I usually do not comment on threads like this but today lemme leave my 2cents. Firstly I feel arguing about wether God's throne is symbolic or not is unnecessary. No one can completely understand God. Infact we are still struggling to understand his creation. Secondly, trying to understand spiritual things with logic only is madness. The bible says God is a spirit and they that worship him must do so in spirit and in truth. We also understand from the Bible that God is omnipresent this means that he is everywhere at the same time. Therefore his throne is both symbolic and otherwise. He is God. He sits on the throne in heaven as a king and also dwells in us at the same time. The way you see or experience him depends on your relationship with him. |
