We live in a highbrow area in Ogun state with one Kid of 2 years. My wife is not working, she is attending a university in Ogun state where we lived. My wife always watch African Magic, Zee World or running from one prayer house to another. She does not respect me at all. Living with her for 3 years now is hell on earth.

Yesterday, she told me that she attended a program conducted by a prayer ministry and the the General Overseer, a woman told her to bring a bag of rice as a seed. I told her I don't have money to buy a bag of rice for a ministry I don't know anything about. She got angry and told me that I must give her the money before I go to work. To my greatest surprise, she block the door and told me that I am not going anywhere until I give her the money for the bag of rice that the woman of God need the rice that yesterday. I got angry and tried to push her, she gave me a heavy slap and began to shout and insulting me using English so that every neighbour will hear. I was so ashamed and forced my myself out of the flat, she ran after me, held my clothe and tear it down.

I return back to my flat, carry a cable wire and beat her until she couldn't stand up. I'm an operation manager in my company, I went to work, took excuse and went to police station. I carried two police to arrest the general overseer, when we got there, she started swearing that she did not tell my wife to bring any rice, that it is my wife that volunteer to bring. The police did not arrest her again. I returned to office and notify her parents.

Her parents came in the night and after I explained to them, they insulted their daughter and apologize to me. I told my wife to follow her parents she refused.

So about 12:00 midnight, my wife started again, threatening me that she will deal with me, talking loudly again that I called her parents to come and insult her and she will pay me back in a way that I will regret knowing her.

When I couldn't sleep, I went out of the house at about 2:00AM to look for a near-by hotel to sleep. Immediately I entered the hotel, a young lady standing in front of the hotel followed me to the reception. I was thinking she want to book a room as well. The receptionist told me that the available room is 17, 000. I accepted and paid. I was directed to the room and as I entered, somebody knocked the door. I open the door and it was the young lady that followed me to the reception when I was entering the hotel. Before I knew she entered the room and said, "oga, I will do you well, na just 4,000 you go give me". She started touching me and I told her to stop it. I was so disturb by wife problems and I needed someone to talk with. So I accepted the lady. We spent the night together and had sex twice. This is my first time of having sex with another woman since I married in 2019.

I am always at home with my family when I return from work and I think my wife is taking that for granted. I will be going out from now to meet other women. I am completely tired of the marriage and I am considering marrying another wife that can give me peace and respect.

Performing better than a disaster doesn't make GEJ a success. Have you seen the Evil contract they signed to privatize our power sector? A leader that truly love Nigeria and wants to drive unemployment down cannot play with issues of power...
How do you sell Power distribution to companies that cannot metre customers in 8 years? How do you expect companies that cannot metre customers to distribute Electricity? Do you remember service charges of 750 back then? A company that does not distribute a single Electricity is rewarded with service charges.

Rebasing the GDP is the process of replacing an old base year with a more recent base year to keep up with the evolution in prices. Constant price estimates are then recalculated in terms of the prices of the new base year and provides a reference point to which future values of the GDP are then compared.
The last time we rebase was in 1990. The government only did rebase to reflect current reality after 24 years and you think that is economic development under Goodluck Jonathan....lol. The problem of this country is the Citizens.

I'm 100% sure you blame Buhari for Power failure when the person you are calling a hero over saw the privatization of power to Companies that can't even metre customers after 8 years. He even gifted them monthly service charge fee of 750 even when they do not distribute Electricity. He over saw turn around maintenance of our refineries that didn't produce a single refined product and yet he is the best Hero Nigeria has.
The fact that this administration is a disaster doesn't excuse the fact that GEJ just like other politicians failed this great nation.

OP, you are free to make your wife the head of your home - just don't shove it down our throats. One of the best things that life gave us was freewill.

After an experience I had in secondary school I learnt to ALWAYS hear the both sides of a story. That man should have been granted a press conference and say his piece. Even if I see the devil today I will still want to hear his side of the story then let me be the judge of it’s authenticity. Nobody has bothered to hear this man’s story. As much as I hate bringing this here, I need advice on ways to go about this..is it right for a father to drag his wife wealth with his son, knowing fully well, the son is now a grown man.

My mom left us with lot of properties she acquired as inheritance from her father and mother side, been the only surviving child, while she was still around some relatives wanted to grab some of it...claiming she's a woman...but seeing she had a grown up son which was me they had to maintain and stay on their lane... besides my mom was never the sluggish type.

Now, my dad is trying to drag this property with me, saying he wants to sell some of the land without even informing me... he his claiming some of house rents and lavishing it on frivolities anyhow.

Yes he's my father, he trained me up to this stage that I am, but by right I thought Those properties are mine already.since it's inheritance that's supposed to be passed down to her offsprings.....if am wrong please someone should tell me.

The war in Ukraine is the litmus test that shows assymetrical warfare is the best way for a smaller nation to effectively fight a larger country.

For instance, Russian tanks that cost millions of dollars were no match for javelin missiles that cost thousands of dollars.

The Russian S400 Missile System that cost $300million was basically a pile of junk because Ukraine was using $6000 drones to blow up their fuel supplies.

This war truly exposed Russian incompetence. They may be good at defending their territory, but they're clueless at taking over others.

Putin is best adviced to eat the humble pie and call it a day.
