I'm the one who came up with this idea after reading somewhere that Redmi 6A has an MTK version which some guys have managed to port gcamfor it so I knew straight away that I will work for our Umis. I also provided the link.

I just love exploring new things and that's what we should allall str for

You should use the second one because HDR+ is working perfectly while on the third link it is missing.

What I love about gcam is that it reproduces the real colours and there is no loss ofderail while on stock camera the photos tends to be more shiny and washed out.

can you drop picture sample? I just tested the portrait mode in the 3rd gcam and it's actually far than what you will get in the phone camera

I will upload the images tomorrow or late today. at the moment I'm too busy and not allowed to use my phone

Gcam won't work without cam2api being enabled. Which am not sure umidigi has. And gcam works on mtk phone, roll over to the nokia thread for confirmation.

It does work even without the Camera2api being enabled, it is just that you won't be able to get/use all the features like HDR+

It is gcam. Did you try all three of them and see which one is better. They are just not recent gcam versions

Then you should be able to get better SOT.

On my A3 the brightness is always set to minimum since the phone is very bright except when I'm outdoors in the sun.

I downloaded Google camera today but I'm yet to use it.

I will upload photos once I have used it .

Nongo123, I expect SA to have upgraded network facilities....... What's your heating up experience?....

The network facilities here are very good. I use MTN and Telkom on my A3 and they are always on 4G. Download speeds are very fast and even WiFi because today I was able to download stuff on a network that my J1 was very slow on.

The only time I experience heating is when I'm charging and also using the phone except for a rare moment yesterday when I was using the camera.

Best time to judge a phones durability, is after about 4/5 days. After all updates and syncing are fully completed.......

This is my second day. My SOT has drastically improved since yesterday where I got barely 4 hours. I'm sure after a week I will be getting close to 8 hours of SOT.

This just looks beautiful. I'm even using gesture navigation. But if the this launcher drains my battery I will uninstall it tomorrow.

Finally after a month of waiting. I received my A3 and people are envious of me. Everybody is asking me about the name of the phone.

When I powered it on, I got one update waiting for me.
