Why are you exonerating the government, is waste management infrastructure available and people refuse to use it. Are they waste bins on our roads, bus stops sbd parks, and people refuse to use them? Are there well maintained public toilets at strategic points and people ignore them? What of sewage. Is there a centralised or even decentralised sewage system? Many house in lagos lack toilets, in most-face-me-I-face-you houses you have 10 families sharing one toilet.

Partially correct at bolded, there are the PSPs which are franchisees and LAWMA itself has trucks which belongs to Lawma I e Lagos state government. most people don't know the difference anyway . So Lagos state government has trucks that we see on the road every blessed day, both morning and night .If those trucks don't roll out just for 12 hours there would be an epidemic and they normally don't cart out waste street to street (that's for the PSPs) they clear the waste brought to the highways, road median, junctions by coconut head residents.

As for sewage I don't have information on that.
So will we blame the govt for lack of toilets in private homes? Now when the Environmental health officers sanction for these same toilet and waste water offences we say govt is harsh so what do we do.

Well for your information, all cities have litters on streets and drainages. The difference why you see them all clean is called GOVERNANCE. It is the duty of government to have agencies who handle them all. Government provide the resources used to purchase trucks and dustbins that are scattered all over the places. Government employs the workers that do the jobs and ensure proper supervision. They all do their jobs, picking refuse everywhere, cleaning the roads and ensuring that their environments are cleans and their communities and cities beautiful for habitation. Oga, Lagos has LAWMA, just like other states have their equivalents. Ask yourself if all of them are efficient. Go around the entire length and breathe of the whole country and you will find the same story. Lawma does not have enough trucks. Lawma is understaffed. That’s the same story all over the country. Even their contractors must be clean first or understand what cleanliness is all about.


Where in the whole world do you find places like Ojota’s olososun refuse dumpsite? What about the whole stretch of Lanre to General hospital along Igando - LASU road?

Also Lagosians don't want to pay the PSP they want free services.

We need to be hard on lagosians and an average lagosian is stubborn , anyone caught pouring waste anyhow should be arrested tried and sent to prison that's the only way we learn , with force .

Our problem is systemic , concerning this waste issue I wouldn't fault the govt entirely the citizens are to be blamed majorly. Very dirty, undisciplined . Shit everywhere, pour waste everywhere do anything anyhow . Once there are consequences they will shape in.

What we understand as Nigerians are consequences and force.

For those shouting about covered drainages I can tell you for free that for most parts of Lagos badagry expressway way that have covered drainages, the gutters are filled to the brim and blocked with whatever, nylons cans, waste.

How this happens I don't know.

When citizens are dirty they are dirty , covered drainages or not. People that shit anywhere and everywhere.

I read her post You should understand that to most lagosians Visionscape never operated. All of us a not living in high brow areas , the lekki and ikoyis they concentrated on and even in these areas there were problems .So yes she is right to most lagosians they were never in operation. People relate to what they can see, some never saw a Visionscape truck throughout the short time they spent unlike the psps we see coming to our streets. Even in the ghetto.

Fashola reshaped Lagos in his first 4 years. Sanwo Olu is a big failure and a mess. His appointees are bigots that do not tackle issues but rather engage in banters on twitter when called out.

You need to be in the waste management business in Lagos to really understand the impact of amboes 4y ears on the waste management system in Lagos state. I can assure you the state has not recovered from it. Infact all these still happening years later are a ripple effect of his policies.

How can one cure dandruff?

Anytime i go to the salon to cut my hair, white stuffs is seen flying everywhere, like powder being blown by breeze!
Inside the following week after the barbing, after a while when through with my bath, my head will be shinning all white with dry white flakes falling from my head. Maybe when my hair is now fully grown back, nobody notices the white stuff again. After sometime when i visit the salon again for an hair-cut, the problem continues again!
