Henry240: Pretty good actually . The PLZ-45 is one of the world's best selling 155mm howitzers. It's Chinese, I reckon when the requirement for a new 155mm comes, it would be one of the front-runners.
very high indeed but are we not doing the same mistake ? depending on one country for everything ... I love chinese they are a good ally but we are on earth ...
Henry240: AFSF are like a Task Force, Specialized Task Force. They are made up of guys from the Navy SBS, Air Force Regiment and Army Special Forces. They are organized and funded by the ONSA.
They are not Rangers and they are not SAS. They combine capabilities and perform tasks similar to both the Rangers and SAS, a mix of both.
ok I see then after the war, AFSF is finish ? or they are plans to reorganise everything ?
gottfried21: Breaking News:Hundreds of Ivorian soldiers have mutineed against their commanders and have taken control of several cities...There is also reportedly raging gun battles going on... Possible Coup
Ivorian Forces
something about money not a coup their government promise them 5 000 000fcfa + a house after the war lol
Henry240: These. We no longer build the Mowag or Steyr.
oh ok when they put APC I think about an APC ... not an MRAP, they kept ARA MRAP very secret no picture nothing I heard that the army was testing the vehicle look like they like it.
tdayof: Much more than NAF. what's the army buying sef? MRAP,TANKS?
NA created 2 new Divisions 8 Division and 6 Division. For me is to equip them my opinion ... and maybe some stuff for north east, sambissa will become a training center, but for sure I see more Mraps maybe ARA MRAP ... let wait and see
Vikkie14: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Today marks the Beginning of a New Week, it marks also the Start of a New Month and most importantly, it Ushered in the Beginning of a New Year.... Na tear rubber ooooo, no be tokunbo or fairly used.... May today marks the beginning of peace the world over and mark the start of terrorism downfall. Pray we witness lesser terrorism and war this year. Compliment.
jakeporeshenko: Such great news, couldn't come at a better time !! Almost like a Christmas present, I guess the chief of army staff is really a man of his words.
No more hiding place for BHT's inside Sambisa. Job well done to our fighting men and women.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHzdtKzQYNI " it is not when their is war that we practice to fight " Brig. Gen Olusegun Ajano this man is so smart, I would like to see him more involved in the modernisation prossess of our Armed Forces, he knows what he is talking about Im very happy ! Thank you to our Armed forces and also to all those animals that make life very hard for those bastars im talking about the legendary Mosquito ! and the Snaks ! ouuurraaaa
BlackBaron: ^^^ Though easier said than done. It's necessary for our government to have had checks at very local levels to prevent ideologies, especially external types with parallel mindsets to the country's government. Hez might seem less harmful than shitty state but they remain a threat and when become very entrenched, they suddenly become as powerful as a state in their own way. In Lebanon, Hez and their national army are in some sort of stand offish scenario. The Americans trying to prevent the the further weakening of the state's, try to supply their army with sizeable arms to prevent being usurped by Hez which also gets continued supplies from Iran.
Correct ! and I m very happy that at least DSS dosnt play games ... they always take action first after they explaine. they deserv more support.
Ok guys here is a video about Zakzaky and what he was doing before being arrested by DSS. The hezbollah axis... in the comment "There will be a civil war in Nigeria" ...
jln115: Don't mind aljazeera....remember the whole Spycable saga!! They said it was like the next Snowden of leaks, yet when they actually released the documents, there was literally nothing substantial!!
ALJAZEERA ARE BIASED AND SYMPATHISER, I am a muslim I tell Aljazeera are biased crazy people trying to justify terrorism all around the world. look at what they say about al shabaab all the shit ... just like France24 who are trying to justify France bullshit in Africa ... but is ok lets go back to our topic
Nok234:

In my opinion, we don't need that (water tankers and Replenishment oiler). We are mostly only going to operate in our EEZ, Gulf of Guinea and West-Africa.
We desperately need, again in my opinion, 2 Makassar type LPDs. The Makassars would play a dual role of replenishment and Landing ship.
Makassar-class landing platform dock after some wiki I can say you found something very interesting very cost effective, a good alternative to a amphibious assault ship, The statistics are very good... Hope they will consider it... but still we can go for Coastal tanker ships ex: Panarea-class oil tanker.
Henry240: Government also needs to invest in the North. E mak sense sy u comot dat link, u 4 don fall our hand scatter. Abeg mk u no open our ynash like that again. Na dat thin wey dem dey discuss inside room, no b wetin dem dey bring come parlour we visitors siddon.
Henry240: For littoral and EEZ protection, the Nigerian navy now has 5 OPVs, 33 IPVs/MPVs, 750+ Inshore patrol crafts. If we add the 3 combattante class vessels which are currently undergoing a face-lift, that number rises to 36, if then add SDB III we get a total of 37 vessels. 5 OPVs, 37 MPV/IPV and 750+ Onshore Patrol Crafts, 5 A109e helicopters, 2 AW-139 and 4 Bell helicopters, 11 in all.
The number of assets available is enough to patrol Nigeria's 5,000 creeks and Exclusive Economic Zone.
We need to refocus our efforts in rebuilding our combat fleet. We should add 4 Fast Attack Crafts, 3 Landing Crafts, 2 Corvettes, 2 Frigates, a Hydrographic Ship, 2 ASW/mine counter measure helicopters. Possibly retool navy AW-139s to ASW.
More Combat Ships, more water tanker ships will be needed and Replenishment oiler. and if a President buy one of my favourite ship Electronic surveillance ship he can add a Yatch for him lol
