ruggedtimi: Ye didn't do well but I have a problem with all these people cancelling him here and there. The problem is that antisemitism will start growing because some people (fanatics of whatever Ye is defending) may start attacking the Jews. It's easy to cancel a famous person, how do you deal with an ordinary fellow (the everyday gun wielding individuals) who is exhibiting violent acts because of hatred? They should have penalized Ye instead of bullying him economically. |
Romance / Re: "I'm Sorry" – Nigerian Lady Begs A Man She Rejected 3 Years Ago by Nosayer: 9:25am On Oct 28, 2022 |
whemmytopsy: What you said is so true. However, any lady who made a choice to reject a guy shouldn't have to go back begging the guy for forgiveness. It showed she didn't respect her decision and beyond that, it shows she either didn't think we'll before rejecting the guy, saw something alluring about the guy or she is just plainly desperate. Not everyone who is rejected turns out better but sometimes they do. So, when they do, a girl shouldn't be desperate to get back to the person. Life is about chances and if you can't take chances for a person, you should respect your choice over that person 21 Likes 3 Shares |
Celebrities / Re: US Shoemaker, Skechers Sends Out Kanye West After Showing Up Unannounced by Nosayer: 5:21pm On Oct 27, 2022 |
OneCandleAway: There's a looming problem with this ideology though. It's similar to the Ideology of "Fulanis are untouchable" which we hate in Nigeria Some people may actually start acting violently against the Jews because of this thought. You don't completely cancel someone because you want to erase an ideology, some people may pick "inspiration" from that ideology you're trying to erase. |

Righteousness2: Paaito....the Jews you're even supporting and omitting here are not supporting the biblical standards all the time. Antisemitism is wrong, I wouldn't support it. But the capitalist Jews can't be exonerated from the promotion of evils which you condemn all the time. Find something else Pastor. Except your messages are now getting contradictory. 1 Like 1 Share |

post=117906587: Amadioha is not a government of any country. FGN is the government of Nigeria and their job is to arrest and punish terrorists. We're paying the government salaries and allowances but you want Amadioha to do the job for them. What kind of human are you? 8 Likes |

TheSameGuy: Who sited the public institutions there? The government or RCCG? Your fight should be against those. The question people should ask is "what is RCCG campground meant for?" Is it a public estate or community like you have in Nigerian towns? Lastly, why didn't Muric say anything about a Muslim president after another Muslim president is rounding off office and this time with a Muslim VP o? |
Politics / Re: FG Earmarks $7 Billion For Poverty Reduction by Nosayer: 8:03am On Oct 26, 2022 |
Has the 7 billon dollars wasted or have more Nigerians become rich? Two things are involved: either $7 billion is wasted or Nigerians have become richer. If the latter is untrue, then Buhari and his gangs of r*gues mismanaged $7 billion. If it is true, then $7 billion has changed the life of Nigerians. 29 Likes 1 Share |

Triangles1: His popularity was bound to reduce except he becomes the president anyways. So you mean he should have cowered out like a lily-livered ? Where is Madi Sambo by the way? Imagine Osinbajo on the board as a presidential candidate, even Obi wouldn't have any chance. 1 Like |

BloomingDale: This comment is understandable but I can't find how it links with the saying that (African) men are gays because they hang out with their friends. And as for the western world you talked about here, it's getting hotter between their males and females. I wouldn't want that over here. |
Celebrities / Re: Adidas Terminates Partnership With Kanye West by Nosayer: 5:04pm On Oct 25, 2022 |
abbey621: This world is more hypocritical than what you're thinking though you're hypothetically correct. It's one group trying to silence the other and for now, the minority (gays, transgenders etc and all those using them for politics) are winning. Kanye is especially fighting those politicians and cooperations benefiting from the term "woke" culture while using those minorities as a means of enriching their pockets. The politics in America is so thick and rough and for now, the liberals are having their way so much that you won't survive in their university system if you don't conform or stay silent. By the way, Kanye is brilliant but I don't think he's completely sane upstairs. 1 Like |

Confirmedzombie: You're this pained... Pele o.... we're in Nigeria together. I'm far better than I was eight years ago when Buhari hasn't come. But the question is, how much was rice then and now? How much is every basic item needed for the common man to survive? Do you think the Yorubas would have been divided over Tinubu if APC had done well? Need I remind you about the thousands of souls that died because of the unmitigated mauraders? If your friends and family are doing well and you're completely out of touch with Nigeria's reality and so desire APC to come again in 2023, then you're a very wicked soul who need to repent quickly and ask God for mercy! 1 Like |

Theunbothered: They actually relish the idea that their misdeeds can be cancelled by a supreme being. That is a kind of hope. Atheism doesn't give you that. Are they now not justified for sticking to religions? There's human nature which religion doesn't take away but suppresses. Suppression doesn't mean absence. So, it's all good for the religionists. |

BigCowHornn: You dey mind am ni? He wants us to know he's an atheist because of the presupposition (which is false) that atheists are usually brillant. The present Nigeria is a country where a lot of people (educated and illiterate) are trying to get rid of the idea of gods so that they can do what they like. Nigerian girls as at this time, play the front row in this. 3 Likes 1 Share |

maasoap: So Africans weren't religious before the whites came? Have you ever thought if it as this: religion became very popular in Africa because Africans are naturally superstitious? That's by the way, people haven't given up on their traditional religious ideas. Those who use it to manipulate people still do. But religion is about going to the market to buy what you feel you need. Nobody should be intimidated for that. 5 Likes |

pocohantas: Really? So many comments on this Nairaland that attempt to show philosophical Ideologies without any depth. If there is no one setting moral standard, then, morality is objective. And if morality is objective, then it's supposed to be voluntary. Isn't that the argument for a lot of sexual-related issues we have around. As for the conscience, how do humans have conscience when they're just higher animals? Who gave them the conscience? 6 Likes |

LegendHero: Come to think of it, these are great sand strategic plans that can move a nation forward. BUT, APC is a party if thieves that cannot be trusted. Buhari's manifesto, though less specific was greater than this and Tinubu watched while Buhari failed miserably. Tinubu didn't know that Buhari wasn't the only one who failed, APC failed and since Tinubu is from APC, they can't have a chance again. He can give it to a candidate who will be more accountable to the people. APC folks that have accountability as a characteristic. |

If you can find someone trustworthy (preferably a spiritual person), you can confide in them to checking you. You're going to do away with a lot of triggers. Either on Nairaland, Twitter and elsewhere you easily come across nude pictures and videos. If you can avoid the triggers for long, you can build strength to overcome it. 1 Like |

ATLIEN2027: Racism and insults as your hideouts shows you don't have much knowledge about what you're discussing. Calling Truss' resignation a characteristic of the whites not only shows how racists you are, it also shows your acceptance of being enslaved by your political lord and master's who should be in geriatric chambers. In ancient Ibadan when politics is too hot, they'd ask the leader to either voluntary abdicate or commit suicide. And the leaders obliged. It wasn't characteristic of the whites then? |

Kajaard: That was the way Nigeria was running in early 60s. If not for our violent nature and the crazy young soldiers, parliamentary is still the best. It's the easiest to making the seat hot for an incompetent head of government. 1 Like 1 Share |
