Nourahwilly24:definitely. This will be a hit if priced right |

I've just been checking out the features online and i don't think I've seen a tecno phone that ticks all the boxes like this one. Here's some key features that i really loved. 1264 x 2780 LTPO OLED screen. This is probably the highest resolution they've used on a phone(except the fold) this type of screen is better than the normal oled screen because it has variable refresh rate that can go as low as 1hz. Unlike the ordinary screens that only switch between 60hz and 120hz. This is also the screen with the slimmest bezzels on a Tecno. Dimensty 8200 CPU. it's dated by over a year but still one of the best upper mid range CPUs. It hardly gets better than this for a midrange. I expect it can handle any game thrown at it. Cameras. It's got a triple set up and each lens is 50mp. Ultrawide, Telephoto and main cameras. For the main camera they used the sony imx890 which has been seen on previous high midrange and flagship phones like Oneplus 11. The design. From the images and videos I've seen online, it's got a very unique design that aims to mimic an actual digital camera, it's quite interesting. With a metallic frame and "vegan leather" back. Other noticeable additions Stereo speakers with dolby atmos support. Infrared blaster.(Nice addition but i'd have no use for this) LED notification light at the back. 12GB RAM, 512GB UFS storage. Android 14. (Hopefully we get 15 LoL.) 70W fast charging. (Probably the fastest I've seen from tecno) |
Lol, you switched from a flagship grade SD865 to a lower midrange SD4 gen 1. ![]() I think first of all, it's you to blame for downgrading. You thought that just because the Note 12 is more recent, it would be a better phone. ![]() |
Oh No... You bought the 4G variant. I hope you weren't deceived into thinking you were getting the 5G model. |
MSN1:s7 is a very bad option. Outdated software, fragile and easy to break, very weak battery life, over heating and limited internal storage. |
It's your friend that scammed you. Take the phone back to him so he can claim this screen repair service, after all he's the one that bought the phone. |
MartinsD12:you're already getting too much at that price. Asking for 5g is a bit much. I hope I get the chance to hold it in hand and feel it's actual performance, the display quality and the camera. |
obinna58:that's just marketing phrases. You'd be an idiot to expect this to actually perform on flagship level with phones that cost 4 times as much. |
obinna58:it's actually a good chip. Just not powerful enough to compete with higher mid range. But at least it's equal in performance to the Helio G88 and it's added advantage is that it uses faster UFS 2.0 storage. |
Cheap redmi phones are no different from tecno and infinix. If you're looking to upgrade better go for the upper midrange Note series. Though those may be above your 120k budget |
I use a Phantom x2 and there's no disappointment here. It's a very capable gaming phone. I also use Oraimo fast charger, Oraimo freepods 4 and a 40,000mah Oraimo power bank. Oraimo accessories are very good quality. I once had an Oraimo watch but wasn't really impressed by it's functionality. But it's battery life was good. |
Shaban2:you truly are an idiot if you believe you'll just give money to someone and have it doubled overnight. How old are you Like, i really wonder what goes on in the heads of people like this. Please work hard and diligently you'll make money with time, if you keep trying to take such short cuts you'll keep getting scammed. |
Tyg3rFvry:I'm not bitter, lol. I'm being very realistic. It's got a small battery, and that sd845 is going to heat up seriously when it's actually put to task. I'm not here to hate. Just enjoy the display and average camera quality coz that's all that phone has left to offer after 5yrs. Don't even bother heavy gaming if you want it to last you a year or two. |
I can't imagine myself being hyped over a Samsung s9 in 2023. I get it's still a good performer but it's not even worth talking about. Come back in a few months and tell us about the battery drain and overheating |
I had a F3, it's camera wasn't as impressive as i would have liked. On the other hand I've also had an iPhone 11 and it's camera was great. Haven't used a F4 so I can't make the comparison. |
dboyoji:the iOS is smoother thing no longer applies. The F4 at 120hz is a much smoother and faster phone than the 11. The Only advantage of the iphone is that it's cameras will be better despite it being an older model. But in every other way the F4 is a better phone. |
Pkgplanet:I didn't make any mention of it being used locally in Nigeria. That's an entirely different issue. My point was regarding the initial point of origin. So assuming he actually imported it used from the UK and went ahead to use it locally for about 3 months and then sold it to you. Does that still count as a UK used console?? |
Pkgplanet:UK/US used is the equivalent term to saying that the product is not brand new. It doesn't matter the origin of the item. Even a used console from china will be branded as UK used. Just use this as common sense and don't argue about it again. The UK and US are not favourable countries to import gadgets from anymore. Most are from china and Dubai |
I was hoping that it would do with a D9000 chipset, since it's a gaming phone and all. |
thachosen:why would you get such an old model phone. Anyway if it's charging so slow then you probably need to get a better original charger preferably Oraimo. If that doesn't work then have the charging board changed. Go to a trustworthy mechanic or Carlcare service center. |
RGBshield:i bought phantom X2 ![]() |
You forgot to mention that the type of memory used also matters. Two phones can have the same amount of RAM and even the same type of chipset, but if one is using LPDDR4X RAM and another is using LPDDR5X RAM the latter will be able to handle tasks better. |
ikennamadu1:Here's a screenshot from the phone I'm using this moment, does this look like infinix to you?
|
ikennamadu1:Lol, in the past 4 years I've used a Realme 5, Redmi note 8 pro, Poco F3 and Redmi Note 10 pro. You can't tell me shit. I have absolutely no reason to lie to you. |
Mustiboy:I haven't been excited about their phones in years. But since the launch of the phantom last year i continue to be impressed. So much that I'm planning on getting the latest Infinix Note 30 VIP. The last transsion phone i used was the Infinix Note 5, so I'm a bit excited. I guess I've had my fill of redmi and realme. |
Physicsgodbeast:That phone is from 5 years ago. There are no software updates for it. If the phone is functioning well just use it as it is and forget about updates. |
damble:if you value durability, battery life and better software support go with the A14. If you want batter display, better cameras go with the s9. |
Adewale1603:no brand is immune to such issues. From my experience Samsung phones gets more charging and battery issues than tecno. |
Hi guys is the Note 30 VIP available in stores yet? And if so what's the official price? |
That's if you bought a phone from 8 years ago. The phones made these days support networks from all across the world, doesn't matter which country. |
Lol, those replies of guys jerking each other off. Probably the same guy with different accounts 😂😂 |

Like, i really wonder what goes on in the heads of people like this.
