the past threads and gaining valuable information that will be helpful in your Canadian Study Visa pursuit!
It shall end in praises for everyone! Thanks a lot bro God bless you richly for me o Please is CAIPS file same as gcms note ? Since they didn’t add finance means that aspect is okay right? |
I regret to hear your visa was rejected.... There are trusted websites you can use to order your GCMS notes. This forum strongly prohibits the advertisement of third party websites. I will urge you to check the internet as well as the reviews of people before using any site to order for your file.
Also, do well by sharing your profile: Your intended program, previous studies, level of education, sponsor, institution, as well as the refusal grounds etc.. This will give us a clue on what went wrong with your application and possibly advice you on how to prepare an airtight application. It shall end in praise Amen

rippyblogger: Good evening guys, I received my GCMS notes.
I have reviewed the application. Given family ties or economic motives to remain in Canada, the applicant's incentive to remain in Canada may outweigh their ties to their home country. The applicant's plan of studies appears vague and poorly documented. The applicant's prior travel history is insufficient to count as a positive factor in my assessment. Weighing the factors in this application. I am not satisfied the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application. Please how did you order your note ? Help a brother |
