There was never a time when phones were AFFORDABLE. Unless you're talking about entry level trash like the Tecno P5 or Samsung Galaxy J1.

The Infinix Zero 6 in 2018/19 with SD636 sold for 120K. If you adjust for inflation using 20%, that's almost 200k for a lower Midrange phone. The Samsung Galaxy A30 with Exynos 7904 sold for 90k which is around 160-170k today.

Phones were never cheap. It was Xiaomi that crashed the prices of good phones and that's why we loved them. They didn't only crash it, they taught us how to read phones specs and spot good phones. This was so that we could know what they were giving us on the cheap.

Ok, but my point was that Xiaomi phones were comparatively much cheaper than other brands on market, but they weren't readily available in most places. You had to order the phone online and wait for a few days or weeks. But now that the company has invested in physical stores, employed sales and marketing teams, we can see their prices going up and almost level with other brands like Samsung and Tecno.

Are they not selling to the countries they were present before opening an office in Nigeria,and are the prices different?

if you remember the way xiaomi started out back when the phones were really affordable, they didn't have offices in most countries. It was mainly acquired through online purchase. Just a few countries in europe and china had physical stores. That was the same for some other brands like oneplus and realme.

I've been a fan of Xiaomi since 2017 especially with the Redmi note 4 series even when they didn't have an office in Nigeria.

We were getting these phones cos of value for money,these days their phones are pricey especially for the midrange phones.

the increase in price is coz they now have to set up a physical presence in the country, invest in marketing, pay taxes...etc back then you just ordered online from china at no experience to them.

Run from itel power banks.. It will probably stop working in 6 months or max 1 year if you're lucky.. Just buy oraimo and have peace of mind

itel powerbanks are made by oraimo. Same goes for all itel branded accessories.

I have a friend that uses this phone and i can testify that it's indeed a beast in performance, and it's display is amazing. But i have to give it's camera a poor rating, in my view the redmi Note 12 pro had a better camera.

Doesn't make sense to be making this comparison. Especially when the devices aren't even at the same price point.

Where i am the 8GB/128GB spark 10 pro is 550k shillings approximately $147USD
The Redmi Note 12 6GB/128GB starts at around 900k shillings approximately $240USD.
So of course the Redmi is the much better option, end of discussion.

Today's making a week I got the 10 Pro at 118,900.

So far the only thing I'm not satisfied with is the Battery, on lite use (WIFI) it lasted just 19 hours, I expected longer time. When I got 5 Pro for my sister 2 years ago, on lite use battery can go for 24hrs+


I'm yet to installed heavy software and games... Aside from that, it's dawn ok for the price.


This is my first time of getting tecno for myself, I'm Samsung fan... The 10 pro spec was tempting, I need that 256 ROM badly. I'm not a Cam fan, but I'm impress with the cam.

the reason the battery may not be as good as older phones 2yrs ago is because you're using it at a high refresh rate of 90hz and higher resolution of 1080p. In fact even the apps now are more power hungry than they were 2yrs ago. Not to mention the stronger processor running the phone takes more power. But all in all 19hrs on a 5000mah battery is very fine.

All this super fast charging is unnecessary to me, especially if it makes the phone more expensive. I've had a 33w charging phone and it fills in 40 minutes and that's more than sufficient.

Spark 10 pro is the real king of budget devices so far.

If you have that Ram memory fusion thing enabled, disable it quickly and restart the phone

it depends on the model of Samsung you used. If you used budget Samsung phones like A11, A03, A12... This will be a definite upgrade. This is actually on par with the Samsung A32/33 series and at a much lower price.

I recommend you use as it is. Don't waste more money trying to buy a new battery or paying technician to fix the software. Save that money and just buy a NEW phone.

The obvious choice would be the S21+ but i guess you're just not familiar with pricing coz that phone is in a completely different price range from the A53 and RN10p.

Good display, Good battery life, medium quality cameras, but best of all is that it's design is really good looking and the side bezzels are so minimum.
The processor can handle most games but heavy games like COD will make your phone heat up.

Correct to an extent. The SD720G doesn't support high refresh rates, yes. But the SD720G supports up to 200MP cameras which is way better. You can check the spec sheet.

that's for a single camera set up. If you're to use it for a triple camera set up it probably won't go beyond 64mps for the main camera.

720G is slightly better than the G96. Definitely.

their performance is on par, and the 720G probably more power efficient. But the main advantage of the G96 is that it supports 120hz screens and 108MP cameras which the SD doesn't.

Is the price for Poco x3 or x3 pro. I'm confused.

Spark 4 Bro the phone is old, save up for something better

I'm using a Poco F3. Probably won't need to upgrade to any other phone for the next 3 yrs if my phone isn't lost or damaged.

Looks to be good.
G88 processor, 90hz screen, Full HD, 5000mah battery, 50mp camera. Only thing that could let this down is the Infinix software.

I love the idea, but playing that on the pova neo is a No-No for me. The phone is using a goddamn P22 processor. Even at the lowest graphics it must be a struggle playing CoD on this phone. This is something they could've done with the Camon 18 line up. At least those phones have G85, G96 processors.
