I'm really enjoying my A3. People down here are envying my phone and but they are really scared of online buying.

I don't ever regret buying this phone!

I'm very sensitive to heat. A little temperature difference and I'm not comfortable.

I have only installed usual apps on my phone. And their power usage are ok with WhatsApp and Opera mini taking the lead.

I've switched to 3G on MTN and it is kinda better. But I'd be missing 4G on GLO.

I just hope the next update will be able to solve that

This hotness, is network related...... Try using 4G on another network or when you change location ob the same network, i bet you would understand the cause of this devices heating up........

I only experienced hotness on the first week of using the device now it never gets hot anymore

I played with my wife's A30 on the weekend, the phone looks and feel premium. It is very responsive and the camera is a bomb. On the back it spots normal camera and wide angle camera.

That's true, the only stock android is found on Pixel phones bro. These other ones are not scock android but near-stock android

I'm also considering their budgets, and they are not heavy users. They mostly use Facebook and WhatsApp and takes pictures only occasionally!

One advice for your friends......... Umidigi A5 Pro...........

I will be jealous of one of my friends get his hands on the A5 before I do. Im planning of upgrading to it later this year, at the moment I'm busy doing some savings for something I have to accomplish!

I saw something here soke while back, like gcam being installed on umidigi. I have umidigi one, is there any chance I can install on it as well. And if yes, please include the process

I'm sure it will work. My bet is that those gcams will work on any MTK device

how were you able to install it?

There is a link in the previous threads, what you have to do is just to download the gcam and see which one works. There are three download options in that link.

After downloading, install the apk just like any other apk.

I'm from South Africa and I have been active in this thread for months now. I have learnt a lot and I believe others have learnt a lot from me also.

If it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have known about this brand. I learnt about Umidigi here and then went to YouTube for reviews and ultimately decided to purchase A3 which I am currently enjoying .

If I want to know something which have been tackled already here I can always go back in previous pages of this thread but if this thread was a WhatsApp group, all this wouldn't have happened.

I'm against the WhatsApp group.

Touch and hold the recent apps option! It will work. I discovered it just yesterday

So far so good, the phone is really beautiful and most of my friends want me to order for them also .

It looks premium and feels premium too.

The phone is very responsive and it handles everything I throw at it with ease. It doesn't lag even when multitasking or using the split screen.

The only downside is the battery. I think it is due to occasional overheating on the upper part of the handset.

I give it 8/10 overall!
