I was going for Bio- technology at aber university in Wales, with tuition fee £16700, have done TB and it’s says I am going to aber uni, and this night I got a provisional admission from university of Hull that I applied for first week of February 2022, tuition fee of aprox £9000. Course for Hull uni is MA EDUCATION.

I am considering canceling my form A for aber deposit £5000, but I am scared I heard someone said with MA in education you can’t get a job in the Uk and also you can’t teach in their schools, I don’t want to teach in their schools I just want to be sure can I get other jobs aside from teaching with the post graduate cert, and also get the 2 years postgraduate visa after studies. Please I need advice here £16700 is much but I choose to pay it earlier but seeing this offer got me thinking.

You're right...There are some banks that will put 'opening balance' as the amount one have at that particular time which is 'Closing balance' to me.

I don't want to mention the names,I confirmed this by going through my statement of account sent to me,one of them stated it as 'Opening balance' the amount that is there as at 1st May and the 'Closing balance' as at 31st May. I think this is the correct way.

This POF thing once needs to be careful, your balance on the date you asked to start from and the day you are printing is your opening balance and closing balance, please anyone could correct me if I am wrong.

2 weeks, was debited charges and yet to be debited the school fee deposit

What our faith in this country sef, just to pay school deposit is actually going to be a war zone where you succeed or decked.. black market rate be like buying a tea spoon full of juice’ at the rate of the carton.
I have a difference of 1.3m just because I want my payment to be swift just to avoid deadlines.Same thing applies to BTA or PTA, assumptions : if you have 5m to cbn rate £9600
Just assume you have £6500

Note: no bank is fast for form A, just take a bank and marry them. I marry like 7 banks at once I don divorce all of them na only zenith bank remain.

You make use of the dollar card, the card number, exp/ Security. There’s always a payment link from the school you are going to, go through that link it ask for your details and payments details.

Go on http://tradesystem.gov.ng.
Click on the first slide that says exporters portal.
You can find picture in attachment
Follow the process and choose individual, it ask for your Bvn and you can continue from there. If you are confused at any point screenshot and post here asking questions

Once the account is funded in naira it ask you to create a dollar card if you look down on the screen on main page, and once you click it you have the option of dollar card $2 and $4 for gift card. So take the $2 option and proceed to create, when creating the card it ask how much you want to take from your naira to dollar and it sum up everything plus the dollars card charge of $2 at the barter rate you’ll see everything on this page, edit the amount you intend to credit your dollar card and proceed. Once that is done it shows on your balance how much you have on your dollar card and then it’s good to use just like other cards. And at add more it ask at a point to personalize your card, that is by writing a name to identify the differences between your naira card and dollar card

There’s no problem with that even if you don’t add your reference number you are good to go, just make sure the payment was in your name or your dependents name. I made same mistake by even paying my whole family without adding a single reference at the end it was never a problem. It wasn’t even mentioned. So relax

Okay. The naira is getting stronger, that's really good.
It took exactly 6days to credit my pounds account and another 4 days for my school to be debited. I didn't call anyone, I just kept showing face at my branch and sitting with the head of ops there. Dude got tired of my face apparently and was stressing them at the headquarters too. I guess all these together helped my cause. As for telex, they said they only print, but considering the peculiarity of your case, they might make an exception send you a soft copy. I believe its doable.

Please from your previous post I can see you used zenith, just got to adb reviewer disbursement, my question is I can see you’ve said something about crediting your account with fx and before it gets to the school, I only have a savings naira account with zenith and I am at the adb disbursement review ?
How long did it take you from adb disbursement to be debited?

Or open a dom account, buy dollars from Aboki to fund the account, get a dollar card for the account and use it to pay.

And also I don’t think you are been over charged and you should check if not in pounds for yours because for dependents That’s correct.

Please house, am I the only one going through UBA Operation slow method, please if you’ve been debited recently. Please can I know the duration when you applied and got debited.

Nothing goes straight in this country to see money na whala to con pay na still another palava.

Go back to your UBA branch and open a domiciliary account and get a dollar ATM card then load your dom account with dollar (gotten from black market), transfer the dollar to your dollar ATM card then use the dollar ATM card to pay for your school fees deposit.
I'm not too familiar with UBA procedure though. What I described up there is GTB process for dom account opening if you are a current account holder (you can do all this instantly in your GTB bank app


and go pick up your dollar ATM card at the bank -all within 24 hours).

No fast Bank again all banks are now slow majority of us dat submitted in d said fast Bank (UBA) still in adb reviewer for close to two weeks now not encouraging .

I will advice u apply with More than one Bank anyone dat is fast move ur fund there to be debited simple.

Called uba headquarters and I was told they don’t approve transactions on their own, that everything is been sent to the CBN and cbn will be the one to execute. I just tire
