wahalaO:that G99 chipset is absolutely useless to a serious gamer. Even the Pova 6 pro with dimensity 6080 is still not worthy of being called a gaming phone. The Pova line has always been for big batteries I don't know what made them brand it as a gaming phone when it lacks the hardware for it. |
Phones / Re: ***** Infinix Discussion Thread ***** by Norman4real(m): 8:30am On Apr 08 |
TNORWAY:almost everything here is false. The 40i has HD screen not FHD. It's battery charges 18W, not 33W. Don't use jumia as a basis for getting accurate phone specs. Use GSMArena or go to the official infinix website. 1 Like |

Azazyel:Good advice here. If it's Tecno, strictly camon or phantom. If it's infinix, strictly Note or Zero. I've had a Phantom X2 for almost a year now. It's never slowed down, doesn't heat up(unless playing CODM at maximum graphics settings), battery is a beast, Cameras sharp and I've at least got one major software update so far and expecting one more. 1 Like |

Adewale1603: Tracking stolen phones is very expensive and it's the biggest waste of time. These days guys steal and sell the phones in a different country. And if it's iPhone or Samsung that can't be unlocked they'll tear it down for valuable parts like screen. The last 2 phones I lost were Realme 5 and Poco F3. I didn't waste my time, just saved up money for a new phone. |

Phones / Re: Pix:the Fake Transsion 3 Camera sensor Lies/Deceit,tecno,itel,fnixLies Exposed!! by Norman4real(m): 4:20pm On Mar 05 |
noobody:nope, it clearly indicated one as a flash light, which anyone with half a brain can clearly see. And the second one, is an auxiliary sensor that assists the main camera lens, it's not in itself a camera lens. And I've already proved to you that these other brands like Redmi and Realme also use this sensor on their phones. It may not be a camera lens but that doesn't mean it's fake or that it's useless. |
Phones / Re: Pix:the Fake Transsion 3 Camera sensor Lies/Deceit,tecno,itel,fnixLies Exposed!! by Norman4real(m): 3:54pm On Mar 05 |
noobody:I didn't say it should be a nairaland thread. Show me something on their twitter/facebook/instagram or any marketing materials that implies that the phone is supposed to have 3 cameras. |
Phones / Re: Pix:the Fake Transsion 3 Camera sensor Lies/Deceit,tecno,itel,fnixLies Exposed!! by Norman4real(m): 3:52pm On Mar 05 |
noobody:Lol, none of those pages is mine so i wouldn't know about it. And btw you've successfully diverted the topic by trying to call me marketer. I did not deny that fake accounts exist, my argument was with you calling the 3 circles "fake" lenses when the phone itself is indicated that it's a single main camera. |
Phones / Re: Pix:the Fake Transsion 3 Camera sensor Lies/Deceit,tecno,itel,fnixLies Exposed!! by Norman4real(m): 3:46pm On Mar 05 |
noobody:okay, to settle this show me just one instance of tecno itself marketing a Pop 8 as having 3 cameras and I'll deactivate. I want you to show me tecno itself doing this, not some wannabe tech-reviewer that is clueless about what he's doing. Show me that tecno has advertised the phone as having 3 cameras. Coz if not then you are making a non-argument. I've already showed you that having 3 circles is a design and aesthetics choice, it doesn't equate to false marketing. |
Phones / Re: Pix:the Fake Transsion 3 Camera sensor Lies/Deceit,tecno,itel,fnixLies Exposed!! by Norman4real(m): 3:36pm On Mar 05 |
noobody:Exhibit number 2, heres the realme note 50. A low end phone released this year that also has the 3 camera circles and yet has only one 13mp camera lens. Tell me now if we should consider the entire realme brand as a scam simply because of this design choice.

Phones / Re: Pix:the Fake Transsion 3 Camera sensor Lies/Deceit,tecno,itel,fnixLies Exposed!! by Norman4real(m): 3:29pm On Mar 05 |
noobody:Why does it have 4 circles yet the specs show that it uses a single 13mp camera. Explain that please... Coz according to your logic every circle must contain a camera lens otherwise it's fraud. Actually you can compare it to a Samsung A12 that has similar design and yet actually has all 4 lenses. By your own definition we should regard redmi as fraudsters too. When you're done with this single example we can also look into realme and oppo that have made similar design choices and you'll tell me if they too are frauds. |

noobody:bro you're being so ignorant about this. Okay if you think this is only a tecno thing, i want you to take a look at the redmi 10a. Look at how many camera circles it has behind and then find out how many actual camera lenses are then. When you get the answer to that then try to actually look through various brands you'll realise that almost all of them do it. Especially with their lowest end smartphones. You'll then get your mind right. |
Phones / Re: Can I Sue A Mobile Phone Company For Misinformation And Others? by Norman4real(m): 10:59pm On Mar 04 |
noobody:Lol, so i make just one post about a Transsion phone every 2 years, and that makes me some paid agent. Lol, that's funny coz I'm not even Nigerian. Now go to those posts and see if I've asked anyone to buy those phones or even posted a link to any external site. Why is it hard for you to believe that someone can actually just be a fan of something without being paid to fake it? You need to check yourself man. 1 Like |
Phones / Re: Pix:the Fake Transsion 3 Camera sensor Lies/Deceit,tecno,itel,fnixLies Exposed!! by Norman4real(m): 11:50am On Mar 03 |
noobody:you can only call it "deceiving" if they actually claimed that those circles are cameras. If they never said that then it's you making a false assumption. |

You made this whole thread to basically complain about nothing. Is there an issue with the phone you bought? Is there something not working as advertised So what if Facebook identified the device differently? Is Facebook's core purpose to identify and certify phone models? The simple explanation here is that Facebook simply doesn't have the Hot 40i registered in whatever database it uses especially since it's a fairly new model. Try using an app like Antutu whose core purpose is to verify and test phone specs and if that gives you different results then maybe we could have a problem to actually address. Otherwise this thread is just nonsense. 4 Likes |

You're just realising this now Where have you been . Those huge bumps are just for design and aesthetics purposes. You can't necessarily call it "fraud" just because its designed to look good. On the specs sheets they clearly indicate if the camera has a single, dual or triple lens setup. Otherwise it's your own ignorance if you see 3 big circles and automatically assume that the phone has 3 camera lenses. 4 Likes |

Phones / Tecno CAMON 30 Premier Announced. Their Best Phone Yet. by Norman4real(m): 7:11pm On Feb 28 |
I've just been checking out the features online and i don't think I've seen a tecno phone that ticks all the boxes like this one. Here's some key features that i really loved. 1264 x 2780 LTPO OLED screen. This is probably the highest resolution they've used on a phone(except the fold) this type of screen is better than the normal oled screen because it has variable refresh rate that can go as low as 1hz. Unlike the ordinary screens that only switch between 60hz and 120hz. This is also the screen with the slimmest bezzels on a Tecno. Dimensty 8200 CPU. it's dated by over a year but still one of the best upper mid range CPUs. It hardly gets better than this for a midrange. I expect it can handle any game thrown at it. Cameras. It's got a triple set up and each lens is 50mp. Ultrawide, Telephoto and main cameras. For the main camera they used the sony imx890 which has been seen on previous high midrange and flagship phones like Oneplus 11. The design. From the images and videos I've seen online, it's got a very unique design that aims to mimic an actual digital camera, it's quite interesting. With a metallic frame and "vegan leather" back. Other noticeable additions Stereo speakers with dolby atmos support. Infrared blaster.(Nice addition but i'd have no use for this) LED notification light at the back. 12GB RAM, 512GB UFS storage. Android 14. (Hopefully we get 15 LoL.) 70W fast charging. (Probably the fastest I've seen from tecno) |
Phones / Re: In The Next Two Years, Redmi Phones Would Be Same With Tecno And Infinix by Norman4real(m): 9:38pm On Jan 31 |
Lol, you switched from a flagship grade SD865 to a lower midrange SD4 gen 1. I think first of all, it's you to blame for downgrading. You thought that just because the Note 12 is more recent, it would be a better phone. |
