United Nations Messenger of Peace is a title bestowed by the United Nations to "distinguished individuals, carefully selected from the fields of art, music, literature and sports, who have agreed to help focus worldwide attention on the work of the United Nations.

The messengers are initially chosen for a period of three years, although three of the current 13 messengers, Michael Douglas, Elie Wiesel and Jane Goodall have served for more than ten years.

The Messengers of Peace scheme was instigated in 1998 as a central addition to the system of UN goodwill ambassadors and honorary ambassadors, which has been run by the different UN agencies since 1954, when UNICEF appointed Danny Kaye as its first goodwill ambassador.

Whilst the goodwill and honorary ambassadors mainly promote the work of the UN agency they are ambassador for, the messengers of peace are intended to promote the work of the United Nations in general and are appointed directly by the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

You tried false marriage to EU citizen. So adding fraud to your record.
A student visa only allows very limited working BUT yours had ended so you were illegal.

The message is clear, hire a nannny to take care of your wards and treat them as you would want your boss to treat you at work. Its unfortunate that she transfered her anger to an innocent kid, but its high time people stop abusing young girls who should be in school or learning a trade and not been under madams servitude. Nigerian couples should plan their lives, give birth to the number of children you can take care of, do not rob other children/youths of their growing up. These happenings are warnings.

I completely understand your point but it still boils down to the fact that the pastors can only do so much. One single person cannot eradicate poverty in d whole world. We keep placing unrealistic demands on our pastors. No matter how much they give, people will still castigate them and expect them to give. Even if a pastor gives until he is completely penniless it wont satisfy human beings.
I don't support wanton extravagance but pastors should also be allowed to enjoy themselves from time to time. To me there is nothing wrong in a pastor celebrating his birthday and of course, the way pastor Chris, an international pastor will celebrate his birthday will be different from the way I will celebrate my birthday. I am surprised at people saying he shouldn't celebrate his birthday because Jesus never celebrated his birthday.

Hmmmmmm. That's serious. I think that amount is mind boggling. The only thing I can say is that I don't think the money is going into the pastor's pocket. I think there are various programs lined up for the celebration and the money is for the execution of d programs. That doesn't change d fact that that it looks somehow.

Bill gates is a billionaire who gives out an obscene amount of money to charities and funds all around the world. Recently he was pictured holidaying on a yatch with his family. People still castigated him for spending money on himself and his family, saying that the money could have been given to less privileged.
Pastor Chris has every right to spend his money the way he likes. He should not starve or suffer himself because he wants to help people.

I was watching Adeboye from Youtube and he said something I have never forgotten; he said God is not as talkative and the 'God told me' every minute crew are jokers. He said it was not until 450 years or so from Malachi that He spoke in Matthew. I was almost misled into marriage by a 'God told me' friend. Nowadays am wiser, so He told you? Let Him tell me as well

Now, the above letter just hit my email box. And I thought I should share a thought or two for the benefit of those who don't know why we are doing what we are doing.
Now, in this zone, there are twelve groups plus the zonal church. The twelve groups will give a total sum of N120,000,000.00 and the zonal church will give N100,000,000.00 making a total of N220,000,000.00 (equivalent of approximately USD $1.3 million dollars). Let us assume every zone in Nigeria alone gives $1 million dollars each, about $30 million dollars will accrue to one man. Ghana will give big, SA will not lag behind et cetera. Tell me why the man will not play God? This is aside the personal effects that will be sold on that day for tens of millions of dollars. Why should such a man admit to wrongdoing or take correction from a mere mortal? It can only take God to bring him to his kneels.

Ironically, those being fleeced of these monies are suffering and shouting hallelujah while our apostles live in flagrant luxury. Some businesses have grounded, homes broken, people pauperized because of these ungodly extortions. Giving is a Godly principle that works for Christian, pagans, Muslims, Buddhists, anyone and anywhere. But these manipulated exploitation of God's people is certainly not of God.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, how many times did Jesus celebrate his birthday? Okay, birthday was not in vogue then. We knew some people WILLINGLY ministered to Him of their substances. But how many times did Jesus call for donations or give his disciples targets to meet to enable Him run His ministry? Oh, I forgot, Jesus was too divine for such. Then, can someone show me which of the apostles or disciples that did it? All the doctrines of giving that is enforced in this ministry are borrowed from the old testament. When it concerns money, old testament is applied. But when it concerns righteousness, you are reminded that old testament have been abolished. That is why every iniquity they commit are explained away in the concept of sin.

As I explained in my book Acts Of Our Apostles, one of the major reasons most African nations are poor is the rate at which our churches mop up money from circulation. The already poor people are dispossessed of their meagre incomes to the tune of billions of dollars every year, not to be invested in any beneficial project for them, but to provide luxury and thin god status for the pastors. Offer 7, Offer 1,2,3 to 31 are all avenues for filthy lucre. Any endeavour that has no benefits to mankind is futile.

Please do not use offensive words on Man of God, do not insult him, you are just ordinary human being, you do not know the true prophet or the fake one. I sincerely advice all Nairalanders that usually insult or criticize men of God to desist from it. Is better you just keep quiet instead of saying what you are not very sure. You do not have any prove to show that he is a fake man of God. Always be careful with what comes out from your mouth. Jesus that came to die for everybody is the same man that said is not what goes into a man that defies him but a man is been defied by what comes out from him. I am very serious because i have attended series of bible institutes, all of them cannot be teaching the wrong gospel at the same time, I use to criticize some men of God but when i was thought the consequences, i knelt down to ask God for forgiveness. I realized that Faith is the most superior thing in the Christian doctrine, if you feel you can actually be bless by going to the shiloh, then go, but if you feel is a way to collect peoples money and preach usual gospel, seat at home, feel free, but do not refer to the Man of God as evil, fraudster or use any false words on him.
