Two different blank screen ish, if it's the first one alone, I'll be tine with it. But the other one, it's not good to the heart.

What im noticingnis that the issues are not that bad that is why you are enjoying Pie on your A3.

Blank screen that have no forward ever and backward never.

But I hope it goes back to normal within seconds

The ish now is what you get after the switch and how you can cope with is what will get you going.

Warning switch to android 9 from android 8 on a3 is not a child's play..

Everything looks great but the blank screen?

The notification message on WhatsApp is dope on meatpie

I just hope it won't be unusable

The only two issues I have is just screen flicking that will just go off for upto 10 sec or less. Battery is still what am trying to figure out correctly now...


All other things are doing fine. No lag everything operations smoothly..

Is the phone usable? When I flashed mine, the screen would go off and refuse to come up even after waking it up for some time and it even freezed on me.

Please keep on updating us if after installing updates the phone got better.

Whenever I flashed meat pie, the phone got laggy so I decided to keep Oreo

There is one in play store but I'm not using it. The one I'm using I got it from apkmirror but the developers are the same people.

I have never used the default launcher that came with this phone.

Umidigi A3. I got this device on the 11th of May and im still in love with it like the first day.

When we talk about value for money, we are talking about these A3 series.

And the device is very beautiful. Whenever I take it out of the pouch people gather around me to ask where I bought it.

I did flash Android 9 on my A3 but it didn't run smoothly, there were so many bugs so I had to reflash Android 8 again

I got mine on the 11th of May and it is still my daily driver!

Just updated to the most resent software on Android 9.0.

*Minor bug fixes

And NO, I didn't root my device.
On the SP flash tools, I was using "download only" but didn't work so I used "format+download" and it formatted. I then chose "download only" and within 10mins it was done.

Seriously, you'd enjoy it.

I did that on my A3 and it didn't run as smooth as i had hoped. I will try that.

I successfully upgraded my UMigidi A3 Pro from Android 8.1 to 9.0.
I must say the device is mad.
I enjoy it more mehn.

A5 Pro is a goal but the size might be my turn off.
For those comparing UMigidi devices to other kwe kwe devices, wake up. I took my time to check devices in the price range and none could stand.

UMigidi has given quality for very cheap amounts.a

Did you root your phone first or u just flashed the ROM without rooting?

the computers are I am currently using requires admin passwords so I will have to wait for the IT guy to come back from study leave and help me install some drivers first

umidigi A3 it isn't bad at all, the phone does get hot a lil bit but not to an extent that it is annoying. you cant find any phone like this one for the kind of the money you forked out'

Buy it and enjoy, till you wish to upgrade (if priced appropriately, you would sell it easily).......

The phone is too good for its price. The only problem I have is that it wasn't upgraded to Android Pie
