@ddshow, we are just about to celebrate our first anniversary but to answer your question, yes it has been fulfilling so far. What I would have done differently is to have agreed to move sooner than I did. I initially didn't want to move because I was working and all and now I am idle hence I stalk this thread and started a diary in the diary section but I should have trusted God and moved sooner, it's been good.

Yes o, udysweetest, I learnt 'mbok' from you o and I have been using it and yes again, I mentioned you in my diary, hope you don't mind. I had to start a diary to keep track of my activities and to eventually look back and laugh at my earlier experiences plus I like to write and I have so much free time now, I used to be so busy, free time is the reason I have followed this thread page to page, post to post but I just don't comment much because I am married.

Hmm, let me see...i've never thought about that. Ok, it's funny because the mutant I admire the power the most I don't like her character, especially when she became older- mystique. I admire her 'changeability' the way she can become anyone and adapt to any environment. It's a good survival skill but sadly, she's too mean.

Reading Richard Branson's speech where he commented about doing business in Nigeria, you kinda understand why he said so but laying off all Nigerian cabin crew is a bit much (if it's true) unless they are really planning to check Nigeria off their destination list. I'd find that surprising because they make a lot of money flying to and fro Nigeria. But who knows...stranger things have happened.

I usually don't pay too much attention to politics, it brings a lot of quarrel and misunderstanding but I am very interested in Statistics, this post states that Nigeria is the 3rd largest English speaking nation in the world after India and USA. Assuming this is true, just assuming o, then it's a shame because I am not sure what our ministry of education, or maybe foreign ambassadors are doing that Nigerians are made to take English language test if they want to study abroad, well, UK to be precise, that one I am sure of. To think that Jamaica is exempted from this test is amazing. That test is supposed to be for countries that English is not their lingua franca. I think our PR is poor. Just saying.

For us, we are in the process of finding a new church that works for both of us, we tried a new one last week, it was lovely, we went back to the normal one today. I am recently married so I kept away. I was sad when the thread started derailing but I am glad it's back.
