I did format all+ download. I will try upgrade tomorrow.

It freezes when opening most apps and it was even laggy.

I flashed it successfully but it was buggy so I had to go back to 8.1

I'm back on 8.1 though but I'm happy that my precious phone is back

the experience wasn't that too fluid so I flashed 8.1 again and still the imei number issue is solved

I flashed meat pie on my umidigi a3 and the imei number issue was solved. now I'm back

If rooting is as straightforward as flashing then I will be able to do it without a oroblem.

I don't..... But this issue happened to my Umidigi Z1 Pro.... The initial chap I took it too, could not do it.... Luckily, i knew another good hand, within 24 hours...... My phone was ready........

And you paid approximately how much in dollars?

Nope, the baseband is now corrupt......... A good technical hand, can rectify it...........

If you know how to do that you can give step by step instructions. I will be very glad.

Google how to use mtk engineering tool to rewrite imei number. Hope u still have ur carton with the IMEI written on it. Can't remember if u have to root Sha. But try and give it a shot

I have tried using it but the CDS Information option which is useful for changing the IMEI is not available and trying to install a CDS information APK isn't possible.

The odds seems to be stacked against me at this moment in time!

The imei would be recovered and restored........

I will try using Maui tool on Monday but I don't succeed then I will consider rooting the device

droidtips. I did everything but I forgot to backup IMEI numbers an now i cant connect sim cards to networks.

about to flash my A3. Scared as hell.

I really haven't done it before so I have no idea how to go about it but I will try.

My Umidigi A3 restarts itself for about an hour or so before it finally boot! It does this maybe 5 times in a day and it is so annoying! I have done factory reset but it is not helping at all.


It restarts and when the Umidigi logo appears and also that phrase "Powered by Android" appears it restarts itself again and this goes on for an hour while the device itself becomes increasingly hot!

Anyone who have experienced this before?

What is normal Android?! I've never seen it on Tecno, Infinix, Gionee, Umidigi....so, if it's normal recording on Android, it should be on at least the 1st 3 devices na.

I midi go has it, I'm using A3
