Bacs go teach all the students but wait o...VCs never close the universities, ASUU did. If the government was sincere, the strike might not have been protracted but now, they just wasted students' years over what they would later do. 3 Likes |

OSUigboFlatHead: Yet its adherents are the most persecuted in the world. Yet it has the largest followers across all the history of religion that you can ever think of. Yet its principles laid the foundation for the modern concept of freedom and liberty. Yet it doesn't kill anyone for leaving the religion, blaspheming against its teachers and prophets You should ask yourself who is really more hypocritical. Yourself without an iota of what Christianity is all about or Christianity that waits for people to modify their own behavior based on internal convictions rather than forcing people to wear a certain kind of clothes etc 2 Likes |

IamNat: How many of the Yorubas are actually involved in the "US" you're referring to? FYI, Yorubas take religion seriously though not as extreme as the North but this is due to their pluralistic religious lifestyle where an Alfa is still doing babalawo and a so called woli is still entering forest to get herbs, buying candles and burning animals. Is that what you mean by the religious tolerance? Or can the Muslim Yorubas take half of what they dish out to the Christians in their mosques everyday when they shout "awọn kiriyo". You better find something more profitable to do this morning than this propaganda. |

Politics / Re: Photo Of How Lagos State May Look Like, If/after Igbos Leave by Nosayer: 3:23am On Sep 22, 2022 |
This over-bloated sense of importance is the reason why ignorant folks like this op keep attracting hatreds to the Igbos. Igbos found a booming city where they can make quick money and they migrated there in droves, yet you're saying you made the city what it is. If it's too difficult to read history, why not just look around for videos to show you what Lagos looked like in the 1900s when your own ancestors were still fighting themselves in their huts? This guy should just be ignored for sanity sake. I think he's one of the SS3 boys lucky enough for an uncle to get him one palasa phone. Instead of doing his assignment with it, he's ranting here on Nairaland attracting hatreds to the Igbo race. Lagos is the New York of Nigeria with residents from all parts of the country and probably the city with the largest number of expats. If Igbos leave for any reason, there are many other people to fill up the space (for their own economic benefit of course) 30 Likes 5 Shares |

That baba no understand a bit of what he was reading from there. If he did, he would have been too ashamed because of ASUU that has been on strike for over 7 months. Look at how many trillions they've wasted on infrastrures with lots of debts they have no way of paying, yet they can't close their eyes in over 7 years of governance to give out 1 trillion to revitalize the universities and create a sustainable system where universities wouldn't have to be depending on them. Primary education - (minus 20%) Secondary education - (0%) Universities. - ( on life support) Yet, our presido is singing songs of "concerted effort" in America that is absorbing Nigerian students like hell is absorbing sinners! 41 Likes 1 Share |

youngsahito: America may lose her power but it won't be that soon. America is building itself by investing in foreigners while China is forcefully utilizing the indigenes. There are advantages for both but in the long run, America will keep having the upper hand until China becomes as friendly as the US to talents from different part of the world. Religion / Re: The Error In Advising Believers To Attend Bible Believing Churches by Nosayer: 2:18pm On Sep 19, 2022 |
And from where did Christ established his messianic role? Where do we find his teachings? Where do we read about his allusions? Oju odu merindinlogun or the Satanic verses? Not every idea that sounds new is sensible. The Bible contains the word of God and without it, Christ couldn't have established his role nor teach his disciples. Or you didn't read all those places where he said "have you not read?"..... He was referring to the scriptures there. He came to fulfill the law and not to condemn it. 1 Like |

Religion / Re: If Colonial Masters Didn't Introduce Christianity Will We All Have Gone To Hell by Nosayer: 11:45am On Sep 18, 2022 |
One thing I know is that without Christianity, I would have rebelled against traditional gods. I haven't seen anywhere else people bribe their gods to destroy the lives of their neighbors because he is doing better than them. And I'm not pro-Nollywood, I'm talking based on experience. Meanwhile, it's vanity to argue Christianity with non-christians except they have s very objective mind. People will ignore the obvious and go for sentiments and emotions. Argument can't make you experience God, revelation does. |

It's sad for R Kelly to destroy his life and career like that. However, the sense of taking responsibility in terms of parenting is missing in the West. Especially the US |

Kalashnikov49: If tribalism is in their DNA, what is in the DNA of Buhari for the past seven years? As long as Nigeria exists in its present state, the three major tribes are tribalistic and will continue to he tribalistic. This is why continuing the stronghold of power at the central level is an aberration. If Nigeria is to work, restructuring is the way. Not even the election of Obi into the presidency will solve the issue of tribalism in Nigeria. |

ictplotter:And you think the churches are responsible for factories folding up? Haba now, let's be rational. If your country is functioning well, more than half of those who go to church wouldn't go at all. Most people go to church not to serve God but they want God to serve them instead. You have money, food, decent house to live, decent job and relative peace, how many percentage of humans in that state can remember God? 1 Like |
