Yes ma'am. It is because of the high altitude level of their training sites, which makes running in low altitude places like Lagos a piece of cake.
I think ayam going to start training against next year's edition at any of obudu or mambilla, so that I can win the race. Already thinking of how to spend the money

Alexk2:
I can never justify the action of the Herdman and if you agree it's an agelong practice by this herdsmen, you should know they can't just stop with our mere campaigns and condemnation on social media...govt at all levels need to educate them over time as well as provide workable alternative for them and we need responsible leaders to undertake this task not those we're having presently. That said, we still can't use the error/mistake of the Herdman as an excuse to cover up for what the man did....he'll have killed people for crying loud and the fact that he rammed some of those cows gives an impression of "intentional committal". If it's just one, it's understandable, not like this.

For your sake and that of others, I'm a Christian and yoruba guy but I just can't defend what's wrong just because of cases of attacks by some herdsmen. To start with, not all of them are bad and just like I felt bad and pained for an offense committed against an igbo man, I felt same when it's against a Fulani man. If you're not okay with that, deal with it!
Deal with what? You should deal with the fact that by erroneously thinking that the killing of these cattle presupposes intent, is not only skewed but presumptuous. Read through your earlier post, and tell me that you are as fair as you want me to believe. Cattle crossing the road looks very much okay to you, but the accident is not. What if the man had died? You will still pass the bulk onto the FG and states for not enforcing the use of grazing reserves by the herdsmen. A strange and uncommon accident happened and you were quick to call for the arrest of the man on the basis of intention! Mind you, road users does not cover animals of whatever kind. Your "fairness" is in question

Alexk2:
Whichever way you look at it, if the man had been careful enough this magnitude of loss wouldn't occur. We are not just talking of one or two cows here. ....meaning he would have killed many people ordinarily.
Let's learn to reason objectively...if you celebrate this action, you aren't really different from those terrorizing in southern kaduna.
And who is celebrating this action? Besides, for how long shall we continue to have these events of cattle blocking major highways and runways. Have you ever had the experience of driving on a major road, and then suddenly see a hapless herdsman watch his cattle cross the road without any prior notice? You should reason objectively and know that the age long practice is not only risky but stupid. The fact that you are more concerned with the arrest of a man who got hospitalised for no fault of his betrays your sympathy for those terrorising southern Kaduna

This is bad...the man should be arrested and prosecuted; this is someone's labour and investment.
What do you expect when cattle occupy highways? If It was the other way round, where the man died, would the herdsman be arrested and prosecuted

It will take billions of dollars to pursue agricultural, technological and industrial revolution. With our lack of discipline and wastage of our Natural resources, how are we to achieve these. It is time we sit down, put our heads together and come up with road maps to success. Until then, we will remain followers.
The critical question is, on what platform do followers sit down and put heads together? The political party or electoral system is in favour of corrupt political elites. The followers need a rallying point for such a course of action.

They just simply still pained by the defeat of there corrupt hero, "Ineffectual Buffon"

It's simply pains from the past. Nothing more
One of the main cardinal points why he was voted into power was because of his perceived anti corruption stance. Alas, he started failing by taking several months before appointing a cabinet that does look as corrupt as that of his predecessor. Fast forward to the present, many of his aides identified to have questionable source of wealth have remained shielded, and are not answerable to anyone. Some of his economic plans of diversifying from oil into other sectors, has seen him very busy prospecting for oil in the chad basin and elsewhere at a time when oil prices are so low. There is no clear cut vigorous pursuit of agricultural, technological or industrial revolution going on.

m just thinking aloud.......
During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph Stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, Stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Standing in front of audience, He started to pluck the feathers of the live chicken off one by one.

The chicken trembled in pain, blood tricking out of its pores. It gave out grievous cries, but Stalin being a cruel dictator continued without remorse plucking the feathers out until the chicken was completely Unclad.

After which, he threw the chicken on the ground. The Unclad chicken was staggering in pain. Stalin goes into his pocket and from his pockets, he took out some chicken food and started to throw it at the poor & helpless creature.

The poor chicken in pain started eating and Stalin started walking towards his seat. As he walked away, he kept dropping some feeds on the floor & the chicken followed him and sat feeding from his feet.

Joseph Stalin then turned to members of his political party leadership. He said, "This chicken represents the people".

"You must disempower them, brutalise them, beat them up, starve them and then leave them".

"If you do this, go into your pocket & give them peanuts when they are in that helpless and desperate situation, they will blindly follow you for the rest of their life, worshiping you".

"They will think you are a hero forever. They will forget that, you're responsible for their sorrowful situation in the first place."

Breath taking, isn't it ?

Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media.

Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicament.

#Could this be the Nigerian citizens situation presently?# In ma noble Opinion, i think it is.
Copied.
Hmmm, such a pitiable but true analogy.

We've heard one side of the story... so we cannot make an objective and unbaised assessment of the whole issue until we hear from the DSS.

Meanwhile, I strongly did not agree with the part which says that the alleged DSS operatives collected the victim's monies...

All prophets of doom trying to smear the image of DSS are on a futile journey and will never live to see that happen.
Your closing statement betrays the opening. You have refused to wait for the said DSS defense before attacking. How can you strongly agree with something that you never witnessed. The case must get to court for adjudication

Those are 5.56mm bullets, they are not exclusively used by the DSS. The person you quoted has a point, there is no hard evidence linking this incident to the DSS.
What happens to the serial numbers on those bullets. The alleged girl would be invited for questioning and cross examination by lawyer when the case gets to court. Then, we will see how water tight their defense would be.
