Anambra state was a mess under Peter Obi. He slowed down the tempo of development that Anambra state was getting under Ngige. Anybody saying otherwise is clearly deranged.

I remembered when I came to Awka Newly as A student and Ngige was the governor, it was so difficult finding house to rent off campus, it came to a time my friend Stanley Nwadibia and I was contemplating of ranting a zinc house and install Air condition to reduce the heat that we will experience before someone linked us to government house Awka but, within three Years that Obi came on board many Ndi Anambra started building Flats and self contain house's even single Rooms. In Awka before Peter Obi the only place u could take a girl out is at Coca-Cola joint inside unizik main campus but, after Obi came on board private investors like Mr. Biggs and other outlets starts opening their outlets in Awka... Comparing Enugu to Awka is the zenith of madness! Enugu is an extension of Awka. Anambra gave Enugu life and we have the power to take it back.

...and when you go outside enugu town(which anambra people built up anyway), to the other towns and villages of enugu state, they are deserted and empty. And you begin to wonder where all the Wawa people ran to. Just got some good news that Dr. Godwin Maduka has acquired large expance of land at the Millennium city- Awka to develop highrise buildings for high profile office spaces/event centers! This is part of his effort to replicate in Awka what he did below in his villa.

He should have built this edifice in Awka. I don't know which corporate bodies will occupy this mammoth office inside that village. He should have built this in Awka and then built something more modest in umuchukwu. This building is not in sync with the environment of a rural setting like umuchukwu. What Tony Nwoye is doing in his own village with constituency funds that is meant for the entire Anambra east/Anambra west should even be investigated to ascertain whether the funds were used judiciously and equitably.
