Politics › Re: Supreme Court Strikes Out Appeal By Rivers APC For Lack Of Merit by NothingDoMe: 9:49pm On Apr 11, 2019 |
garfield1: If you look at the supreme court judgment,it is not exhaustive and is partially advisory.the petitioners according to the court should have started the appeal from the appellate level before getting here.again, the party can still go back to the fhc ph and vacate the barring injunction which is the root cause of the whole exclusion. I dont think it is morally right for a law court to dabble into pre primaries of a party or prevent parties from holding a parties and unjustly stop parties from contesting elections.let all parties do their primaries and there after, the courts can come in.i believe in a fair and just fight afterall we practice democracy that allows as many parties as possible Oga the appeal court talk came from the PDP lawyer and wasn't a judgment by the acting judge. The case lacks merit. You cannot get the Supreme Court to rule against itself. You are here talking of morality instead of legality. It is legal for the court to dabble in a party's primaries whether you like it or not. Events have overtaken the APC primaries. Elections have come and gone. You need to move on Senatordave |

It appears PDP is correct afterall because you are being unnecessarily loquacious concerning this issue.
Now to the important question, can the Supreme Court rule against itself? Or can they EDIT or MODIFY a previous judgement? |

PetroDollax: Na wao. The same Ghana that refused to accept deported Ghanaians from the United States? Gbam, you just talk typical trash. Let m3 educate you. Ghana did not refuse to accept deported Ghanaians from the US. What the Ghana government said was these individuals did not have travel documents, or indeed any proof they were Ghanaian citizens. We have lots of Nigerians using Ghana passports today. What the government said to the American government was that give us time to interrogate each so-called Ghanaian before we issue them travel documents to travel to Ghana. The Ghana government made it clear it will not accept anyone whose citizenship it cannot vouch for. You should praise th3 Ghana government for standing up to the Americans and insisting on following laid down procedures.
I hope I have put some sense into your head, huh? I was addressing this fake news because as at February this year, the US has placed visa restrictions due to hindrance encountered in the deportation process. I don't think you should take your frustrations out on me. Afterall your government refused to co-operate with the United States and they are sorting you guys out. Sorry. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/02/01/africa/us-visa-sanction-ghana-intl/index.htmlhttps://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/us-imposes-visa-restrictions-on-ghana-over-refusal-to-take-deportees/amp/ |

FOLALANA: My Wife had a similar issue. We got our visa in Feb 2016 but she was not pregnant at that time. When we decided to have our baby in the US before the expiration of the visa, we sent an email in March 2017 to the embassy to seek clarification our current visa was valid for the trip or if we needed to apply for another visa..
The feedback from the US embassy was that there is no legal requirement to inform them that we seeking to give birth in the United States or that your purpose of travel has changed. We were advised to show the border protection agents upon arrival in the U.S our birth plan, which would include correspondence with your doctor, the cost of the delivery, any receipts showing prepayments for care and evidence that we have the ability to pay for all costs while in the U.S. up to and including living expenses.
Hope this helps.
Regards This was when many of you abused the letter of intent creating a saga that transmogrified and culminated into the current situation with a near catastrophic eventuality. |
