Anambra indigenes across all party divides are not violent in nature. So don't think the 'Rivers of blood' scenario will play out here. Then Ikpeazu is busy siphoning state funds to influence the Supreme court judgement due soon, while traumatised civil servants, who have not been paid for over 7 months, have turned government offices in Abia state to mini-markets as they try to survive by diversifying to trading.

Peter Obi the hypocrite! Pretending that you love biafra as if we have forgotten how you ordered the massacre of over 5000 MASSOB members in Okpoko, Ogbaru LGA in 2006. In London, new roads are built over medevial pathways which is why London has narrow roads. Demolition destroys history. The only time demolition should be sanctioned is when a building is blocking water channels, is structurally faulty or is standing directly in the path of a road construction. When you demolish buildings just because you want to widen roads/beautify an area/eliminate ghettos, you are only transferring such ghettos to another part of town that you may need to demolish another day. The solution is to grow the economy and when the incomes of the people improve, they would knock down derelict buildings themselves and erect new and modern ones in their stead. Besides, state governments presently do not have spare cash to pay compensations for demolitions as a result of the APC-induced recession.

Jos is only cool at mid-mornings and late afternoons/early evenings. At night (from 8pm) till early morning (9am or thereabout), the cool wind gives way to a biting cold that feels like hell.

I never missed the weather in Jos. Biting cold at night and early in the morning, unless you had one nyarinya with u. What attracts me to Jos is the serenity and natural endowments.

I will not waste my time advertising Jos. That is the job of Jos people to do. But having seen both towns extensively, I can say firmly that Jos is light years ahead of Enugu. Don't forget to factor in the fact that Jos is SIX times larger than Enugu in terms of landmass. Aside Ind. L/O, New Haven and GRA, the rest of Enugu is either old school, with outdated buildings, or downright slum. Don't forget Obiagu, the most populated slum in the entire south east is in Enugu.

In two generations, Enugu cannot measure up to Jos. In terms of FG presence, liveability and standard of living. Go to rural villages 250KM from Jos and see the way Wawa people who were unlucky to get jobs in Anambra are migrating there with the dream of finally making money to move into Jos town eventually.
