I'm super curious to know how it will look like since there will be alot of software adjustment and changes I wonder which will be superior in looks though one tho. The MIUI 13 update will be big next year!

I hope they find a way to bring back animations and features that they have removed from some Redmi devices

Was able to update using the ROM I downloaded earlier it's looking good so far.

But when it booted for the first time it was a little bit bugy do I had to force restart and so far so good

I received this update awhile back wasn't having enough data then and it disappeared.. Do well to inform us if some things were removed..

Floating window is still around
Second space is also still around
The option to lock apps so that they are kept running on the background is nowhere to be seen( It might have just been moved somewhere)

Now there is Navigation bar if you use gesture navigation

I just updated my RN8 to Android 11.

have you tried a budget sh^t from Samsung with the heavy one ui which some people consider as ground breaking while its quite ok especially with the lagging exynos that Samsung uses in every budget phone from years , Samsung budget phones lag more than Xiaomi
my friend has a redmi note 8 and it doesn't lag unlike Samsung with sh^tty soc and heavy one ui that has so much bloatware also one ui has ads that cannot be deactivated unlike miui
but some people still consider it as ground breaking lol

I started using RN8 last year October which I subsequently lost mid January this year and bought another RN8 early Feb, I have never encountered any bugs in MIUI. Xiaomi is doing the most compared to most brands. I have never encountered any bugs that have rendered my handset to be unusable.
Infact MIUI is one of the best Android skins

It is how it should be, but you can remove the dark background but switching from dark mode to light mode

I downloaded SetEdit app on play store
After opening the app:
'DeviceLevelList'
Change values from v1.c1g1 to v1.c3.g3 and then reboot.

We will get Android 11 first and then MIUI 12.5 will follow. I'm not sure whether our devices will get MIUI 13 or not.

Updates on note 8 is incredibly slow. At this Period were still getting minor rix for miui 12. Miss my note 7

Atleast we will be getting Android 11 and from Android 9 that isn't bad.
