Yes! iPhones are overrated. That's not to say that they're bad, but after you spend so much money to get one you realise you could've gotten the same quality from a flagship android phone or even better in some respects.

For the whole "eco system" view i agree that apples software is more streamlined and effective if you know what you're doing and you're used to it, but there's really nothing you can do on it that android won't do. Problem is that each android manufacturer tries to create their own ecosystem when the simple solution is to focus on Google's ecosystem and focus on google apps to get the best out of it.

Now regarding the "hate coz you can't afford it argument" i say that's partially false. Older iphones like the 7, 8 and X series are actually quite affordable for the average midrange phone buyer but the fact is that people have been biased against apple for a while and most just won't buy one unless it's an extra phone that's just for showing off.

Personally i have one reason why i love iphones, that's coz of their insanely powerful processors. If i was ever to buy one of their latest phones it would be simply to use as a gaming phone.

oga, which iPhone or Pixel phone will you buy from a "reputable" shop with that low budget? 100k is for low level midrange phones and for the phones you mentioned can only get you a refurbished model.

Especially on the hanging of calls part.

Most times, when a call comes in, the phone freezes for 3_6 seconds which is quite irritating.
You won't get to see the caller ID and all but you would feel the phone vibrating.

For a 6gig ram phone, it is clearly a let down.

I also guess it might be an OS problem.

hahahahahaha, my Redmi N8pro does this too. The phone will vibrate for about 5 seconds before it actually shows me the caller ID and will some times refuse to pick up the call even after I've swiped up to answer it.

you can buy it, coz the features show that it's a really nice phone. My point is that the idea of dual chip is just a marketing strategy... You won't get anything special just because of the dual chip feature.

All phone chips are technically dual... Coz they integrate both the CPU and CPU in the same chipset. Whoever is using that as a selling point is just taking advantage of your ignorance. Its nothing special.

I watch most of my downloaded series in 480p on a 50 inch TV. It's alright for the most part. But if you want something to really enjoy like say a big blockbuster movie u need to have it in 1080p.

I've been alright this whole time and never gone for testing, nevee fallen sick. There's no way in hell I'm voluntarily going for that vaccine at this stage. Y'all Guinea pigs can go be used for case studies over here my immunity runs strong.

Did you ask if they could just repair it and put it in a proper condition. Problem is that you're demanding for either refund or new phone but that's not how warranty works. Only way they give you a new phone is if this one here is beyond repair and can't work again. Otherwise just ask for it to be repaired. It's probably something minor like a new battery and you'll be good to go.

I'm just seeing this your nonsense assertions, Corning glass 5 is nothing new as even Redmi note 7 of years back had Corning glass 5 front and back.

All those phones I mentioned are light years ahead of the phantom X and they're all cheaper, in fact my Poco F2 pro came with all those supposed premium build, a Snapdragon 865 processor along with a better camera system and it was never up to 230k. This phones fails every way possible

Dimensity 700 beats G95 in single-threaded workloads (both have 2 Cortex-A76 and 4 A55s, but G95 is 2.05GHz and D700 is 2.2GHz). In multicore, they are more or less the same. However in graphics; G95 is more powerful (Mali-G76 MP4 senior Mali G57 MP2).

But where Dimensity 700 utterly destroys the Helio G95 is in efficiency. 12nm vs 7nm?! For where?

okay, so when you take into account the performance as a whole, which one is better?? Huh? Its the G95 so stop making weak arguments for "single core" performance. Lol. and btw I'd already stated that the D700 is more power efficient and that's it's only main advantage.
So going back to the main point of this whole article if the two chips are so much similar in performance why did the "tech savy" author decide to put the two in completely different classes. I'll tell u why, it's coz he just assumed that dimensity automatically has to be better. Same way most assume anything Snapdragon is automatically better than anything mediatek.

Oga gsmarena reviews midrange devices all the time so when they say it's trash they certainly know what they're saying, so you'd rather follow what Valor review says abi

I would rather hold it for myself and confirm whether the cameras are good or not. GSM arena gave the RN8 pro good ratings for their camera but after almost a year with the phone i still don't see anything outstanding about it's camera compared to a realme 5 i had before it.

after watching reviews i think my perception of the phone has gone up a bit considering two main factors, it has no built-in ads in the software and also the fact that they used an actual telephoto lens in their cameras with a laser focus. I also saw that it's water proof though it doesn't have an official IP rating.

This is something we needed back in the day when most phones were 1 or 2GB ram. But now increasing ram from 8gb to 10gb hardly makes a difference.

That 450$ price is outrageous. I expect it to go a bit cheaper. Probably about 380$
