gurnam:You are writing poo. Give APGA and PDP a level playing field to challenge each other in the south east and every trace of PDP will be wiped away. What has helped them to keep the states they have was the federal might they used to wield but that is no more. |
EternalTruths:APGA doesn't need to do any talking. The party is much known, much loved and well grounded in Abia state. PDP don't the federal might to rig anymore and APC is a taboo in Igboland. APGA is taking Abia in 2019. |
ANSMEDIA:Is this a palliative or a total reconstruction of that section? And is it a state or federal government contract? |
EternalTruths:Achuzia says he is Igbo doesn't mean that all of his kinsmen agree they are. Igbo denial is rife in anioma and it will be counterproductive to allow them fool the Igbo race into falling for their trap of anioma state that will eventually metamorphose into a seperate anioma tribe. Some of them are just reluctantly accepting the Igbo tag in order to tap into the grace of being a major tribe in nigeria which would insulate them from oppression from the ijaw and urobo that they share delta state with. Give them anioma state and they won't see any need for the Igbo cover again. |
aniomafirstson:Adada state will never see the light of day because those lowlives and ugly thieves want to steal ayamelum in anambra into their wishful state proposal. Anyone thinking of taking any part of anambra in order to share in our divine superiority has a better chance of adding the entire kano state into their new state! |
Hanseel1:Bros, anioma state will never see the light of day. They don't even need the delta state assembly but it is us Igbos that hold their fate in our hands and I assure you that we will never sign off on creating another ikwerre situation close to our border. |
selemempe:Keep deceiving yourself. Adada or etiti state are both dead on arrival because no part of Anambra wants to leave and be joined to those lower beings as proponents of those two states are proposing. The only proposed state in Igboland that has the possibility of seeing the light of day is Aba state. |
Juliusmalema:I suspected as much. Something told me that the OP was a wawa pig but I tried to convince myself that their sophistication to create rift in Anambra had not gotten to that level. You now see why I call them fake Igbos. Wawa people are of mixed blood. Most of them were sired after their mothers were raped by fulani soldiers who captured nsukka without resistance in the war. They are always bitter that they can never measure up to anambra no matter how hard they try. |
Hanseel1:The OP is an afonja. He was trying hard to make it look like anambra is frustrating the creation of anioma state just to cause rift between anambra people and anioma people. Anambra doesn't care about other states and their ambitions as long as they don't tresspass on our territory and concerns. |
@Hanseel1 no anambra indigene wants to have anioma state created. They matter not to us. So just know that anyone who is claiming to be from anambra and is supporting the creation of anioma state is actually an impostor. Anambra already has large untapped oil and gas deposits across different parts of the state and it is common knowledge that anambra holds the largest onshore gas deposits in nigeria, that means our energy future is secure. Even most of the oil wells in anioma are already controlled by Seplat, a company owned by an anambra indigene. |
Ekitigate.. |
@Chiwude njaba state is not also feasible because they are proposing to cut parts of anambra which will never be allowed to happen. No single inch of anambra territory will be given up in the name of new state creation. That leaves Aba state and I am all in for that one. Aba state is the preferred proposed new state for the Igbo race. |
Juliusmalema:We know their plans but it won't work. Look at all they have in delta state and they still want to steal Igbo sixth state! They have the state capital, they have produced state governor and are guaranteed of periodically reaching that height with the zoning politics of delta state, they enjoy development with money from oil wells in ijaw, urobo, isoko lands, they have 8 local government areas (equivalent to bayelsa state), they are guaranteed of always producing a senator and so much more. So they have no basis for crying of marginalisation that would warrant them having their own state except that enemies of the Igbo race are using them to try and thwart the creation of a genuine Igbo state that will boost our capacity and leverage at the federal level. |
BabaRamota1980:They are trying to play smart. They want to use Igbo agitation for a sixth state to deceive us and if they get their state, they will turn around and pledge their full loyalty to bini kingdom. It is more sensible for the Igbo race to pick a new state from within the south-east so that our minds can rest assured that Igbos truly have a sixth state. |
asha9:Don't bother yourself. That one is an Obiano hater. Even if you show it pictures of the airport, it will still dismiss it as CGI. |
Creating anioma state will be a very wrong move that no sane anambra indigene will support. Anioma are not complete igbos. Geographically, they will still fall in south-south and igbos will lose out completely. |
Ngige should come back to APGA because he has lost his mojo since he joined APC. |
asha9:But it won't make much sense having two big hotels facing each other. One is going to run the other out of business. |
Niccoloimhotep:You are the one with bad intention who should be ignored because having gone over his comments, I don't see where he erred. You are pained because he wrote highly of Anambra state that you hate so much. The fact is that many rich delta igbos have commercial and residential properties in the onitsha metropolis. I personally know of 6 such persons. So the guy is correct. |
cjrane:That onitsha hotel is no longer feasible because of the new one being constructed just opposite it by my brother from oraukwu. It should be converted to an office complex instead. |
Aba state is more viable for the Igbo race. Creating anioma state is unintelligent. Anioma should remain in delta state until they agree on their identity. State creation doesn't come every christmas, so Igbos should take the opportunity wisely whenever it presents itself. The Igbo pretenders in delta state should be left where they are so that Igbo can have some claim in the south-south. Not after taking advantage of Igbo agitation for a sixth state in order to escape the pressure from urobo and ijaw, when they eventually get the anioma state, they start claiming anioma tribe as their new identity. It won't work. The ikwerres have taught us some unforgettable lesson in this regard. |
Only a mentally unstable slowpoke will boldly suggest that Onitsha is part of anioma! What is even anioma? Those confused tribes in delta who have always resented being called Igbos but relunctantly accept the delta-Ibo tag are not Igbo to me. I agree with juliusmalema that most of them are not Igbos (except the aniochas and oshimili people). The others are just like the colonized fulani people of abakaliki deceiving themselves that they are Igbos. Anambra is a monolithic state with one culture and language pattern and can never be divided in the name of state creation. |
OfficialAPCNig:Stop deceiving yourself. APGA will present an Igbo presidential candidate in 2019. |
OMANBALA1:My thoughts exactly. All the same, the spelling of 'abakiliki' on the signage is enough to tell them that they are eternally inferior and inconsequential to anambra state and our people. Just look at the picture of them standing close to the signage like beggars whose existence is tied to anambra. All of them ugly and looking like almajiris who were rounded up for burglary. |
horsepower101:LOL. Keep deceiving yourself. Ikpeazu that is still struggling with the pillars of Osisioma flyover and unpaid workers salaries for the past 3 years wants to build an enyimba city! |
globemoney:I disagree with certain opinions here but I don't want to prolong the debate any further. |
Globemoney, you are looking for argument where there should be none. Let me say it again. I am not against road dualization. I am against demolishing viable buildings in the name of road dualization. It is stupid and wasteful. |
oneeast:The cleansing and purification of Anambra state is a collective duty that must be pursued to its logical conclusion. |
Enugu has been a state capital much longer than Awka right from its days as the capital of the eastern region and it used the opportunity to host federal government agencies meant for the entire south east which attracted lots of job seekers, civil servants and their families. It is not an issue of road dualization. |
Globemoney, you are the one confusing yourself. I never said that dualisation is not good. Please do yourself some good by going back to read my first comment. It is childish of you to say dualization of roads is what makes a city liveable or modern. Really?? Ziks avenue was constructed with minimum demolitions because the original plan that Ngige had for that road was revised by peter obi. That is why zenith bank, fidelity bank, uba and many other buildings on that road that Ngige had initially marked for demolition were spared by obi and the width of the intended road expansion reduced significantly. Even Awka road Onitsha that Obiano wants to dualize will maintain the present road width and will not involve any major demolition except roadside kiosks and billboards. That is common sense. I won't argue with you about Naples anymore because it is obvious that you are ignorant in that aspect. |
cjrane, Obosi is not a slum. Don't put it in the same category with okpoko. Just because many of the roads there are not yet paved doesn't make it a slum. There are many streets in Lekki and Ajah that are not paved and millionaires with their exquisite mansions live on those streets.. Okpoko is a slum and it has to go because the majority of those who live there are not anambra indigenes. Obiano has his eyes set on that task and if he doesn't complete the task, his successor will also toe the same path. And another good thing that will come with this okada ban is that roads in Nkpor and Awada will be given more attention by every government in office. |
Globemoney, I will excuse your ignorance this once. Do you know what a commercial city is? You think it is a place with abundance of open markets? Naples is the third largest city in Italy after Rome and Milan. It didn't get there by being a sight-seeing destination. It has plenty of modern commercial and industrial concerns. So yes it is a commercial city. Dualisation of roads doesn't make a city liveable or modern. Proper road markings and sidewalks are enough. It is not only dualized roads that should have sidewalks but nigerian mentality have made our leaders think so. You demolish viable commercial and residential buildings just to have a dualized road and in their place, slums spring up, is that wisdom or stupidity? |
