Finally, you responded with your real moniker globemoney, aka anambradota. But it doesn't change the fact that enugu is a glorified semi-urban settlement. A town lacking water for domestic use by its residents is not different from a village. But let's not call enugu a village for the sake of rich anambra men living in ind. layout and new haven even if the other 90% of enugu is more or less a village. Till date, anambra continues to supply enugu town with fresh water via tankers on a daily basis and the situation won't change in the forseeable future.

I knew my comment on the water crisis in enugu state would unsettle some people who love telling themselves lies to feel good. The fact is that we have to say these things so that the government of ugwuanyi can sit up and do what is required to lift enugu from its third world status. 90% of Enugu houses don't have running water due to lack of underground water source and a breakdown of the water works in ajalli and oji river. You enter the house of any average enugu resident and your nostrils are immediately assaulted by the offensive odour from shit-full toilets waiting to be flushed by water deliveries via tankers from anambra state. It is unfortunate that we keep showing photos of the facade of ind. layout and new haven to deceive gullibles when the real enugu is water thirsty and hygiene inside most of the houses there are disgusting to say the least. Enugu should give her people water if it wants to rise above its present status of a glorified semi urban settlement.

I propose that we start instructing anambra children from an early age that wawa and abakaliki people are not real igbos. The water distribution system at ajalli and oji river have all collapsed and none of them is functional. Enugu residents depend on long hauls of water tankers from Anambra state for their water needs. Enter the house of an average enugu resident and you immediately perceive the repulsive odour of clogged toilets begging for the next water delivery from anambra state.

More like it! Kudos to Obiano for doing this. Long overdue. All Onitsha and Igbo cities littered with our gigantic multi-storey residences need are well paved streets. I also hope they will cover the gutters and also construct pedestrian walkways. Asking for green areas in the already cramped and narrow streets is asking for too much. Again,Kudos. Let him remember Awada and other areas.In my opinion,there should be a long term phase-by-phase plan to pave all inner streets in Onitsha,Awka and Nnewi. Next should be to enact a law that will mandate the landlords to repaint their houses once every 5 years at least. Most of the buildings in Eastern cities are solid and firm. Outward maintenance is the bane. Since the State water corporation is dead,at least let every building sink boreholes to provide water for the residents.

Anambra has abundance of boreholes. Anambra has been supplying enugu state with water via tankers for ages now.

You and who wants a female governor? From your comments, you seem to be an enemy of APGA. Which state and which party in the southeast has done more for women than Anambra and APGA? Deputy governor under peter obi was a woman, house speakers under peter obi and obiano have been women. APGA has a woman in her BOT and many more.

For the past one year, Ijaw militants in rivers state no longer go to govt house port harcourt to collect their monthly settlements. They are telling Wike that they can no longer support him when their own brother is contesting on the platform of APC. Wike is steadily loosing his hold of rivers state as the days go by.

Amaechi is playing his game right. Wike will not be able to withstand the firepower of APC in rivers state come 2019. Amaechi seems very determined to shoot him down.
