The responses on this thread is why lots of Nigerian women will NEVER build with a man. If heaven fall them go just dey look you.

Women are smarter these days anyway.

OP it's nothing but a pure scam, if both of you contributed your name should be there because you are a co-investor married or not that's the proper way it should be.

My advice moving forward do your investments seperately, no need for fight, no trouble no wahala, don't even ask him about it. The way the men are rigmarolling round the truth on this thread is the way he will be defended when shit happens and you will have no choice.

It's a Man's world, protect yourself as a woman if you are not married to a protector.

Why are you people intentionally ignoring the man's chaotic family? What if he dies and they accuse her of killing him? Strip her of all his wealth and send her packing or are we going to pretend it doesn't happen? How about they divorce, he will now walk away with her investments? I thought we all stan Hakimi because we are good people, didn't know it was because he is a male.

30 minutes of me seeing things from the woman's angle and I feel totally drained. Nawa ooo

You don't mean the bolded? so you never knew it was because he's a man?.

Welcome to the world of women and hypocritical men. All of a sudden they are legally married. Let a woman just buy her own with her own money and put her own name all hell will be loose and you see this 5 pages it will get to 20.

This is Africa indeed. Had to stop reading after your first statement. Where did you read it in the Bible that a believer's fate is to be inheriting spiritual problems? And what is the meaning of 'authority in Jesus Christ'? You people need to stop misinformation. He has created in you the spirit of victory, not of fear. OP please advise your friend HIMSELF to put it in prayer and make a decision from there

You read the last paragraph though so you didn't stop at the first.

Which statement in the first paragraph is wrong, the foundation matters part or which one?

It's the inheriting part that's the issue right? Loool.

If you had taken your time to read all you would have seen the praying part to take the same authority in Jesus name which obviously most are not ready to pay the price of praying through.

But first one has to have the understanding of patterns, foundations and how the spiritual controls the physical, how your bloodline can affect you which obviously lots of chirstains don't even understand.

I only responded to you because you mentioned prayer.

IyfeNamikaze:

Hi I have a friend of mine who stays in Lagos, he has a problem and has been unable to pay his rent for almost a year, the rent has expired since July and now his landlord is telling him to pay by next week or pack out of the house. He's arguing that the landlord is mandated by law to serve him a 6 months quit notice before he can leave but I'm telling him to find his way out of there as soon as he can since his rent has expired.
Is he right with what he's saying or should he instead take my advice ?

He still wants 6 months rent free duration after owing almost 10months?

Nigerians ehn.

This sounds more like a verbal situation, no notice nothing

The landlord is even lenient by telling him to pack out.

He is wrong na he should just move out quietly as the landlord is not even interested in the arrears.

Even the 6 months notice he's clamoring for after expiration if the matter gets to court he will pay for those months.

He should just leave as the landlord doesn't seem interested in pursuing the matter legally

Celebrities / Re: My Son Is 30, Wofai Fada Is 38 - Taiwo Cole's Father by NoToPile: 12:33pm On May 07
Scandinavian02:
The Cole Family of Victoria Island, Lagos, is indeed a great and prestigious family, in Nigeria. This fact, is truly acknowledged by the Ewa Family of Ugep, Cross River State. But, it's important, in the prevailing circumstance, for the Cole Family to know that Ewa Family, is a great family in Ugep. Wofai, is a progeny of the Ewa Family. It's therefore ludicrous for anyone to go to the media, just to disparage the lofty image of wofai. An image attained through determination, hardwork and resilience. The Ewa Family does not intend to join issues with the Cole Family, but wish to state that absence of decorum in their publication, is a low point and therefore debasing. For the purpose of clarity, I hereby state that
(1) Wofai is 33years old. Even her elder sister is not up to 38
(2) The mother of Taiwo, Wofai's husband, was present at the traditional marriage ceremony in Ugep.
(3) Taiwo's father, Engr Cole knew about the marriage plans and even called and promised coming to Ugep to see me . But changed his mind at the last minute. The spurious claim of the lack of information and awareness about the marriage is borne out of ethnic sentiments.
Egu Ewa, for the Ewa Family, Ugep.

@admin
@seun

I don't think ethnicity should come into this matter at all.

Point 2 and 3 was admitted by Engr Cole in the audio.

I thought both families meet before marriage as in Introduction in almost all cultures maybe if this process was followed this mess wouldn't have occurred.

Questions should have been raised when the father who had been spoken with didn't show up.

Either way theTaiwo guy should have known better. There are ways parents from polygamous families and those that are Seperate come together to agree for marriages. His won't be the first or last.

The father has every right to be pissed. Every father whether poor or rich will be pissed with this narrative, the guy didn't handle it well. He no try at all.

The family didn't ask for too much You want to marry her let us do our own investigation.

Those who understand Yoruba should listen to the conversation.

He was not even against the marriage Gan sef, He and another member of the family had already spoken with the girls father too.

Just do things the proper way, you printed I V without telling your father and his people. Palace too was involved, haba. I can only imagine over 40people calling you one morning that your son is getting married and you are not aware.

The papa has said 'Ti alo ba lo abo ma nbo ni'

"Marriage is about the two families"

" He has elder ones that are married is that how they did the process"

The woman sef was like 'Awon omo ti a na owo le Lori yi'. Loool.

The guy is not Genz naa he should know better. Shey the wife's people too didn't ask about the Father that they spoke with earlier?

I assure you that family can readily allow their son marry an unemployed girl. Men don't carry money for head the way women do. After all, even if she has money, not like she will give the guy shishi...so why bother?

The girl is doing well for herself, so it's not a poor girl, rich girl thing.

The only scenario I see is that d boy's father has probably payed private investigators to run a thorough check on the girl.

Does her earnings correspond with her asset? Did she pay for those designers bags out of pocket or was it a gift?

This huge transfer into her account, where did it come from? Where does she lodge when she travels? In whose name is the hotel booked? Did she stay in a $100 per night hotel or a $700 per night room abroad?

Trust me, these info is quite easy to target for those big men.

Add this to the age gap, n the fact d boy doesn't look street smart, then u can understand why d family sense some manipulation.

I wouldn't date u if your family doesn't accept me let alone marry.

The amount of young feminist who would have listened to this girl's preaching about how u can do it all without a man, but 40 starts knocking, desperation enter.

I think the bolded might be the case. They might have gotten some information.

He might even be allowed to marry an average girl as long as she has a good rep.

Thanks all for your comments. From what was shared here I was able to give a better advice to my friend who I talked to over the night.
I told him that if he wants to run a serious Christian marriage, the background of the girl will affect it so it is better to quit now except the girl is ready to be a prayer warrior and have less to do with her family. But if he wants to run a normal marriage, he can go ahead.

My guy told me he wants a Christian marriage o. He told me he just spoke to his uncle pastor about it and the Uncle told him to quit. One, for him to complain that means he is no longer 100% sure about the marriage and that can raise issues in the future. Two, he said most occult men do spiritual things that eventually affect their children and marrying her will be fighting unseen battles he had no idea of. It is better he finds a way to breakoff slowly or let the lady know that his parents are not comfortable with the marriage because of her family background. He himself knows that his family will not accept that but he is willing to turn rebel and do what he wants to do. But now he's having a rethought.

At a point I could hear sounds of crying in his voice over the phone. Guy is still saying that this is the best lady he ever dated. Chei

What do you define as a christain marriage? Just curious.

As for your friend, it's better he let's her know his decision on time not rigmarolling around it so she can consider other offers.

Irresponsible neighbors, irresponsible tenants.

As long as they are not benefiting from the water you are pumping go on soun.

So they don't contribute money for compound cleaning. The landlord needs to know about this one, others can't be paying to clean the compound you live in without your input.

Na them, tenants from hell, they will stress neighbour's, stress landlords.

Foundation matters, do not let anybody deceive you except if you guys will deal with it before you get married.

When you guys get married you both inherit spiritual issues from both bride and grooms line as 2 has become one having an understanding of this will inform you both on steps to take.

Even the friend sef has his own in his family as long as you are African just that hers is her father directly and is closer to home.

If you will deal with it before marriage good
But as people especially the woke chiristain generation don't seem to believe in prayer, patterns and all that these days everything na wokeness, grace, coincidence bleh bleh bleh..... cheesy

Some churches before wedding you the couple run through different prayer programme's because of issues like this as it's rampant in lots of African families you hardly find families who doesn't have such for 3-4generations.

Can your friend and bride pay the price? If they ask them to fast for 3 days and pray can they do it. If they tell them they will run through deliverance several times can they do it?

We once did not rent a place because the owner was into some some of deity worship. And most people in the area never knew.

Abegiii how many years have they been on it. Just Atan - Agbara oo.

For a road that houses an industrial hub that road is still an eyesore.

The dust accumulated by passing there on a daily basis can make someone sick. I don't understand the problem of Ogun state govt. Even if it's a federal road, the money they make from there nko. Lagos will not abandon such place.

It's those that live there that know the true story. You will see them with nose masks red from laterite, even the bike men that ply that route you know them from the laterite dust at Agbara bustop angry

I don't understand was any of Landmark buildings affected? Nope.

The beach front seems to be the issue, does the FG own beach front, I guess that's Yes.

Or is it not the same pictures of the demolition we are seeing everywhere.

The day a surveyor told me all lands belong to the govt and govt can come at anytime to claim any land acquired even legally with C of O and the worse is one would be paid compensation is the day I really understood all this matters.

Meaning govt can come at any time for any property(ies) to use for any purpose.

The fact that you think she's deliberately miscarrying is enough to state the kind of person you are. You stated she has had miscarriages do you know how traumatizing it must have been for her each time.

And you don't want your wife's son to be attached to her as how? When you eventually have children with her don't you want her to be attached to your children.

So true.

My ward finished from a private school and cleared his WAEC and NECO science subjects. We suspected the school helped their students to pass these exams, because the boy hardly read at home. To test him, we obtained external GCE form for him, he attempted the exam and failed all the subjects, except Civics.

They are the ones who have killed the system, except for a few who have moral standards. There are still good ones though that imbibe honesty but they are few.

Ordinarily a child who cleared Waec and Neco should be able to pass most subjects in GCE - same type of exams, maybe only in sciences where you have alternative to practicals instead of pure practical and there are tutorials you attend and resources available to tackle that one.

Let me give you an example of how bad I think it is. We know Waec exam questions leaked some time back then at least I can recall that of 2005, several papers had to be re written after students have solved leaked questions.

As bad as it is these days even if exams leak some of these students will not be able to solve leaked questions at home, they will still have to solve it for them.

There's the part of kids these days not reading and having little knowledge and there's also the role of CBTs

Passing CBTs is a skill on its own, you need speed, accuracy and then knowledge. It's not really like paper objectives. They ( schools /parents) need to train these kids more on these, that mock exams is not enough. Some people are not just good with CBTs it doesn't mean they don't have the knowledge.

One thing the top scorer last year said was that their school made them practice a lot with some exam apps. I believe these are available everywhere but some it's tiktoking they use tech for , some don't even have access to such.

It is said to cause contractions especially the local queens pineapple you have in your pix ( very yummy)

Some claim it's only when you eat the core at the center that cause it.

Some eat it nothing happens, some eat and kasala burst.
So most eat it closer to their due date.

Point is its better to be safe than sorry lots of pregnant women avoid it totally.
